Everything has been great. Only complaint is that there are NO closets anywhere (aside from the bedrooms). There are no linen closets, coat closets, storage closets, etc. There is plenty of space for them, so either that or a little larger spare bedrooms would have been nice to fill the additional dead space. Aside from that, everything is well built.

At first, everyone we interacted with seemed genuinely focused on our best interests and providing solid support, but that changed. Communication was poor, with each follow-up passing us off to someone else, making it feel like everyone was just going through the motions. During the pre-walk, several issues we raised but some were left unresolved, and we were given an ultimatum: either they address the items and risk delaying the closing, or we accept things as they were. Worst interior paint job ever. Paint on switch plates and socket covers as if it were painted after the plates were installed. Even the things that were pointed out during walk through weren't corrected properly. We are still finding blue painters tape in areas that were not corrected. Customer service is great in responding in a very quick manner.

We purchased the home when it was almost complete. While the home is wonderful and we are very happy, I would recommend upgrading the paint and carpet padding. These small things make a HUGE difference. Semi gloss in more areas would have been a much better option. The paint we have is extremely flat almost like a primer only quality. The carpet is okay but better quality padding would have been much better. I want to reiterate we bought our home when it was close to completion and we are very happy so far!

Honestly, there were a lot of communication issues during the home buying process with LENNAR. I was especially disappointed with the construction manager Cody. There were several issues with the home that needed to be fixed. We brought up the issues during the walk throughs. Whenever we showed up, Cody was still working on the issues . It was disappointing to hear that Cody stated we were the ones delaying the processes when he could not even get his workers to fix the issues in the home. I know that the cost of homes is high these days (materials, labor, etc) but they should really hire more supervision as the trades are allowed to cut corners. And Lennar doesn’t even include medicine cabinets anymore. Linoleum, sandpaper carpet, and flat white paint are standard on an $880k home…very sad! We did NOT realize the cost to upgrade until after putting money down and we decided to move forward b/c we love the lot, location, and floor plan. So far we’ve dealt with a couple of major leaks with pressure valves and landscaping drip lines. Good thing the warranty/maintenance team are very responsive and took care of the issues. The circuit 50 amp breaker for the EV plug is very sensitive and needs to be upgraded. The dishwasher is very basic and low quality. The bathroom tiles should be higher and all the way to the shower head. No towel bars were a surprise.

Even though we did a walk through on the home most of the items on the list really didn’t get fixed. I’m pretty sure the paint in the home is only primer. You can not wipe down the walls at all or the “paint” wipes right off. The finish work in the home I would give 5/5. Most of the joints in the finish carpentry do not line up and nails holes are partially filled. Basically if I ever want to be able to wipe my walls clean if they get dirty I’m going to need to pay a painter to actually come in and use a quality paint that is able to be wiped off. We were excited to be in our new house not until we moved in and started seeing a lot of issues. Half of the flooring of the entire house is messed up. A lot of issues from the finishing and the HVAC, mainly the most important things and part of the house. The appliances are all monogram but has issues already. Home wasn’t ready for me to move in, did a walk through with the superintendent and found a bunch of problems and was promised everything would be fixed in a week, which was a lie took over 3 weeks.upstairs floor still squeaks all over the place even though they claimed they fixed it

Builder amazing, mortgage guy committed fraud

Our builder was amazing, and Jayden our construction contact has been so helpful every time we had any question. Meanwhile, our Lennar mortgage guy committed fraud, didn't give us closing numbers until 90 days before closing and bait and switched us by making promises about credits that he ultimately couldn't keep.
