I had bought several new homes from kbhome, century communities and Lennar. Lennar workmanship is the worst I have seen and to name a few, you can see the paint roller on the ceiling, nails sticking out of baseboard, cracks in the bath tubs, etc....My main complain is the interior and exterior paint quality and workmanship. It seems the painter didn't care and just paint one layer of paint instead of severals and be done with the job. I even can paint better than them. I am sad to be giving such a poor review when I absolutely love our home and had a great experience with so many of the team. I will start with the good parts. I love the home, the location, and the Lennar product. Rick the construction manager and Dana the Customer Service manager have been simply wonderful all throughout. Alex from Lennar mortgage was fabulous and though we had bumps on the road he moved mountains to help turn things around and was patient with our technology imperfections. They do not do a very good job at QCing the final product.

The workmanship on these homes is subpar. I am still having issues with many items in my house. Make sure you do an extremely through walk through, look at the ceilings, floors, walls, cabinets, and drawers. They do not do a good job with quality control of their workmanship/contractors.

If I know what I had to go throw, I wouldn’t have gone with Lennar. The are responsive as they are trying to sign you up to buy the house and once you do, they disappear, the customer service is horrible, they don’t explain anything, you stay in limbo waiting for them to tell what happening and they will keep rescheduling forever and then when you get to talk to somebody, you get nothing but attitude. I don’t recommend it.

Lennar - There were over 25 issues upon closing on the house in August.

There were over 25 issues upon closing on the house in August. It has taken over 3 months to get these issues resolved. I don't believe the house was even inspected by the onsite Lennar team prior to the closing date. Horrible experience!

The quality is lacking and Phil the customer service rep is horrible it wasn’t until I got a hold of his boss that anything got done around my house. They slap the houses together and want to walk away as soon as you move in no follow up poor customer service

Expertise in timing was honored for my home, however, was not well informed when looking/buying~~all models were not shown to me in my price range when looking in Heritage Courtyards

It was our first home buying experience, and I was hoping to enjoy it. Overall they did ok, but the mortgage part with constant postpones and delays was frustrating. Moreover, the construction manager was very irresponsible and would not fix stuff that we noted during the walkthrough.

I purchased one of the models. It had several issues. The builder did a poor job correcting the issues and flat refused a few others that had it been a brand new house never would they let it happen.

Cindy our sales agent was great. We were told we could close after we got back from vacation, the sales manager than told us we couldn't and we needed to close before we left. After speaking with several people, they honored the original agreement. We did a walk through with the agent, there were alot of touchup and other items not working, to which I was told, would be corrected. When we got back from vacay and went to see the items, they were not only corrected, the person lied and said they were. Flooring feels like it's coming up, wall paint peels off by wiping it, caulking on floor peels, bunch of nails, screws, papers, plastic, etc that has came up just by leveling the dirt in my backyard, paint on windows, back sliding door wouldn't stay on tracks for about 2 weeks.. I asked for help once and will never ask again.. nor do I want a follow up email or reply!

Lennar homes are basic. Carpet, linoleum, paint are poor quality. Representatives provide assurance that if anything is wrong, they will take care of it, but when you enter a warranty claim they deny. Items that are clearly builder mistakes do not get fixed. All Lennar reps - Mortgage - Escrow - Builder tell you it is "not their job" to do something. Very poor service in all departments.

I was raised in a family of building contractors and at age 14, started working in all phases of construction. That's 60 years of experience. Regarding Lennar, rarely have I seen such sub standard construction, cheap finishes, no attention to detail, terrible service and lack of credibility. I have a library of photo's to share if anyone is interested in my claims that follow. Instead of using a multi tool, holes are pounded out of sheetrock and cabinetry with a hammer. From day one, you're on your own! NHCs are worthless. Male construction manager won't talk to you and ignores emails. Responsiveness is slim to none. Too many mistakes were made, and when you point them out, they get mad and ignore you even more. The only time you hear from Lennar is when they want money. Otherwise, you remain in limbo for the duration of construction. The most unfriendly builder (except for one concierge) in NV, and I've dealt with several over the last 30+ years. Horrible experience. If it wasn't for the good Floorplan we would have walked away! Very very poor workmanship. There isn't a wall straight in the house. No craftsmanship. Don't buy Lennar!

I bought my house in January got the keys in July. 1 week before closing Lennar decided that they were going to send off my loan to another loan company without even calling me first to notify me that I didn’t qualify. I was never even told that I wasn’t qualifying for my house loan so I was blind sided when I got a call from another lender. We did a walk through of the house to mark things that needed to be fixed. Couple weeks later We did the final walk through and nothing repaired. The contractor told me with an attitude that we weren’t there to find new flaws. ...

Lennar - Don't buy New Builds from Lennar.

Don't buy New Builds from Lennar. The homes are not worth the price because the quality is not there. The materials that are used are low end and cheap especially in the interior of the home. The companies they hire to complete the inside of the homes have no repect for quality of workmanship. My house is terrible and I regret buying it!
