I would like other buyers to know that Lennar uses cheap labor, and that a lot of the work done on these houses will have to be redone. Please call me I can give examples. The journeyman workers to cheap labor ratio is really low so what the buyers are getting is not journeyman quality work. On the other hand, Cadence spends their advertising dollars making this place to be so great. Don’t get me wrong, I really like the recreation center, & everything that goes alone with that, but the quality of this home is not there. I had one of your construction folks tell me that “ it’s just a track home, you can’t expect great quality.” Just a track home? Buyers are paying a lot of money for “just a track home.” Don’t get me wrong I don’t need to be negative, but the truth doesn’t lie, and if you take these reviews seriously you know that what I’m saying is true and you should make some serious changes in the labor you hire, and that is more journeyman in every trade. Would that bump your costs higher? Yes indeed, but buyers can expect quality craftsmanship. ... More

Not the best materials or workmanship. Stairs and 2nd floor creaks in several places. Too many places for the builder to fix without ripping out entire carpeting.

All the way through the building process everyone was great but after closing I began to realize that the materials used were at the lower end of what is excepted by building code. I am constantly having issues with my breakers and live alone and don't cook much. The response time is great to make arrangements to fix it, but the wait time is days, so I am unable to use my stove or microwave. This breaker refuses to stay on where others work when they want to. If I had children in the house I would be screaming by now. The joists upstairs squeak so now I have to move furniture myself prior to the contractor and carpet guy coming to repair that issue. Had it been constructed properly I would not have to move furniture myself at 80 years old. This house comes with solar but there was an issue getting it turned on and the builder did not want to get involved so I had to handle it myself. The builder had a contract with the Solar Company for all the houses in this development so had to make money on the deal so should have stepped up to help me resolve the problem. ... More

Much of the exterior paint "touch up" is the wrong color. Looks bad.

Overall Lennar does a good job. This is my 2nd Lennar home. The process of buying this time is very different. Now there are many people involved which I think it isn't necessary. Personally, we are not so satisfied with the appliances (there were no upgrade so there were basic/standard). Wall paint is white, no other color choice. Cleaning before move-in was not great. Cabinets and corners were not clean of debris. The doors were scratched and poorly painted. Lennar tried to fix the imperfections on a timely manner. The design and sizes of bedrooms are very spacious compared to some builders. Overall, we like our new home. We will buy again a Lennar home, if time allows. ... More

The Construction Team was exceptional. They provided frequent updates and pictures. During celebration walkthrough issues were identified but resolved in a timely manner. Both Sam and Flavio were great and responsive during the construction process. Wanda was a God send- Literally :-) and a pleasure to work with. There were some issues with the financing team during the process. We loss Shelby as our representative and received someone that had not reviewed the files so the process got a little cloudy, Diane saved the day for the finance team. We have identified some issues during the 30-day warranty period, but Rob is on top of the issues, and I expect to see the issues resolved soon. ... More

It’s been 2 months and still haven’t had our 30 day..

Went fine till the end. Quality of finishes was below expectation. Sloppy work by finishers-grout on baseboards, poor seams on door casings, touch up paint in wrong sheen. Just sloppy. Lennar staff was great. Just poor oversight of subs.

Mostly all good, just still need two areas of stucco replacement completed.

Experience with builder was good. On site management falls short of understanding customer service or satisfaction

- Lennar NOT honoring certain inclusive items. - Addressed to the Lennar Home Care personnel of a discrepancy on a certain appliance to be fixed after closing of escrow. Will not help and left the responsibility to the new homeowner.

This was the worst mortgage transaction I have ever experienced. Communication was minimal, our concerns were not addressed in a timely manner, and our loan was not cleared to close until the last minute. Thankfully, we had the best realtors guiding us throughout the process. The final walkthrough process was a joke. Third time was a charm for us. After moving in we found so many issues, mostly minor, that should have been addressed prior to moving in, but customer service had been great. Josh has been very responsive and has made sure everything is taken care of.

Roy is fantastic, along with Lennar mortgage, title and insurance. My only issue overall is the Quality Control of the material you use. Accidentally dropping a plastic cup from the bathroom sink counter into the sink shouldn’t cause a crack and hole to appear. This is our 7th new build home and we’ve had much worst accidents occur without anything that has come close to what occurred here. I’m definitely disappointed that subpar material would be used by a reputable builder.

