This is the strangest homebuying experience I’ve ever had. Admittedly, I’ve never purchased a brand new home before, but I’ve never had so much miscommunication/misrepresentation(?) in a business deal before. While every person that I have worked with at Lennar has been nice and (seemingly) helpful, I constantly got incorrect information and made decisions based on that incorrect information. The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing - as they say. Particularly problematic were the people in the mortgage department but the issue is across-the-board. Meritage Homes purchasing in Arizona experience was 10x better overall.

Christina in the loan department was very much a professional she responded when questions were not necessary in her area. She forwarded to the correct person. Everyone in the process were all very helpvul and approachable,

All representatives for Lennar were great. The exception is the loan process. I understand policy and procedures. But the lack of attention to detail and accountability caused a lot of stress. My loan was approved the day before I had to vacate my apartment and started my new job. I supplied documents that were submitted multiple times...emails, pay slips...Other than that everything else was handled professionally.

There was a glass breakage issue. Bathroom tiles had cracks.

I had an amazing experience buying my first new home with Lennar. Thank you all!

Love our house. The Lennar team has been great fixing the little things on the punch list.

You know what, I've typed this review out a couple of times already and at this point I'm sick of talking about it, writing about, complaining about it to people that don't seem to care. I'm now stuck with a half a million dollar home and I don't trust anything in the closed walls. Just make sure you do your research, read reviews etc for Lennar. Its the build of the home itself, the subcontractors, and whoever else worked on it and tried hiding problems that I continue to find.

Our whole buying experience with Lennar was the best from start to finish everyone involved was informative and very helpful. We highly recommend your next purchase for a home be a Lennar home!

Mostly favorable reviews of everyone involved. Answers to some questions where not as timely as they should have been, otherwise everything was very good.

Overall we were not happy at all. Lennar is a bottom line driven company with little or no concern for customer satisfaction. We would never build another Lennar home.

I did not realize how poor quality the units were and need of work. I had just sold my home in Sun City Anthem and was in a hurry to find something to move into. If I had more time I would have not picked Terra Bella at Anthem.

Worst buying process in town, from begining to end of the process

I am not technologically sophisticated. I have found reporting and following up confusing, frustrating, and non-productive. There also were an exorbitant number of problems.

No cold water Just hot or warm The circuit breakers are low voltage I can’t not plugged the treadmill on the outlet because breakers start tripping

Sloppy work. Paint drops prevalent throughout home. Appliances included were very low quality.

Our previous home was built new by another builder. Lennar is totally professional and delivers a great product. Minor issues at closing, but Lennar’s team from construction manager and assistant to warranty team corrected issues promptly and at our convenience. Sales team, Ethan in particular, was a true professional and understood all our needs. Thank You Lennar

My experience was very good. We began with a rough start, but it ended very well.

The product Lennar offers includes more than other builders. But I can’t believe that we got cheap hollow doors, builder grade mirrors and closets and other base level options for a 1.5 million dollar house, and no option to leave them out if you want to upgrade. Plus, we have had water damage and a leak over a month and it’s still not fixed. Not terribly impressed.

Found a discrepancy square footage for Model C between what was posted in the model home (1511 sq ft) vs the Tax Star (1549 sq ft). Messaged the sales department, received no answer.

Bought a brand new beautiful spacious 2 bedroom townhome with a huge loft and 2 and a half baths. We have an outdoor covered patio and two large balconies on the second level. There are two master bedrooms on the second floor which have plenty of room and a nice walk in closet. It’s a beautiful townhouse inside and out. The garage can hold a SUV and a sedan. The kitchen is beautiful and there’s a walk in pantry with plenty of shelves for access storage. Can’t hear my next door neighbors at all. I used Lennar’s home loan mortgage company and the process was excellent from beginning to end. We love our new home. It’s located in a beautiful community. Extra shout out to my real estate agent Rebecca for telling me to come look at these new homes. At first I wasn’t interested but after spending weeks not finding anything they caught my eye she suggested I come out and have a look at these new townhomes in person. And I’m glad she did. This house has everything we wanted in a home. Lennar’s construction manager Tatum was with us every step of the way during the home built and gave plenty of helpful info/advice to keep our house in tip top shape. So thankful for the advice she gave. Ethan is Lennar’s sales person. He along with Tatum provided outstanding service. And if you’re in need of a home mortgage I would definitely recommend you talk to Jannet in Lennar’s home loan department. Definitely would recommend Lennar if you’re searching for a beautiful home. ... More
