Lennar has long experience as a builder and their communities are fine. One thing to know about however, is that while Lennar will do a fine job of providing their own agent for the purchase, that agent works for them, not you. You will probably get better terms in the closing cost if you bring your own agent (fiduciary) with you. Another tip is to be polite to the actual salesman handling your transaction and get to know his or her assistant. The Lennar salesman will seldom, if ever, respond to your questions or email. Looking at single story homes and found a home at Talamore community but wanted the same home in Black Mountain Ranch. Walked into the first Pioneet model and fell in love with it and made offer and accepted all with 3 hrs time from seeing it to prequalifying and accepting offer. Very quick and fast process. Love lennar homes.

Easy Purchasing Process

During the initial process of purchasing, the process was easy and seamless. We were able to purchase the home from out of state since most of the transaction was completed online. We did experience some issues, however, it was nothing to major that prevented us from completing the transaction. The home is beautiful, however, the materials used could’ve been better. The walls are thin, baseboards throughout the house were not properly cut and the paint is easily scuffed.

Not customer service at all in any department. The materials and accessories that they used are the cheapest . I saw the blinds that they put in a $750.000 house at Walmart for $15.00 . Chrome fixtures the cheapest. We knew what we were buying but we didn’t realize how bad it was.

Overall I've had a decent experience. There were a few miscommunications at the design center, however, it was worked out in the end. When paying over a 1/2 million dollars for a house, I do expect the craftmanship to be better. Uneven drywall, corners, scratches on surfaces like your countertops and flooring were all minor but noticeable after living in the home for a period of time. There were a few issues that resulted in warranty repair and I have to say the lightening speed response is what makes the overall process much better. Nobody answers the calls or messages after their step completes. Their simple response is I dont know.

We have had a great experience with the staff. Shay, Alicia, and Doug are exceptional employees. They are attentive and helpful. I have submitted a few warranty claims since moving in over a month ago. The Lennar staff are communicative, punctual, and fix the issues swiftly. My only quaim is the build quality of my home is not what I expect for the price.

Doors are not hung properly

I have been experiencing lots of issues with the doors at my house in addition to a drawer in the kitchen that won't close properly from the first time I opened it. This is my first time purchasing a new home. Maybe this is normal. I did contact customer services regarding these issues and they responded immediately. They put me in contact with my representative and an appointment was made by him to have someone come out to make repairs. I am hopeful that when that time comes around all repairs will be made to my satisfaction.

Lennar want to build as fast as possible with really no details to finish work. You can really tell they build it fast and sell them as quick as possible and then deal with issues later. Seems to me they would take a little more pride in there product and make sure the home is completed and clean before walking homes with clients. Moved in little over 2 months ago and still roof flashing is painted 3 different colors or not even painted at all on sections. Stucco is uneven and makes walls not straight. So much more but just be careful when buying homes I'm sure they all have different ...
