They will lie to your face and tell you things that won’t happen ! Tammy who we had was extremely Rude ! To us every time she called and emailed us ! They are great actors ! They pretend to care but they really don’t ! They will not be truthful about material delays etc. They just avoid you ! Not a great experience ! I went to check on our house, And one of there employees took a crap in our toilet that had no water hooked up to it And they left it in there and stuck up the whole basement ! And they got mad at me for letting them know ! Be careful dealing with this Builder !

A big reason we chose to purchase a new home rather than an existing was because there's typically less competition. We weren't able to make a quick decision on an existing house before other offers were made and accepted, but with this new home from Lennar, we were able to avoid that and had time to think about this purchase and visit the model we were planning on buying. Possibly the worst experience I have ever had. It was exhausting and heartbreaking. The sales rep was unsympathetic and gaslit me multiple times before closing. When people do not care about their jobs, it truly impacts others.

During the build process, Lennar did a great job of communicating the process via a weekly email. Unfortunately, beyond anyone control, the process took way too long. The impact of Covid-19 on the build was huge. Materials like windows seem to take forever to arrive. Matt and Tina were very good and providing updates. I have built many homes in the past. The overall workmanship on this home is average. There have been many minor issues that we found after we moved it. Delay is build may be common for builder, but that cost buyer a higher mortgage rate. That is not it, if house is closed with pending lawn work money to be deposited to escrow is buyer responsibility if buyer don't go with builder recommended lender, so kind of CHEAP trap.

We have had a very poor experience with buying our new home. On our final walk through we still had significant issues with crooked walls, terrible paint/mud/taping. We walked through the house with the teams multiple times pointing out the issues, and they were attempted to be fixed multiple times but still the same bad quality. Finally the crews were changed but we still had to take matters into our own hands and attempt to repair problematic areas ourselves. This resulted in finding slanted framing and exposed electrical. Willingness to always be there for any questions/issues you may have. Thorough in walking you through the steps and stages, from signing to closing. Pam, Tim, Blake and the team at L.C have been wonderful to work with. A big Nationwide builder (which can bring scepticism) - but cannot be denied that they have their sh*t together. Initial meeting with sales rep was great. Told about 6 months to build. When signing purchase agreement, $10,000 was added to cost of lot and a tentative closing date of 8 months out. Although they really didn’t give a reason, I sensed they didn’t want to lock in a lower price knowing that it would take longer to build during supply chain shortage and labor issues. Actual closing date was backed up twice and ended up being 9 months and 2 weeks after singing purchase agreement. The workmanship and cleaning is not good as expected, the design changes were not informed and when asked, no good responses. Lot of gaps, nail spots in wood works, didnt provide a great feeling of job well done ! .. The trust about the builder went down !

I appreciate there are challenges with material and labor shortages, so while we experienced these, I would not hold Lennar responsible for these. Also, the local people we worked with (sales manager, construction manager) were great! However, it was clear throughout the process that Lennar is a large corporation and the customer experience is not valued. During the selection process, many styles were unavailable, options were changed without notice, and for many selections, visuals were not available leaving us to make decisions based on descriptions. They don’t give you the option to make any changes or upgrades. The walls are so tiny, like cardboard . Still, some work needs to be done. Thou that is understandable because of the supplies shortage. The water heater was misplaced, the doorbell wasn’t working, but the good thing is that they fix it. Other than that and overly satisfied.
