I had two significant plumbing leaks after moving in. Customer service was very responsive but it was especially inconvenient to have contractors in and out of home for over three weeks for repairs. That was in addition to basic paint/cabinet repairs to address poor workmanship. I was expecting better quality for the price.

As a first time buyer in CA the process exceeded my expectation. It was very smooth and all were so helpful and patience with me all throughout. They are very knowledgeable and gave me an answer on all my questions in a very short period of time.

My overall description of the house would be shoddy workmanship. I am regretting the purchase more each day. Getting repairs done is a long term nuisance and dealing with the HOA is a nightmare.

Deal with buyers more on. Personal level rather thru the internet. Did not like that

I was told to contact Joe with issues. I let him know my dishwasher was leaking. Joe was so amazingly helpful that he told me to stop using it. I am not making that up. That was the end of his assistance. I explained there was a pile of drywall, a tarp and debris in front of my garage door. After a week, most of it was cleaned. Amazing, Lennar!

I would advise people look to other builders. Lennar is a joke, the salesman destroyed any hope I had and refused to meet us. When we closed I basically demanded he not show up to hand us our keys. The construction manager is nice as hell and very responsible but always running around having to put out fires from the crappy work these subcontractors do! If you see a Lennar sign… keep driving! Don’t stop and look and end up loving the area and home… because dealing with these clowns is not worth it.

From Billy the salesman up to the warranty workers that come out to service my home I have had a great experience.

Lennar salesperson was easy to work with and offered an easy in house mortgage offering with no closing costs. However, the mortgage application process was clunky and exposed a lot of internal communication problems. We had to approve everything twice because a second application was started because we were locked out of their site. Instead of canceling one they required us to approve all documents twice. Upgraded appliances were included in our agreement. However, Lennar reneged on this and refused to honor the contract. Overall, I was disappointed with my homebuying experience.

Trades just slap it up and hope they get away with poor work. The margin for this publicly traded company must be very good.

There were a lot more little things that need to be fixed/resolved in the house and there are items like light fixtures that were done the "easy" way not necessarily the right way.

Escrow was a mess. They waited until the day of closing to share that I needed more money to close. I didn’t need a celebration when I did get the keys but it would have been nice that someone from Lennar was there

They really don’t put effort in making a home feel “new” there are too many things that need adjusting. There was even some major things. The people who come in to fix the issues don’t show up on time nor do they respect your home and just try to make it look “good enough”. The walls are also way too thin.

I was treated well during the purchase of my new home, quality of the home is great and everyone was supportive of any issues I encountere I highly recommend LENNAR Home.

Not perfect but very good

The entire home buying experience was almost too easy. Wanda helped me choose and purchase a much better house than I was initially hoping to find. The purchase and closing procedure was simple. After moving in, Alex immediately took care of two minor problems that came up. Dealing with Lennar has been a pleasure.

Solid building of a plan that is excellent for 55+ active living. Minimal issues at 30 day inspection. Great management company for club.

I enjoyed the condos with the view and the amenities. It is a nice and cozy environment to live.

There were a lot of materials that were installed in my new home that weren’t properly covered up or cared for as other trades came through the home to finish other items. My brand new floors have been worked on 3+ times already and are still wrong. Paint was everywhere: on the floors, on my brand new upgraded counter tops, and all over my driveway. So many things have needed to be fixed that the first month in my new home I had a contractor visit practically every other day. It’s hard to believe I’m paying almost half a million dollars to have floors with permanent paint and glue residue all over them, not to forget that they are also not level in some areas, among other things. As a first time homebuyer, this experience was very stressful. Really not sure I’ll be doing a new build again after this. This is not to say I don’t love my new home and the awesome appliances and what not, but the overall experience with the lender and the workmanship was not satisfactory to be fully honest.
