Our sales rep, Shannon, was the highlight of our experience. What a bubble! She kept us informed of the progress of the house. Our Lennar mortgage lender was very very helpful, but the advent of electronic signatures and the overwhelming number of emails made it a bit burdensome. Our problem came with the quality control. Much of the work was sloppy with obvious oversight from quality control supervisors. Our air conditioning wasn’t working. It turns out there was no power attached to it. Who signed this off that it was working properly? Surely, it must’ve been checked on a checklist. I’ve sliced the bottom of my feet multiple times where the carpet meets tile because the teeth that hold the carpet in place weren’t tamped down. Some doors are very difficult to open and close. Two rooms in the house are unable to be adequately cooled even with every other vent in the house closed off. There was paint, adhesive and cement all over our front porch. It’s taking multiple calls to address this, and it’s still not done. The garage trim is a complete disaster with pieces missing, visual defects, and foot print stains on many of the pieces from where the workers stepped on them. This is still not been remedied. If these obvious things are overlooked, what has not been done right in places that we can’t see? It’s a pretty house, but I would never recommend Lennar to a friend who was a potential buyer. ... It's hardly 3 months since moved into our brand new home and I'm noticing structural issues already (loose railings, floor panels). The quality of the work is nowhere near the price we paid.

Lennar has been telling dates that they themselves know they can't achieve. They have been changing dates after signing the purchase agreement. This is a malpractice. They still don't have nay control on their supply chain or vendors. They have been cutting corners on quality.

Overall, we are happy with our new home purchase, but we found many of Lennar's people operate with a lack of professionalism. They are not particularly responsive, they are often rude, and they do not hold a particularly high bar for quality.

Experience with Lennar a 3 rating and that’s being generous.

Though the overall buying experience was ok, there are poor quality workmanship including a big chip of wood lost in the main door near the lock. Shocked how a big builder like Lennar could miss such basic quality checks.

Not good quality of materials

The cosmetic issues were half fixed prior to closing. After living in the house you see so many more things that need to be fixed. When putting in a work order I was told to wait for the 11 month review. I am not convienced that things will be taken care of timely.

For the money spent, I am disappointed. Issues range from customer service to craftsmanship

The sales representatives were amazing and were able to answer most if not all questions we had. They really are a good resource to have. Construction on the other hand needs a huge lift in the attention to detail and pride in their work. Although not the construction mangers fault, and he helped out as much as he could, it was evident that the laborers were just there to go through the motion and could care less about the quality in their work because it wouldn't be their problem once they left, to list a few things: 1. We found garbage in our home, and we just closed on it 2. Painter tape on the floor, which must've been missed by cleaners 3. Blatantly missed blue tape items, some of which will never be fixed until I decide I'm sick of looking at it 4. Broken Garage door (took 2 weeks post close to have this fixed) 5. Broken doorbell (took 3 weeks post close to have this fixed) 6. Garbage disposal had a nail in it, which broke it 7. Hardware installed with lack of care (things are not level, and its very noticeable) 8. Blemishes on front and mud room garage door because they installed our permeant doors instead of using construction doors during the build. 9. evident that the cleaners never showed up... construction dust on counters and in sinks, no vacuum marks on carpet areas There's more, but what's the point? Would I build with Lennar again, maybe... The house is nice, the location is nice, the process was easy, but some things make me hesitant... ... More

Quality a bit disappointing. Waiting all day today for someone scheduled to come perform some fixes.

We have issues with practically everything in our house.

Very poor workmanship, we felt some of the contractors did not take pride in their work (ceiling with flat spots, tape joints visible, paint on carpet, crooked walls, door trim that doesn't align, all trim nail holes are very visible, crooked fireplace stones, and more. There are multiple issues that need to be fixed, replaced or redone. Also poor communication between sales team and us, were told different closing date and pushed out two months.

