Lennar made their integrated process with builder, title and lender both competitive, quick and easy to work with. I shopped around but ended up with Lennar as best for all three.

We enjoyed the process. The sales agent was very welcoming and knowledgeable. The closing day was longer than usual but the misunderstanding was cleared and we finally closed the same day. The meetings with the house manager were very helpful.

Unfortunately, my home buying process did not go as planned. As soon as you sign the purchase agreement with Lennar you become nothing to them. Questions were not answered, meetings were not scheduled and therefore missed, and items were different on the house compared to purchase agreement and photos shown. The pre-approval process with Lennar mortgage was seamless, but then as closing got closer communication took a turn. I emailed twice 2-3 weeks leading up to closing, they responded saying they’d be in contact the week of closing. 48 hours before they sent me the statement and wire ...

Very happy with Lennar workmanship and layout. I had no idea how responsive the Lennar Customer Care Group would be with new home problems......nothing short of OUTSTANDING! Three issues were addressed within 36hrs. One corrected by a phone call. Roofing issue 24hrs and fixed, Faulty Wiring troubleshooting 36hrs (not Lennar, but to a new Clothes Dryer issue). My priority became Customer Cares priority and we really appreciate that.

Lennar is primary controlled by Vanguard, Blackrock, and Fidelity. Investment companies, whose goal is to sell as many units at the lowest quality to gain lowest cost to drive up prices of housing. The home we are in is overpriced by $200k for the quality installed.

This home feels like a dream for us. I always wanted to buy a home in Spancer hill once it was launched. I am happy with this home but I believe this home has been super rushed. Finishing is poor. Every appliance has some issue or the other. The most concerning is the insulation in my kids room and the master bath where temperature goes down at 61F with a thermostat of 70F. I have raised it to customer service team. Hope it’s resolved to my satisfaction and I can come back and review again.

Confusing, cumbersome, exhausting finance & closing process

I purchased a new Lennar home and used Lennar finance/closing company. During the process I was required to register 3 seperate portals; building, finance and closing. During the process I recieved over 200 emails from Lennar employees. I have purchased several homes in the past and have never experienced this lack of communication/confusion that I did between Lennar employees. There is no reason company of this size can not streamline their process and make it more simplistic for the customer. I would never use Lennar finance/closing company again.

There were some painting issues that were somewhat small but quite visible. Baseboards that were painted but when the nail holes were filled they were done poorly and are quite visible in some areas and the color doesn’t match. Overall, I do love my new home except for that.

Hire an independent inspector prior to closing to avoid the long delays on items discovered after closing. Note that you sign away some warranty coverage required by state to you disadvantage and to Lennar's advantage.
