Mostly favorable reviews of everyone involved. Answers to some questions where not as timely as they should have been, otherwise everything was very good.

Overall we were not happy at all. Lennar is a bottom line driven company with little or no concern for customer satisfaction. We would never build another Lennar home.

I did not realize how poor quality the units were and need of work. I had just sold my home in Sun City Anthem and was in a hurry to find something to move into. If I had more time I would have not picked Terra Bella at Anthem.

Worst buying process in town, from begining to end of the process

I am not technologically sophisticated. I have found reporting and following up confusing, frustrating, and non-productive. There also were an exorbitant number of problems.

No cold water Just hot or warm The circuit breakers are low voltage I can’t not plugged the treadmill on the outlet because breakers start tripping

Sloppy work. Paint drops prevalent throughout home. Appliances included were very low quality.

Our previous home was built new by another builder. Lennar is totally professional and delivers a great product. Minor issues at closing, but Lennar’s team from construction manager and assistant to warranty team corrected issues promptly and at our convenience. Sales team, Ethan in particular, was a true professional and understood all our needs. Thank You Lennar

My experience was very good. We began with a rough start, but it ended very well.

The product Lennar offers includes more than other builders. But I can’t believe that we got cheap hollow doors, builder grade mirrors and closets and other base level options for a 1.5 million dollar house, and no option to leave them out if you want to upgrade. Plus, we have had water damage and a leak over a month and it’s still not fixed. Not terribly impressed.

Found a discrepancy square footage for Model C between what was posted in the model home (1511 sq ft) vs the Tax Star (1549 sq ft). Messaged the sales department, received no answer.

Bought a brand new beautiful spacious 2 bedroom townhome with a huge loft and 2 and a half baths. We have an outdoor covered patio and two large balconies on the second level. There are two master bedrooms on the second floor which have plenty of room and a nice walk in closet. It’s a beautiful townhouse inside and out. The garage can hold a SUV and a sedan. The kitchen is beautiful and there’s a walk in pantry with plenty of shelves for access storage. Can’t hear my next door neighbors at all. I used Lennar’s home loan mortgage company and the process was excellent from beginning to end. We love our new home. It’s located in a beautiful community. Extra shout out to my real estate agent Rebecca for telling me to come look at these new homes. At first I wasn’t interested but after spending weeks not finding anything they caught my eye she suggested I come out and have a look at these new townhomes in person. And I’m glad she did. This house has everything we wanted in a home. Lennar’s construction manager Tatum was with us every step of the way during the home built and gave plenty of helpful info/advice to keep our house in tip top shape. So thankful for the advice she gave. Ethan is Lennar’s sales person. He along with Tatum provided outstanding service. And if you’re in need of a home mortgage I would definitely recommend you talk to Jannet in Lennar’s home loan department. These are my personal opinion and experience and may be the exception. The new appliances that came with the unit was not of great value. Had refrigerator break down (lost frozen food) and dryer not functioning as it should. Called repair service under warrenty but parts took 2 weeks delivery. Purchased another brand.

Had a walkthrough called the celebration where we wrote certain things down to be fixed and repaired around the home, and never did get all are checklist taken care of.

I've built several homes in the past with different builders. When I was considering my home purchase this time, Lennar was on the short list with a good reputation. From the start, they were very nice and repeating soo frequently how they care about their buyers and always focus on providing a quality home. Unfortunately their actions did not line up with their words very often from my experience. From improper storage of building materials and refusing to remedy to non-stop problems after completion. The front line people were great, extremely friendly and easy to work with. The upper management's response to issues were often "we're done doing that" and some of the contractors they hired were very difficult to work with and not wanting to fix problems. During the hottest part of the summer, I believe it was 5+ visits in order to just get a functioning HVAC that wouldn't break a day or two later and the contractor was originally refusing to fix it so it met code until I insisted. It's still not 100%, but it's a lot better now. Damaged shower that needs repair? That'll be at least a month to get someone out to work on it. All those things that were marked during the final walk throughs? Some of them got fixed...others ignored until I raised another ticket. Insulation installed as per required code? No, supposedly fixed, but it's not and I'm about to raise another ticket. Very sad because I was very much looking forward to a quality home build, but it appears I might have a properly completed and functional home a year later, I hope ... More

Good bargain and great incentives offset the high interest rates, thus equalize the low affordability issue.

Had constant issues with Lennar Mortgage. They were not reliable in responding to messaging. When it came time to close, they were still dragging their feet on fixing issues that had been known for months. The construction team has been great in response to warranty issues but there’s no reason it should not have been done prior to closing. The amount of blue tape issues that were not corrected or were brushed under the rug are not great. We love our home, but I would not buy with Lennar again.

We knew upfront the home was overpriced, but found its size and views very appealing. However, many defects were detected during our “blue tape” walkthrough — way too many for a brand new home, which should have been a red flag to us that workmanship was a big issue. After moving into the home we quickly learned how “sub-standard” most of the appliances, fixtures, and workmanship were. The dishwasher, washer, and dryer were mediocre at best, and all had to be replaced due to being loud and annoying. All 3 toilets were replaced. Light fixtures are cheap and their placements are not logical. Most faucets are cheap, with some (kitchen faucet and laundry) being chrome over plastic. We have now spent an excessive amount of money just to bring the home’s quality and workmanship in-line with its initial advertised value. Bottomline: our biggest concern is workmanship and value for money. Our future NEW home purchases will not include Lennar. ... More

Overall, my experience with Lennar was disappointing and unnecessarily challenging. I had heard great things about the company, however, it seems like they have made a lot of changes, especially within the last five years. The most difficult part of the process was Lennar mortgage. We had a very challenging time getting responses and information in a timely manner if at all. Long story short, I actually kept a separate spreadsheet to keep track of the amount of document errors that had to be corrected and follow up emails/phone calls that were made without responses back from the staff at Lennar. Working with the construction side was actually the least challenging, as they tended to respond quickly and follow up on any requests in a timely manner. Due to my experience with most of the departments within Lennar, I am deterred from working with them in the future and recommend others do thorough research before considering working with them at this time. ... I love my lennar home! There is some issues moving in due to the communication and wasn't even informed about the next step of moving to the new property which is quite disappointing but overall it's a great place to live!

Will never buy another subpar product from Lennar. Poor quality, poor construction, poor execution. Don’t fall for the trick that everything will be fixed post closing. Walk away or trust me don’t get involved in this fiasco. Talked with 3 neighbors who experienced the same issues. This is just plain poor business practice and flat our wrong. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company; wish I did.