Pay the extra 50-100k for better workmanship, materials, and construction management with a different builder. Everywhere we look my wife, myself, and guest see examples of poor craftmanship. I don't know who was overseeing the quality of this build but they need training. The standard was set low. I have and will continue to share this sentiment with anyone who asks about the home

The disparity of supply and installation in homes in the same community is high, the prize was ever increasing though

Need more quality material and proper finishing. Lots of gaps in back yard fencing where manager trying his best to resolve. But should taken care initially itself. 1. Window are not sound proof at least there are should stop small sound from out side. 2. Wood finishing is very cheap and work is not upto mark. 3. No proper updates on plans and schedule on pending work to be completed. 4. Lennar should have provided small change options in interior which make more difference from customer point of view. 5 . This is my third new home built. This is by far the worst one. The walls are very uneven the painters are of poor quality. Several things need to be fixed. Not sure if I would recommend lennar

The purchasing experience of my townhouse was fine. The quality of my townhouse is not good. Very sketchy. I have submitted SO many tickets for service to correct issues that it’s becoming a weekly habit and a part time job. This is not what I signed up for. I’ve become the general contractor to repair so many things that it totally diminishes the quality of product Lennar sells. My realtor warned me about Lennar and I should have listened. Now here I sit with a defective house that needs so much work and the smallest thing, like mowing the lawn doesn’t even get done! I’m disgusted and wish I would not have purchased a Lennar home! ... Quality issues with almost everything. No transparency from the construction manager and overall no good communication. Lennar’s standard is much lower than it should be and even though the work is done it is not quality. Anywhere they can they are trying to cut corners to save money and try and just do “good enough” work. Even though their work is clearly sub-par. Yes our house is completed and yes we are happy in our home but Lennar’s quality control is lacking, their honesty and transparency is sub-par at best.

Not worth your time. They to get everything done. A lot of dings on all the doors, cabinets and cabinets doors. The material that they use is really cheap. They take t there time to come by the fix there mistake. Overall it has been not good experience for my wife and I.

Quality is not good for the price that we gave

Countless problems with everything from landscaping, driveway, fireplace, interior doors, door handles, very cheap patio door and windows, insects, cost cutting changes that were unacceptable, home not clean on move-in day, etc. The problems are endless and the list is too long. Very frustrating. Purchasing this home has turned out to be an expensive mistake. The homes are not ready to be lived in and are being built extremely quickly. Once you close, the customer service is terrible.

The people were nice enough… but had many issues with quality of the work performed. Many challenges trying to get the issues fixed/resolved. Installed faulty wiring so my internet has. It worked properly since I moved in and I work from home to imperative it be working properly. No help from Lennar… they put it off on other and tell me I need to contact warranty to fix… dishwasher, washer machine, Wifi all not working. Took a very long time for some resolution. Been in house almost 3 months and believe internet was worked on/off for a total of 2 weeks.

It was a good process.

Let me start off by first stating that we LOVE our new home. The quality and craftsmanship of the actual house are amazing. Bryan and his crew did a great job building the house. There was very little that we found that needed to be fixed during our final walkthrough, and the final product is gorgeous. The rest of the process was an absolute disaster. Lennar Sales(Alan), Title and Mortgage (Cody and Judith) were unorganized, a pain to work with, horrible at communicating, and overall they did a terrible job, and I wouldn't wish that process on anyone. Lennar provides a portal for you to upload any documentation they need from you. We uploaded paperwork the day they requested, then a month later they would email stating they couldn't find said paperwork and ask for us to send it again. We would then have to re-submit the same paperwork, and then they would find the original stuff we uploaded. This happened several times, and it was extremely frustrating. There were countless email back and forth, and everything they requested was always URGENT, and needed to be done immediately, but it was all stuff that had been submitted previously. They ruined the entire process and it was extremely stressful. The actual closing process was wonderful. They sent most of the documentation to us via docusign before closing, and we were able to read and sign probably 75% before we actually went to closing. We closed in person, and they were very kind, polite, and very organized. The closing process was easy and quick. We were in and out within 30 min. If you can handle the headache of dealing with Title and Mortgage, and your sales team in invested on keeping you updated, then by all means, go with Lennar. The final product is amazing and we absolutely love our new house, but the rest left a LOT to be desired. ... More
