Horrible experience, from every aspect of the staff. Sales, loan financing, leadership-all are lacking professional customer service skills. Definitely, I will not recommend Lennar to potential buyers!

From the time we walked into the sales at the model home, our bad experience started. There was nobody there to answer your questions, you have to schedule an appointment to see a sales agent We felt like we have to beg just to schedule an appointment. He took us to a lot and we were impressed with the view the lot has to offer and which made us buy the property. But he did not inform us that a block wall was going to be built and will block the view he was highlighting about this lot. Lennar mortgage offered $6000.00 towards the closing cost, but opt not to go with them. The mortgage officer would not respond to my calls and emails! The delay in construction is not Lennar's fault but their lack of empathy for the buyers is. Our concierge did not inform us of the change of dates of closing which were a lot, I would find this out from our bank! My financial team was amazing, especially Alex! They did everything they could for me from the darkest of days to the last few days of joy! The building team, not so much. The walk through's, where we kept finding errors and sloppy or unfinished work, seemed to be an inconvenience for them. They couldn't get us to sign off fast enough. By the time of the last walk through i gave up on asking them to remove red paint marks,, blue tape on all borders of the carpet and paint on the carpet. Then they said they would fix the last 4 major items... 2 months later.. still waiting for them to finish Asking for work orders is an easy process, but don't expect follow through or quick response time from contractors. My customer service rep. Cyndi is amazing, doing her best and is kind, but can only work with what they give her. I understand they are still building on the other side of our development, but you would think you would like to be proud of what you do, not just be sloppy and fast as possible. Overall the experience was long, tedious due to shipping delays and joyful at the end. The sales team, financial team and customer service team are outstanding. The on site management are nice and seem willing to do what they can, but didn't always follow through. At the end of the day. I’m am very happy with my home and the team over at Lennar all were wonderful!

This is the sixth home I’ve purchased and the worst experience I’ve ever had. The mortgage officer does not answer calls or emails and after being replaced, the second one didn’t do that either! The processor repeatly asks for documents she already requested and when I point out that I’ve already sent them… no apologies but instead prolongs the whole process further. The unit itself is acceptable however the swimming pool was supposed to be completed a month ago and still far from complete. Before we moved in we pointed out a problem with the kitchen cabinets and a drawer in the bathroom. Parts had to be ordered, then an appointment made in early July was made to fix them. Nobody showed up for the appointment. We discovered we have no key for the back door in the master bedroom or to the door leading to the garage from the house. Waiting for keys. Weren’t told about bug spraying company that comes out monthly? Something about putting our front door on Wi-Fi? No thank you.

Charles and Elizabeth have been fantastic. Very responsive! The inevitable "fixes" for the house are taken care of quickly.

Overall all went well. Lennar has fixed or repaired the majority of items. I must say the appliances that came with the condo were on the low end of quality. It really is the cheapest dishwasher I have ever owned.

Appliance Issue from start and had to go through warrenty to get it fixed.

I am sad to be giving such a poor review when I absolutely love our home and had a great experience with so many of the team. I will start with the good parts. I love the home, the location, and the Lennar product. Rick the construction manager and Dana the Customer Service manager have been simply wonderful all throughout. Alex from Lennar mortgage was fabulous and though we had bumps on the road he moved mountains to help turn things around and was patient with our technology imperfections. Sadly, Jonathan and Marcelle on the realtor side left what should have been an amazing experience of buying our dream home an unresolved bitter experience. We were supposed to receive keys on May 3rd. We arrived to a red carpet, banner, and amazing customer service from Rick and Dana. Within minutes we received a call that due to a breakdown in communication between the mortgage side and the realtor no inspection had been ordered and we could not receive keys that day. Awful and devastating! Movers had been scheduled, work had been missed, landlords had been informed, and penalty fees had been paid. However, my family was willing to regroup and be flexible to resolve everything to get moved into our dream home. All we needed was communication and empathy. What we received was a drastic difference in customer service between the 2 departments. Alex from mortgage and his team moved heaven and earth, apologized, and checked in on us during what ended up being 3 weeks before we could actually move in. Jonathan blamed mortgage, my family (for a lack of understanding of information he never provided), and showed zero empathy. I ended up having to talk to his supervisor Marcelle. I had to place multiple calls before she would speak with me. When we did speak she showed some empathy but placed the blame solely on mortgage despite acknowledging Jonathan's bad customer service labeling it a "coaching opportunity". We expressed our appreciation but requested also to be made whole from all the financial impact these errors had caused. We did not want to profit just reimbursement for the real financial impact all this had caused. Marcelle said she would email someone and follow up. It is a month and a half later and Marcelle has never called back. We've left multiple voicemails, asked assistance from others who route us back to her, last week I received an email that she "would be willing to speak with me", I requested a time and have heard nothing once again... Great experience throughout. I love my place.

