Lennar has been a very disappointing experience. Their communication is terrible, the seller, lender, and processors don’t work together as a team. Instead of being on the same page, they go back and forth, pass the blame, and create unnecessary delays. The loan officer was not professional or nice to deal with, and overall customer service has been poor. On top of that, the workmanship of the house is not impressive. The home was not turned over in a clean or well-finished condition, floors and walls are dusty, some paint issues, which is unacceptable after such a big purchase. You are not allowed to make any upgrades to your new home other than flooring, kitchen cabinets and countertops. For the price that you have to pay for a new home, Lennar does not include towel holder bars in the bathrooms or any other extras, which is very disappointing.

The whole team is well organized and professionally trainned. I have visited hundreds of open house and model home and glad that mine is the best among all. Thank you Lennar for providing this beautiful house that makes my America dream come true.

Overall I'm grateful and pleased that Lennar worked with me to buy our family home. However the mortgage qualification process did not go well. Way too many people involved who did not talk to each other. This buyer had a huge down payment, no debts and a high credit score, After two months with still no resolution, the Buyers agent had to request that the mortgage and title managers to step in. After they stepped in, it took two days for the mortgage to be approved. Thankful for their help.

Best experience ever in homebuying

I absolutely love the house. However, the quality is lacking. You have no idea how NOT sound proof it is until you move in and hear every conversation from any room in the house. The paint I am cleaning up off the floors, showers, holes in walls, shotty paint job - all things you don’t have the chance to find during a short walk thru, from 6 feet away (if you can’t see it from 6 feet, they won’t fix it). The upgrade choices were limited. Follow up on issues up after closing has been good. Again, I do love the house there are just things I wish could have been different and better

Over all, I am happy with my choice to purchase a newly constructed home with Lennar. I feel that I will be able to reach out, at any time, and get a follow-up to my questions. Customer service has been great!

The people were all great!!!!! The mortgage application was overwhelming because they had too many people involved and one did not know what the other was doing. Would I buy from them again? YES

Buying from Lennar was one of the best decisions in my life. The buying process was smooth. Outstanding work done by different people all working together.

Our closing process with Lennar was highly unsatisfactory. The representative, Diana, displayed unhelpful and defensive behavior, particularly when questioned about inconsistencies in the final numbers, including a missing wire transfer. Furthermore, an agreement was made regarding the use of buyer funds for non-recurring expenses, which Diana contradicted by stating Lennar's historical policy of not covering such costs even though it was agreed to be paid we had to pay the cost. During the signing of closing documents, several discrepancies were identified, which Diana prioritized over accuracy, insisting on signing on time despite incorrect paperwork. This caused delays while corrections were made. After closing, additional payment was unexpectedly requested due to inaccurate figures once again. The realtor commission funds were also held longer than necessary. Diana stated that HUD would not be paid until funds were received. Though the funds were eventually paid to Lennar, the $17,000 HUD payment, for a closing in April, remains unpaid as of July. The check was initially issued with incorrectly missing account information, returned, and re-issued to the wrong company, demonstrating disregard for payment instructions. Attempts to address this with Diana resulted in blame directed towards the lender, and she took no accountability. We recently purchased a home through Kenner, and overall, the process was smooth and professional. Everything from start to finish was handled efficiently. However, upon closing, our family did not receive any welcome gifts, basket, or signage to commemorate the occasion. We’ve seen other neighbors receive these thoughtful touches, so it was a little disappointing not to be celebrated in the same way. It’s the small things that make a big difference during such an important milestone.

I'm not really sure what I have to do to write a review on here. They have rejected my review 6 times so far. Lennar is the worst company to deal with to buy a house. The quality of the house is okay for the money that I paid but getting here was so far beyond reasonable. This will be no less than the sixth time. I have tried to write a review on this site to let other people know how rough it is trying to actually buy a home with the company. The lender agent was the worst. He canceled my closing at 11:00 a.m. The day prior after reminding me daily and sometimes multiple times a day to make sure that I was ready for the closing date. Then he calls to cancel it because he didn't have all of the paperwork ready. For somebody coming from out of town making multiple arrangements for animals, other family members time off from work rental places that I was staying in. It was an absolute total nightmare. He acted as if it was just another day at the office for him. This company has become so homogenized that they do not make it a personal experience and they sucked every ounce of joy out of the experience. If you want to buy one of these homes, I suggest you be prepared to walk through the fire before you can actually get into it. ... More

Great buying experience. Everything went smooth. All structural issues were resolved quickly. Any concerns were solve asap. I would definitely recommend it to others!

Home has very low quality equipment in it. Hood system in home doesn’t match the range size. All doors don’t close properly. Doors always stay propped open. You always feel a draft of air going through the house.

Everyone from start to finish was very professional and was very smooth. Always was prompt with calls and information.

This is not my first time buying a Lennar home. But just like the first time this process was completely seamless from start to finish. Everything happened on schedule and I was constantly being updated with the progress. Everyone from my home by concierge to the construction manager fulfilled their promises And make sure that I had a great home buying experience! Lennar is definitely the way to go if you want a fair price great workmanship, great craftsmanship and a great product.

Everything went well from start to finish, and everyone who helped me out along the way was great. Roy helped us find the perfect house, and Chris did great for all the rest.

This has been a great experience purchasing a home from Lennar. The final walkthrough explained everything about the home. However, the thing that I was most impressed with was the way they handle any issues after your close. We noticed 2 weeks after we closed that it was a crack in a window. We opened a case and someone reach out to resolve the issue within 24 hours. They provided regular updates and the was friendly.

Lennar made our dream of becoming homeowners a reality and it was such a seamless process. Will was patient and kind through all my ups and downs of the emotional rollercoaster I was on. He helped keep my eye on the prize and didn’t let me give up hope when I thought it was too good to be true. Our house is amazing and everything was built with care and quality. I’ve already recommended them to good friends and family. An exceptional experience from the moment we met Laurie who truly listened and understood our needs to closing and signing and getting our keys.

Lennar has many great people that are assigned to help you with the various aspects of your home purchase and closing. All are specialists and quite qualified. Many greatly exceeded expectations. If there is something we needed to come up with to improve the experience for us, it would be to give the purchasers a better up-front idea of the ton of paperwork that comes at you fast and furious. Maybe a chronological list of tasks that must be completed, with deadlines and assigned professionals to deal with for each item. It got a bit confusing and overwhelming for us in the beginning. We have been very fortunate in that this is our fifth new home purchase over our lifetimes.
