It was a good experience.

There were a lot of materials that were installed in my new home that weren’t properly covered up or cared for as other trades came through the home to finish other items. My brand new floors have been worked on 3+ times already and are still wrong. Paint was everywhere: on the floors, on my brand new upgraded counter tops, and all over my driveway. So many things have needed to be fixed that the first month in my new home I had a contractor visit practically every other day. It’s hard to believe I’m paying almost half a million dollars to have floors with permanent paint and glue residue all over them, not to forget that they are also not level in some areas, among other things. As a first time homebuyer, this experience was very stressful. Really not sure I’ll be doing a new build again after this. This is not to say I don’t love my new home and the awesome appliances and what not, but the overall experience with the lender and the workmanship was not satisfactory to be fully honest. Lennar did not miss a beat through every step of our home building experience. They have been quick to respond with every aspect of the buying a home beginning with sales, loan, building and now with the after care. We have been very impressed and highly recommend the Lennar building team.

Delayed closing caused me to extend my rental. On the day of closing my Salesperson was delayed with my keys and it caused the movers to hold my furniture on their truck for 3 hours extra. He knew we needed to close on Dec 15th. All the paperwork was signed, bank rep knew closing was on the 15th The construction crew tapped into my electricity on three different occasions. It wasn't until 1 week later that a sign was placed In front of our home that it was owner occupied.

This is our first new home in quite sometime, and the whole experience from sales to the fast response to our new home after move in. We are so happy with our new Townhome and very happy with Lennar.

Lennar sold our house to us and then sold the loan without letting us know until several days after the sale. They keep communicating with us even though we no longer have a business relationship.

It was great pleasure working with all team members of Lennar .

Let me just say the only person that helped in this whole transaction was Celia. The worst experience was Lennar Mortgage (Christina Z), will NEVER recommend this lender and especially Christina! Dave the "walk through" guy was horrible!!! We never got a proper walk, unless you call a 6 minute walk proper? We were left figuring out how to work everything and search for instructions, still don't have the a/c warranty after asking more than three times... Still going through problems from lies told by Lennar. NEVER WILL RECOMMEND THIS BUILDER/LENDER!!!!!!!

Quick, accurate and thorough response to all issues and questions. Care and concern for all potential homebuyers. Completely accommodating to those who have problems with a manufacturer or any of the trades. Lennar has become a trusted brand and serious competitor in the home building industry.

The idea behind the new Reverie community was well thought out and achieved the goal the design team planned. The build quality is poor as there is not a straight wall in the home. For the dollar to delivered value Lennar was the real winner not the home buyer. Not really sure if it is even possible to purchase less quality materials. An excellent example is the guest bathroom shower stall and tub, a cheap fiberglass job with multiple fractures in the material. If I said you could see daylight from all corners of the front door would you believe me. The real challenge Lennar had with this home build was the quality of its sub contractors. Until Lennar can find and hire true professional teams to build these home they will be plagued by these problems. You will not hear from me again unless the foundation breaks as I have hired a team of contractors to straighten and rebuild this new Lennar home. ... More

Slow response to service requests

Over the course of construction we had seen things being done two and three times. The paperwork side also flawed with many errors. Things are starting to get dealt with as long as we initiate our concerns. Our sales agent Jonathan was very responsive. Our concierge is not. The workers have no respect for the property or the security as they come and go and leave the gates open and big messes. We’ll see if our furnace issue is resolved to determine our ultimate review.

While I am happy with the home itself, the homebuying experience with the Lennar team was less than average. There seems to be a disconnect between all departments within the sales process; from sales to project management to concierge services and then the walkthrough team. Anytime there was something that needed to be corrected or followed-up, each person I would talk with would say someone else on the team should have handled that, but would never take ownership in ensuring things were rectified. Terrible project management that ultimately led to the home closing being pushed back 3 times. I'd like to reiterate that I'm happy with the house, but the homebuying process with Lennar was one of the worst I've experienced. ... More

First purchased home ever, I went with Lennar. For the price of this lovely home & the view I get I can’t complain. Simple & nice. Love the modern look of it. Just feels good being in my own home instead of renting. The sales lady who helped me get this home has been amazing. Thank you Jeanna.

Basically all these should be 1 or 2s. Only reason I gave more is I got a deal. Only one person deserves five stars in the whole process and that’s my loan officer. My cons was a still amazingly dirty to the point I actually missed stuff on my walk through that were damage. Having plaster everywhere. I have to get on my hands and knees to clean my flooring cause it has paint and plaster on verywhere and I have to scrub it out the groves. I had one 2 min phone call from Title. I had to call my loan officer to find out I closed. Then mortgage didn’t have the decency to call me when they sold the loan cause it was too late. I got the paperwork from the other mortgage company 2 weeks before I got anything from lennar. And by the time I got it from them and realized I owed one payment to lennar it was past due already. Received it after the due date. A phone call would have helped that it would have been a 2 min phone call hey calling you to let you know all this is happening and what to expect I know we are a little late on paperwork but it’s coming. ... Superintendent, Sales, and Financing folks were all very helpful and on top of it. Responded quickly to any questions asked.

I could not have asked for a more incredible experience for my first time buying a home. Everyone I worked with at Lennar - Laila, Jamie, Sean, Wayne, Vince, and Mallory have been amazing. Super responsive, accommodating, and all around just great people to get to interact with. I am so grateful!

Our move in was hugely disappointing and challenging. Elevator to our third floor condo not working for several days. No hot water for several days. Dishwasher not working, furnace very loud, can hear people on staircase. No insulation?

All of the people we interacted with great. From our sales person Jamiel to the construction team, Sherri, Ceaser and John. All were caring and patient with all our questions. Again, Jon, our customer service representative always follows up on everything and makes us feel like we are the only ones he is helping.

First, the good. Lennar's model homes in the Emerson Palmer community in Henderson look great. The bad...the house we bought was NOT built with the same QUALITY as the model homes. Blame it on the pandemic, supply chain shortages, and worker shortages I guess. But the construction and quality of the house were terrible. I hired a home inspector and he found over 50 defects both inside and outside of the house. Lennar was in such as rush to build their houses that they sacrificed quality control to save money and to meet their deadlines. Big inconvenience to the home buyer if you really want the house. Lennar attempted to fix most of the issues but a lot of defects were still present at the time of closing. You always have the option to walk away before close but then you lose your deposit. Which is an advantage for Lennar. The sad part about the whole experience is that Lennar never admitted that there were any issues with the house. They left it up to me to find the issues. And of course, after the close, we found more issues. However, Lennar's customer service was fairly prompt in fixing most of the new issues. It appears that Lennar hired low-cost workers with very few skills to build their houses. But I have no proof of that. Customer Service and trades have been subpar. I was scheduled to two appointments by different trade. They do not show up and I didn’t receive call. Been in my home since October and. I still waiting on door locks BBC and weatherstrip
