Sales staff are awesome but horrible response from Lennar regarding issues after moving.

We moved into our house in March and overall it is great but we immediately had issues with our dishwasher. We also realized that the line from the Lennar sales rep of “we’ll always be there for you” was a bunch of bull. Immediately after signing they essentially wash their hands of any issues or responsibilities

The house is so expensive and the materials used on the home is very low grade quality. I put a nail on the wall, it just moves without any resistance because there was no wood on the walls. I later discovered the walls are made of cartoons instead of wood. It's a very bad experience I have had. Everything is just falling off just 3 weeks of being in the home.

Planting dead or dying trees on new builds. I used virtual assistance fir mine and when I said my neighbors trees were dead and other trees they were planting looked dead or dying the person who helped me said she’s only dealing with my issues nor my neighbors or surrounding area’s trees. This is sad because it affects the overall appearance of the community. Maybe the neighbors are not computer literate enough to know how to submit their concerns.

Overall buying experience was good. The quality of appliances were not great and Lennar should provide better quality and long lasting appliances. Lennar Mortgage experience wasn't great. Need to improve on overall experience.

Overall experience was good heidi at lennar mgt and Jordan were outstanding Biggest complaint is the lack of paying attention to details. Paint overall was less than satisfactory Railing finish work was sloppy . In both cases more care was needed to provide a better finished product. Carpentry was satisfactory but again little things like sanding mitered edges before painting are things you just expect to be done Perhaps a review of subs is in order Second lennar purchase so pleased with the builder but expect more quality finish work given the price point

During the build process, Lennar did a great job of communicating the process via a weekly email. Unfortunately, beyond anyone control, the process took way too long. The impact of Covid-19 on the build was huge. Materials like windows seem to take forever to arrive. Matt and Tina were very good and providing updates. I have built many homes in the past. The overall workmanship on this home is average. There have been many minor issues that we found after we moved it. Lennar has been responsive in making the changes, but I feel like Lennar should have caught many of these in the process of QC'ing the work from their partners. Lennar was upfront regarding request to changes in the home. Lennar does not modify the home from the specification of the model. Simple request to add additional outlets were not agreed too, which meant having an electrician come in after we moved in to add outlets. This would have been much easier before the drywall and painting were done. Overall, we are happy with the home. My experience was just fine.

I was asked for my passport and was told that this is needed by underwriter. My loan officer never talked to me about this. This is racial discrimination for me, I haven't been asked for my passport in any of my previous home buys. I am planning to file complaint with Consumer forum on this.

This is my second house with lennar. At the time of purchase agreement there is a promotion of 2.5 % off when you buy 2nd home with lennar but sales consultant refused the offer because I am using realtor. That’s totally unfair

Builder charge you more than others for the same kind of house in the neighborhood. Amenities like gym, swimming pool etc are missing. You have to tak permission even to plant trees/flowers. Water sprinkler missing. Blinds missing. Kitchen drawer bar missing. Patio mosquito net missing. Washer and dryer missing.

I am not happy about this process

Too many docusigns and different Lennar logins and people involved. Not fun at all. Should be easier process and one “go to person “ to contact.

This is my second home from Lennar . So I was fully aware of what I am getting into . When I put in an offer I was not even presented with a counter offer . That felt rude . Although the price what I offered was very close the sales in that neighborhood. Then I eventually they came back with offer after a month After you sign the contract they immediately move you to an customer advocate / coordinator by the emails we received it felt like it was more of slap in the wrist and a list of things you cannot do with bold letters . Don’t stop by to see the house .. . Less flexibility in terms of scheduling appointment Quality of craftsmanship is ok based on the price what you are getting . My first Lennar home we got GE appliances while now we get Frigidaire which might be lower grade Go with less expectations. ... More

Be careful what you sign up for.No flexibility on Lennars part.The home was well built.They tell you they will fix any thing but it’s at their time line.Love the area.No flexibility on when they will finish the house.If its beneficial to them,that’s when you have to close.The toughest part of the whole process was working with the lennar mortgage company. A nightmare. Otherwise,we’re happy we bought this home.

Quality of work could be better but overall okay.

Spent way too much for what I got. House is a mixed bag of nice amenities and cheap junk. It took way too long to finish.

Nice home, but terrible service.

The neighborhood project manager was a 10 but the rest of the process was average. I realize we are dealing with Covid so I can look past the delays. However, I was disappointed with lack of options. I also think every house in the neighborhood looks the same. There is no variety of color or style. It makes it look cheap. We need more brick, stone, hardy board, richer colors to make it pop and not make our neighbors looks dated

We are kind of disappointed in the craftsmanship in your home .its like they rushed to build it

We have been mostly pleased with the inside of the house but the outside is a mess... Sloppy workmanship and poor quality materials. We had siding boards peeling off of the house after the first month and have had to have the irrigation folks out four times to fix shoddy work.

Actual home and build quality is good. So far, no major complaints. The issue with Lennar is how they treat you once you close and move in. Despite multiple complaints, construction manager has done nothing to prevent construction crews from blocking my driveway for hours every day while other homes are being built. Dismissive attitude, stating “luckily they will be done soon” when I brought up that I can’t leave for work or I’m not getting packages due to blockage. Gaslighting me when I bring up issues like missing paint, air bubbles under flooring, etc. “Nothing is perfect” is the response. We’ll see how the 90 day repair submission goes, the list is long. Overall a decent builder, and only thing that’s affordable in my area due to lower interest rate/deals by Lennar. Happy with things for the most part, but don’t expect the service you received before they took your money. Secondly, Lennar mortgage was a MESS. If I didn’t stay on top of every little detail, and basically do the job of loan officer and underwriter, my close would have been delayed, and my mortgage payment would have been late. Quality is not great. Cheap materials used. Not satisfied with the purchase.

We love our home. However, the buying experience was a bit to be desired. The marketing materials when buying our home mentioned several smart devices that come with the homes. When we asked why ours didn’t, we were told they recently stopped providing them. However, all of our neighbors on our block received them. This makes it hard to know what to believe and put a bad taste in our mouth when moving in. These types of things should be communicated much better to avoid false expectations. Communication on remaining exterior work was also non existent and made it hard to anticipate. Overal, it was a 3/5 star experience. Construction crews are thugs. They broke windows, chipped doors, sheetrock and taping issues all over house. Construction quality is sub-par. Lennar corp people are great. They respond, repair and answer emails. Lennar warranty website is long, tedious and boring but at least the issues are addressed.
