My wife and I purchased our new home and from the first contact until we moved in the Lennar folks have been great. They are responsive, knowledgable, and willing to do what it takes to make our home look its best.

Being a first time home buyer i was worried about the whole process and Lennar team specially Lennar Mortagage made it very easy for me and were available each step to guide through the process. One thing i feel Lennar could do better is to give minimal customization option to buyers. I get it these customization add time to home delivery but smaller customization should be encouraged.

Overall wasn’t a bad experience buying the house 3 months of delays which is the times right now with all of the delays with materials. The fit and finish (the minor details) in my house were not the greatest I had to fix some things myself and few other things still not done. With how much I paid for this house I expect better.

I love the new house! It has been a great experience with the builder and realtor. They are both approachable and responsive throughout the whole process. I have truly appreciated this experience and the new complex.

We were out of state buyers and Maggie kept us updated with pictures through the entire process. Dave did the walk through and explained everything about our home. We would definitely recommend Lennar if you’re looking for a new home.

We were buying site unseen and Cody and Rick were absolutely wonderful! The whole process went very smooth. We would give them both a 10!!!! The thing that did disappoint us is some of the workmanship in our new home and also with the cleanliness of the home. I do understand some of it was because we moved in during the winter but still very disappointed.

Overall experience has been okay thus far - not great. MANY frustrations along the way and some very basic issues that should never have been problems in the first place.. Most issues are eventually addressed but responsiveness has often been poor. Most definitely room for improvement all the way around.

Very nice houses, however, it would be misleading if I did not mention the room for improvement. I have bought and sold a dozen houses over the last several years and had to pay fees with Lennar that I have never been asked to pay before. In addition to the fees I would expect the builder/seller to pay, it is fairly obvious that corners were cut in an effort to maximize profits. For example, the home only comes with one garage door opener, although there are 2 garage doors. Also, the driveways have a corner cut off in front of the third garage door, making parking in that spot a challenge if you have a larger vehicle. I have toured numerous Lennar model homes in the past and decided to purchase a new construction home with them. I signed the contract in 2021 and they unfortunately transitioned to an inventory system where you have no choice in a lot of the main features. This includes the front elevation type and color scheme. This applies to a lot of the other options as well. During the celebration and the early days after moving in, we noticed a lot of quality issues. Almost all of the door handles, some of the light switch plates, some of the floor vents were crooked. The installers did not even use a level. One side of the fireplace had the stones stacked in glaringly crooked manner. One of the front porch pillars had a large dent the size of a grapefruit. The garage door frames have a lot of dings and scratches. An electrical outlet was not working in the basement bathroom. The electrician admitted to an error in wiring which was not noticed during installation. The central vertical wooden corbel in the front of the house has a large crack. I don't know why it was installed in this condition. When we moved in, I was given the wrong garage door code. The garage itself was dusty and had dried grass and debris along the sides. There was not sod yet and it took a month for Lennar to clear the front yard area of construction debris and trash. It is unfortunate that when it was my turn to buy a Lennar home, I did not get the quality I expected. I was told the exterior issues will be addressed when the weather gets warmer. So far the experience has been positive with very easy remote online closing. This is our third Lennar home.

Horrible experience…we purchased home last April with move in date of September/October move in date. Lennar continue to push us back and back further and further with finally closing February 28th 2022.

From the minute we decided to go with Lennar at Cedar Hills, Kimberly was on the ball! She was informative, kind, and efficient. Throughout the entire homebuilding process, we were never out of the loop. We always had access to the site, and all our questions were always answered. It was actually a lot of fun visiting the site with our son who loves construction. Now we are in our home and we absolutely love it. It's spacious and open and beautifully designed inside and out. I really need to wait and see how the yard comes out before I can make a real recommendation. Still need some things inside done and outside

Very slow to get customer care response.

Can do a better job at responding to emails. Sent an email regarding my front windows and a follow up email a week after. It’s been 3.5 weeks and still yet no response.

Quality a bit disappointing. Waiting all day today for someone scheduled to come perform some fixes.

Loan officers were great and understanding!

My experience with Linnar in the process of purchasing a new home was so respectful and rewarding. The price paid was reasonable. The team is responsive and considerate! This is an excellent home builder!

It was a quick informative process, our house is perfect” thank you Stephanie” the construction is top notch”thank you Eric” and the loan process was straight forward with nothing hidden, “thank you Andy and Desserie”

They will lie to your face and tell you things that won’t happen ! Tammy who we had was extremely Rude ! To us every time she called and emailed us ! They are great actors ! They pretend to care but they really don’t ! They will not be truthful about material delays etc. They just avoid you ! Not a great experience ! I went to check on our house, And one of there employees took a crap in our toilet that had no water hooked up to it And they left it in there and stuck up the whole basement ! And they got mad at me for letting them know ! Be careful dealing with this Builder !

A big reason we chose to purchase a new home rather than an existing was because there's typically less competition. We weren't able to make a quick decision on an existing house before other offers were made and accepted, but with this new home from Lennar, we were able to avoid that and had time to think about this purchase and visit the model we were planning on buying. Working with our Lennar contacts (Rick and Chad) have been great, they're very knowledgeable and answer any and all questions. Even after the sale, I don't feel like we've been left in the wind, they're still very responsive. There are some minor details with the workmanship I wish could be better, mainly the nail holes in all the trim are visible, but that's the standard quality they offer. The carpet padding isn't as soft as I'd prefer, and we'd have chosen different kitchen appliances if we were buying them, the dishwasher feel cheap and the fridge isn't ideal. Other than those small items, it's great. Overall value is hard to judge, I feel that we did overpay, but not by an amount I'm uncomfortable with. Existing houses come with some extra's that aren't included, such as a deck, gutters, water softener, shades/blinds, none of which were included. I like to think of myself as a DIY guy, mostly because I'm too cheap to pay someone else to do something for me that I can do, and also that I do enjoy doing it, so deciding to buy a new home was a weird decision to come to, but I don't regret it. ... Communication was poor, document requirements not clear

The buying and building process was seamless. The construction manager was knowledgeable and provided gudiance through out the building process. Our home was ready on time, even in the midst of supplier chain issues.
