We have warranty items that have been identified to Lennar to be fixed. Some items like exterior doors that let air come through the threshold. This is a critical defect that is making our energy cost spike that has yet to be fixed. We have to keep rugs in front of the doors to keep our heat in. Other items have yet to be given an estimated time of completion.

I thought it was the right think to do to move into a new Lennar home. I bought a model that had been finished. I do appreciate the finishes in this price range and the layout and design. I had the home inspected. They resolved a couple items found on inspection including an outlet that should have been GCFI, but was not. However, since taking ownership, I have been finding defects in the home. Fiber Internet built into the home that didn't work. Worst sales and concierge personnel to work with!

Don't work with Jennifer in sales and Whitney in the concierge dept unless you want a headache! Stay away from Lennar mortgage. Whitney is an untrustworthy person, they are not worth the headache.

Beginning the day you buy if you have a problem with something such as an unused appliance it has to go through a complicated warranty process. The warranty process made me produce confidential closing papers to prove I, not Lennar owned the appliance. I had issues with two appliances on day 1.

Lack of flexibility to make minor changes to things as simple as the color of wall paint was frustrating. Bathroom fixtures didn’t match drawer pulls, ceilings were not painted, etc.

Blatant disregard for owners once sale is made

Actual home and build quality is good. So far, no major complaints. The issue with Lennar is how they treat you once you close and move in. Despite multiple complaints, construction manager has done nothing to prevent construction crews from blocking my driveway for hours every day while other homes are being built. Dismissive attitude, stating “luckily they will be done soon” when I brought up that I can’t leave for work or I’m not getting packages due to blockage. Gaslighting me when I bring up issues like missing paint, air bubbles under flooring, etc. “Nothing is perfect” is the response. ...

Lennar hasn’t made this a great experience from the beginning. Why not just hire a company to do things right the first time, right? Our home needed many repairs right away, and it took quite a few attempts to get it corrected. We had taken multiple days off of work, to have nobody show up to our house to fix the issues. The closing was also less than expected. They were still asking for us to submit documentation post closing.. sounds like they didn’t have their ducks in a row-right? I would not recommend Lennar to anyone looking to buy a house.

Multiple issues when I moved in but after communicating with lennar they scheduled people to come fix the issues. Paint left on floors, lights, door frames, screen door was broke also kitchen cabinet was broke.

Very unpleased with how things turned out for what we paid. After close it became evident the craftsmanship in the molding in the “Designer Plus” package, the drywall work, and painting was not what I expected for the price we paid for the home. It’s evident Lennar is focused on turning and closing homes quickly and letting many of the details go by the wayside. If I could do it over again- I would pay more money for a smaller builder who cares about more than a buck.

Hi I have started with short period liked the house. Initiated all process on loan and negotiation. They put home of the week for the less price with discount and when we were talking to finalize. They came up with increasing prices. They play a lot of tricks and look for what most benefits to them. They offer very less interest rates to many customers but they don't disclose. They accidentally exposed in one email and they covered up.
