Horrible experience by my brand new home with Lennar I do not recommend this builder I have the following issues and have never been resolved: 1. Significant deviation between what was delivered and the model I toured. 2. Unable to get cold water because they failed to dig the water piping. 3. The closing experience was the worst. Lennar Mtg had my initial information 5 weeks ahead of closing - they asked for multiple docs sometimes twice, they failed to forget we had an out of state signing and it took several calls and support from others outside of Lennar to get the closing completed. Lennar knew we had closed and had movers coming to deliver and they acted like it was no big deal until there was pressure and then the closing day was a mess- didn't receive my front door code until 5pm and then it didn't work. Lennar Title was the worst I’ve worked with and I almost backed out of the purchase because of them, Lennar didn’t pay real estate commission to my realtor so they got free labor but after I purchased, now they offer commission because the market has tanked, they take more than 2-3 weeks to respond to simple post purchase fixes needed. They keep sending surveys but do nothing about the feedback they receive. Interior doors are nice upgrade, appliances are middle quality except dishwasher is lowest quality available. The materials you use are embarrassingly bad. How can you put those super cheap showers in and not offer an upgrade. The whole house needs to be redone. The toilets even clog with just toilet paper because you got the cheapest you can find. The price was always changing using one for the first few homes then just raising it a lot more. Was not impressed at all about that.

I love my new home BUT the process was not pleasant. The mortage company was not very good. I was told multiple quotes as to how much I was going to need for closing. My closing date was a nightmare, the Benito and (the other woman s name I can't remember) were not great.

It seemed like no know knew what was going on from the get go. Almost lost the house because we were selling our current home and that was a big deal. No one told us that. They had to redo the entire tile floor downstairs 2 times because of bad workmanship. I even let the super know of issues before the first flooring was completed. This is the sixth home I’ve purchased and the worst experience I’ve ever had. The mortgage officer does not answer calls or emails and after being replaced, the second one didn’t do that either! The processor repeatly asks for documents she already requested and when I point out that I’ve already sent them… no apologies but instead prolongs the whole process further. The unit itself is acceptable however the swimming pool was supposed to be completed a month ago and still far from complete. This is our second home with Lennar and I’m extremely disappointed with this experience. Lennar Mortgage was more interested in finishing their paperwork a month out rather than handling things at a proper pace. My husband felt harassed by them. On closing day no one bothered to contact me to sign documents. I had to make phone calls to get an appointment. I’ve had to put in numerous work orders because our house of shoddy workmanship. I’m still waiting on resolution on items.

AFTER we moved in we found MANY cut corners and issues of rushed or shoddy construction standards BEHIND appliances, still unable to get RING DOORBELL and security system set up, when you buy a NEW home this should not happen, during walk through notice front door needed to be painted now it doesn't hang right and is difficult to lock. My wife and I fell in love with Lennar's models and neighborhoods. The construction quality looked pretty solid as well. That said, we ended up going through 4 Lennar Realtors. Each worse than the last: we caught them lying, they'd yell at us, even manipulated the contract without our consent. There were several grievous actions we'd observed from the realtor team. Never buying a Lennar Home again.

I would never purchase another Lennar Home again. The buying experience as well as the structural issues we faced were appalling and costly. The lack of communication throughout the process was the worst I’ve ever dealt with. Our 3rd party inspector released a 35 page report of everything that needed to get fixed, replaced, upgraded, re-wired or replaced before we moved in. The house flooded 2 days before closing. The exterior of the home was not was we seen or expected on any signed docs, models or brochures. Overall the worst buying experience for our first home. THE WORST!

Home buying experience was horrible!

From day 1 with the initial sales contract and the tons of disclosures that were not made to the crazy surprises at closing, there isn’t enough space to describe all the communication and customer service failures by sales, construction and customer service/warranty//walk throughs. There was poor follow through on issues, the defensive attitudes by really everyone, untruthful statements, and extra hidden cost were unimaginable and never experienced by us in any of the 7 previous new homes we have purchased in our 40 years in Las Vegas.

Worst first new build experience.

You know what, I've typed this review out a couple of times already and at this point I'm sick of talking about it, writing about, complaining about it to people that don't seem to care. I'm now stuck with a half a million dollar home and I don't trust anything in the closed walls. Just make sure you do your research, read reviews etc for Lennar. Its the build of the home itself, the subcontractors, and whoever else worked on it and tried hiding problems that I continue to find.

Never buy a new home during a Pandemic

First, the good. Lennar's model homes in the Emerson Palmer community in Henderson look great. The bad...the house we bought was NOT built with the same QUALITY as the model homes. Blame it on the pandemic, supply chain shortages, and worker shortages I guess. But the construction and quality of the house were terrible. I hired a home inspector and he found over 50 defects both inside and outside of the house.