The workmanship takes a hit when contractors are forced to complete a home for delivery, which creates build issues that the customer has to deal with after the fact.

Purchasing was easy enough, challenge with the walkthrough and follow up on outstanding items. Punch Lindt was extensive and I am still working through getting it taken care of. Spending a lot of time to make sure it gets completed and need to constantly follow up.

We were excited to be in our new house not until we moved in and started seeing a lot of issues. Half of the flooring of the entire house is messed up. A lot of issues from the finishing and the HVAC, mainly the most important things and part of the house. The appliances are all monogram but has issues already. Luckily the customer service people are really nice to accommodate me for all my complaints.And that’s the only consolation we get because Doug from customer service is just exceptional! The house is beautiful really beautiful, we love the floor plan but the quality and how you can feel that it was rush to get done is ridiculous ! The quality of the house is not worth of the price we’re paying for. I wake up everyday and I just feel sad coz this is meant to be our dream home.We never had a problem with Pardee which is our first home for 10 years. The idea behind the new Reverie community was well thought out and achieved the goal the design team planned. The build quality is poor as there is not a straight wall in the home. For the dollar to delivered value Lennar was the real winner not the home buyer. Not really sure if it is even possible to purchase less quality materials. An excellent example is the guest bathroom shower stall and tub, a cheap fiberglass job with multiple fractures in the material. If I said you could see daylight from all corners of the front door would you believe me. The real challenge Lennar had with this home build was the quality of its sub contractors. Until Lennar can find and hire true professional teams to build these home they will be plagued by these problems. You will not hear from me again unless the foundation breaks as I have hired a team of contractors to straighten and rebuild this new Lennar home. ... More

Uses a lot of cheap material.Rushing the work and it shows. We went through the walk through and they said they checked everything but things were not.

My only concern is we are not receiving the garage door that we were promised when we sign the contract. The temporary door is unacceptable and not in good condition. They decided that we won’t be getting a new garage door- that will try to fix the existing dings and problem with the temporary door- this issue has made homeowners very unhappy including me. Hope they’ll revisit this problem and fix it so all the homeowners will have better respect for Lennar.

The Mortgage and Loan Dept were amazing and an easy process, thank you for this. After purchasing the model though. Different story, we have had many issues in the home, no one responds because it is the Model, and you buy "as is". You reach out and no response. Windows are not opening properly, Curtain rods have fallen out of the wall and dinged up the walls where they were hung and fell into. Doors dont close properly. There is a foul odor that we cannot figure out where it is coming from, many other issues that contradict the "buy a model, you get the best of the best" If this is the case... In general I'm happy with the purchase of my home. It's a perfect size for a couple with no kids. Love the balcony and the fact that I can see the sunset all year around. The open plan kitchen-living area is another plus. There are some things that are not the best such us: - Master bedroom could've used an extra A/C duct. One is not enough and it could get uncomfortable at night time. The smaller bedroom has the same duct, but it is half the size of the master, and get really cool and nice. - Master walk-in closet is very small, so the second bedroom closet has to be used by my partner.

There was a glass breakage issue. Bathroom tiles had cracks.

Drywall and paint were absolutely horrible throughout the home. If builder rep would have walked the home prior to 1st walk with homeowner and address these issues then maybe this would have been a better home buying experience. Closing was moved up to morning with 2nd walk scheduled in afternoon after close. Many issues from 1st walk not fixed. After 2nd walk issues were turned over to Warranty division where I worked with Jude to get my list of items fixed. I got tired of being told some of the paint items were “homeowner maintenance” issues. Same items not fixed from 1st walk, HAHA…..homeowner maintenance issues. A warrning to future Lennar buyers, delay your closing u til every single item on your inspection and all items from both walks are repaired. DO NOT TAKE THEIR WORD that these will be addressed. Delay the closing and upper level Lennar folks will put pressure to get things repaired. Right now, there is ZERO accountability at the neighborhood level. NONE ... More

The build is nice. Just little things here in there.