Your process for warranty work should be an in-person meeting not and online video call that the homeowner should have to do. When warranty work is being completed a representative from Lennar should be there or at least communicating with the homeowner. I have sat around for many hours waiting for work to be done and a few times no show or later than told with no call.

We had issue with other mortgage company at the very last minute. But Lennar Mortgage was able to help us close within two weeks! And our sales representative Laurie was very helpful and patient with us who were first time homebuyer.

Lennar Title was the worst I’ve worked with and I almost backed out of the purchase because of them, Lennar didn’t pay real estate commission to my realtor so they got free labor but after I purchased, now they offer commission because the market has tanked, they take more than 2-3 weeks to respond to simple post purchase fixes needed. They keep sending surveys but do nothing about the feedback they receive. Interior doors are nice upgrade, appliances are middle quality except dishwasher is lowest quality available. Construction of the house itself is thankfully good but they cheapened out on the smallest things (no washing machine pan for second floor washing machine, kitchen faucet and water filter are cheap). Overall Lennar does a good job. This is my 2nd Lennar home. The process of buying this time is very different. Now there are many people involved which I think it isn't necessary. Personally, we are not so satisfied with the appliances (there were no upgrade so there were basic/standard). Wall paint is white, no other color choice. Cleaning before move-in was not great. Cabinets and corners were not clean of debris. The doors were scratched and poorly painted. Lennar tried to fix the imperfections on a timely manner. The design and sizes of bedrooms are very spacious compared to some builders. Overall, we like our new home. We will buy again a Lennar home, if time allows. ... More

My experience in buying a home with Lennar was great. All team members were experienced, professional, provided important information and were always available whenever needed

Still early but seems like a well built home. Staff has been friendly, responsive and helpful

The overall experience went pretty well, though after being in the house for a month, there are definitely things that look like shortcut were taken. Pavers not being even, no sand in papers, doors not being cut straight, dont stay locked, garage door not closing on its own, pavers not level with the garage floor, door jams not cut straight. screen doors are still missing for the slider doors. Overall we love the house, but in paying this much for a house, I dont appreciate when it looks like things were over looked and in trying to get them remedied, the process is taking weeks to get contractors out to handle the issues and in some cases after they have come out, we need them to come back out ... We have had multiple issues with this house - too many for the price. Customer service is always quick to respond, but getting quality work is another story. The most on-going issue...I still have not been able to get another router to improve my internet (we've been in the house almost 2 months). They supplied us with 1 router that is good for 2000 square feet - our home is almost 3,200. This is our 3rd new house and we will never purchase a home from Lennar again.

With the home buying market being as insane as it was in early 2022, we chose to go the NEW HOME route to make sure we got what we were looking for and without the fear of someone outbidding us. The whole process from viewing the models, to financing and after the sale Customer service has been excellent

This is our second home with Lennar and I’m extremely disappointed with this experience. Lennar Mortgage was more interested in finishing their paperwork a month out rather than handling things at a proper pace. My husband felt harassed by them. On closing day no one bothered to contact me to sign documents. I had to make phone calls to get an appointment. I’ve had to put in numerous work orders because our house of shoddy workmanship. I’m still waiting on resolution on items.
