Lennar has long experience as a builder and their communities are fine. One thing to know about however, is that while Lennar will do a fine job of providing their own agent for the purchase, that agent works for them, not you. You will probably get better terms in the closing cost if you bring your own agent (fiduciary) with you. Another tip is to be polite to the actual salesman handling your transaction and get to know his or her assistant. The Lennar salesman will seldom, if ever, respond to your questions or email. But their assistant will. Focus on that person. Lennar gets an 8 out of 10 for the purchase process. Their construction is solid, their offers to cover closing costs are actually pretty good and their homes do include basic appliances. So they offer a good deal overall. Overall experience was not bad but of course things arise. Satisfied at this time. I appreciate the Lennar team trying their best to help when it is needed. Hopefully it will continue.

I love my lennar home! There is some issues moving in due to the communication and wasn't even informed about the next step of moving to the new property which is quite disappointing but overall it's a great place to live!

Everyone from Lennar was very nice. All the way from the mortgage to Move-in day. I just have an issues with the sub-contractors.

The process was very long and tedious. If it were not for Christina Z and Jonathon C, guiding me through the process I may have not gone through with the purchase. If you are looking for a Lennar home, you would be extremely lucky to have Christina Z, she is outstanding.

There were a lot of materials that were installed in my new home that weren’t properly covered up or cared for as other trades came through the home to finish other items. My brand new floors have been worked on 3+ times already and are still wrong. Paint was everywhere: on the floors, on my brand new upgraded counter tops, and all over my driveway. So many things have needed to be fixed that the first month in my new home I had a contractor visit practically every other day. It’s hard to believe I’m paying almost half a million dollars to have floors with permanent paint and glue residue all over them, not to forget that they are also not level in some areas, among other things. As a first time homebuyer, this experience was very stressful. Really not sure I’ll be doing a new build again after this. This is not to say I don’t love my new home and the awesome appliances and what not, but the overall experience with the lender and the workmanship was not satisfactory to be fully honest. Quick, accurate and thorough response to all issues and questions. Care and concern for all potential homebuyers. Completely accommodating to those who have problems with a manufacturer or any of the trades. Lennar has become a trusted brand and serious competitor in the home building industry.

Very accommodating in the process of buying the house

On my delivery MJ was keen on communication and timely responses for needed repairs.

The experience dealing with Lennar was very good, soup to nuts, but everyone feels overworked. This means things were not always smooth, but once focused all good. Workmanship from the trades was a big concern. the trades are hurting, so not sure what Lennar could do to help that.

Please help us with customer service. It's taking weeks and months to get things fixed. PLEASE HELP???!!!

I am in the trade as a Plumber , the appliances homeowners get now seeing and using first hand are ver cheap for the price of the home. I have gone to new build apartment complexes and the washer and dryers they put in for renters not buyers are at least $1,000.00 each, but in general their appliances 8 out of 10 Lennar’s for buying a home valued at almost $300,000 - $500,000 2 out of 10. Some of the workmanship inside is poor quality at first look it looks amazing , but after living in the home and experiencing the workmanship it’s poor, especially for the price we pay to buy the home.

Details such as scratched appliances, chipped counters, scratched bathtubs/showers were things I readily spotted through out the house after moving in. I also didn’t realize the house didn’t come painted like the model, the dining lighting wasn’t included, and the front landscaping is a joke. The landscaping looks nothing like the model. They literally put in random plants in no specific pattern. Ive already changed the lighting over the dining table as the cheap chandelier they put in looked nothing like the model. This review may sound negative but it’s actually not, I do love my house. I just find all the small details extremely annoying as I’ll have to fix it later $$$. I’m already planning on replacing the bathroom counters as the chips and stains I didn’t notice until after closing really annoy me. I’m also planning on completely redoing the front yard to look somewhat more decent, half of the cheap plants they put in are dead. They didn’t really choose appropriate drought tolerant plants for direct light etc. All in all, I’d recommend Lennar, but know that all included comes at the cost of the fine details. ... More

It was a pleasant and beautiful experience I had with the builder And give them the five star rating Cesar didn’t come back for the last inspection he got sent to a different location so we get to talk to him

There are no towel racks or linen closets; don’t understand considering the price we paid. Air conditioning doesn’t seem to work properly; there is no garage door to the back yard and no Windows in the garage doors making the garage space dark. Don’t like being required to have the solar system and it is under powered. The front doors are cheap and the inside paint is cheap. We love our Lennar sales person Daniela Bell though!

Sloppy work. Paint drops prevalent throughout home. Appliances included were very low quality.

We felt that the construction was rushed to finish the building and several things were left undone. We closed on May 12. It is now June 27 and we still do not have a dumpster. Brian and Chris were good at responding to our concerns and customer service Joe helped us out a lot as far as getting things fixed that should have been done in the first place. Again, the quality control that Lennar practices with the contractors is sorely lacking and needs to be improved to assure that Lennar will turn out a high quality product.

The overall experience went pretty well, though after being in the house for a month, there are definitely things that look like shortcut were taken. Pavers not being even, no sand in papers, doors not being cut straight, dont stay locked, garage door not closing on its own, pavers not level with the garage floor, door jams not cut straight. screen doors are still missing for the slider doors. Overall we love the house, but in paying this much for a house, I dont appreciate when it looks like things were over looked and in trying to get them remedied, the process is taking weeks to get contractors out to handle the issues and in some cases after they have come out, we need them to come back out ...
