Yesterday the construction guys accidentally splattered cement on our newly constructed swimming pool and the deck around it. A construction guy came but I didn’t hear the doorbell because I was in the shower. 10 min later I found out what happened and I texted the construction manager (Gerry). He didn’t even respond. I have to get someone to clean the deck and repaint the affected areas. I believe it was the responsibility of Lennar.

I would say average, not bad, but not amazing. You will get a nice house you’ll just have to work harder at some things. Still working on getting hard water stains off tile, the dishwasher was so cheap we upgraded after the first repair, the carpet was put in so bad it comes up when you vacuum, we have been and still are working hard at getting crickets out of attic, never got a straight answer about yards so that was disheartening, and apparently some get red carpet hand over, we did not, and then we had to chase down the gate remotes. Now, with all that I’d still buy the house, we like the area, the warranty department is amazing!!!!! Just be prepared to do mare work than is expected with buying a new build. First and foremost, the majority of the individuals we dealt with at Lennar were a pleasure to work with. Lennar has their hand in every aspect of the process sales, construction, mortgage, title, insurance, etc. They tell you that having everything in-house makes for a seamless experience. And you would expect that to be the case. It very much isn’t. The left hand has absolutely no idea what the right hand is doing. In some instances, the left hand didn’t seem to know that the right hand existed. They assign you a “concierge” to be your bridge between all the different moving parts. In reality, they reach out to you every month or so with an update you got two weeks prior from a different entity. No benefit whatsoever. This was our third new build and by far our most expensive, but also by far the most frustrating experience. As for construction, the quality is not good. The entire house is one big patch job. So many mistakes were caught and had to be redone. I understand that nothing will be perfect, but there were quite a few things that had to be re-done. I would hope that any builder would put forth their best effort, regardless of price point as every homebuyer deserves quality. But the quality we got at the 7 figure price point was extremely disappointing. My suggestion to Lennar, creat a sub-brand for homes at this price point and spend a little more on quality trades. Lennar simplifies the purchase process by offering extremely limited options. Carpet and tile have many options, but cabinets and countertops don’t. Forget about getting ANY electrical upgrade options. And the choices they make are questionable. I have 4 switches for the same light. Each switch is within 10 feet of the other. But then I have a room where the only switch is outside in the hall. What? All the rooms get ceiling fan pre-wires, but only one switch so you can’t control the fan and light independently without a remote. Switched outlets in the room? Nope. They cut corners in the most obvious places. The warranty experience is hit or miss. They do schedule repairs fairly quickly, but almost every repair has come with new damage. The paint people spilled a large amount of paint on my tile and covered it with a potted plant. I’m talking like 1/3 quart of paint. The contractors don’t try to resolve the underlying issues. They just do enough to mask the issue. So all in all, we LOVE the design and layout of our home, but you do not get any semblance of value for the prices they are charging. ... More

Love the model we chose with the floor layout. Kitchen appliances are top of the line . The response from the warranty agent with any of the few issues we have had has been great and very helpful.

Buying a new house from Lennar at 8356 Aurora Ridge Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89147, has been an incredibly satisfying experience. From Lennar's mortgage service to the final day of moving in, every step was handled with utmost professionalism and efficiency. Each department of Lennar agents and representatives demonstrated exceptional professionalism and patience. They answered all our questions and queries promptly and thoroughly. For instance, on the final day of moving in, we identified some issues with the front door, some wall cracks, and cleaning problems. The construction manager promptly addressed these concerns, and the issues were resolved the next day with perfect efficiency. Additionally, Lennar's warranty service is commendable. After moving into our new home, we discovered that the powder room exhaust fan was not functioning. The warranty service team promptly sent out an HVAC service technician, who resolved the problem within a week. We are extremely proud of Lennar's service. They changed my closing date 3 times because they had no idea what the right date was the fees we incorrect I had to send 2 separate wires it was the worst experience I have ever had!!!!!!

My experience in my new home purchase was excellent. I had help throughout the entire process, from start to finish. All of my questions were answered and addressed no matter what how simple. Throughout the final walk through all items were addressed. It was a wonderful experience.

Excellent incentives ok awesome home

The agent, Shay, was great and the team inside Lennar was pretty good. Unfortunately, Lennar is plagued with incompetence and cost cutting to the extreme at the top. The purchasing team needs to be updated and the design team needs to refocus on what matters in a successful design. I can understand removing the powder room from the RV garage to cut costs. But there was an opportunity to put tough ins for future for a sink on the back side of the master bath. The windows for the garage were removed, which was a design failure and cut very little overall cost. The door to the back yard was removed from the garage. The house has no linen closet, comes without towel bars, the faucets and door handles are chrome when the cabinet hardware is brushed. The front door hardware is also brushed. Nothing matches, we as owners are unable to add outlets or change anything. The bedrooms don’t have any lighting or switched outlets at time of turnover. There are just so many missed opportunities here and with no additional costs or very little at most a more cohesive and quality design a could be accomplished. It boils down to a lack of proper oversight from the executive level. As a side note, Lennar showed the property with a 2% commission advertised for my agent and then tried to change to a lower flat fee around time of closing. Melissa, The real estate agent on site was amazing, I’m very grateful for her professionalism and courtesy. I showed up without an appointment on my lunch hour and she treated me wonderful even though she had another appointment showing up she took care of me. She is a valued asset to you are company. Alex was a great lender and was able to get the house closed within 30 days which was pretty impressive. Marlo the gentleman on site showing the property to me during the 30 days and was here for the walk-throughs. Did an excellent job. he’s very thorough and very professional. The craftsmanship of the house is spot on. I had one issue with an exhaust fan in the In the home. They fixed it within 48 hours overall experience from start to finish and even after finish has been excellent. ... More

I am a 3rd time Lennar homebuyer and I would not purchase from anyone else here in the Henderson/Las Vegas area. Lennar has a team of people that navigate you through the homebuying process. From the 1st walkthrough of the model to the final 1 year warranty process on your closed home, everything is done well. The number 1 reason I choose Lennar is that they are generous in their all-included home items, rate buy-downs, and negotiations on standing inventory are fair. They want to sell you a home and you want to buy one. Win/Win

Overall Homebuying Experience was ok. Quality of workmanship & Materials are OK. After living in the house for almost 2 months, I have noticed several things that need attention. I have had a couple of Issues that needed attention sooner then later with electrical and HVAC issues. They were resolved quickly. I trust the other things that need attention will be addressed quickly when i submit my list. Value for the price paid was fair for the current market. Everyone wants a "BETTER" price. These 2 ladies were who helped us the most. Both went above and beyond to make our buying process simple timely. They were very informative and kind at the same time. Hard to find these days. Once the purchase was finished, Eddie has been most helpful in resolving any issues with repairs.

Drywall and paint were absolutely horrible throughout the home. If builder rep would have walked the home prior to 1st walk with homeowner and address these issues then maybe this would have been a better home buying experience. Closing was moved up to morning with 2nd walk scheduled in afternoon after close. Many issues from 1st walk not fixed. After 2nd walk issues were turned over to Warranty division where I worked with Jude to get my list of items fixed. I got tired of being told some of the paint items were “homeowner maintenance” issues. Same items not fixed from 1st walk, HAHA…..homeowner maintenance issues. A warrning to future Lennar buyers, delay your closing u til every single item on your inspection and all items from both walks are repaired. DO NOT TAKE THEIR WORD that these will be addressed. Delay the closing and upper level Lennar folks will put pressure to get things repaired. Right now, there is ZERO accountability at the neighborhood level. NONE ... More

The whole process was fast, all the staff were very friendly and attentive, when was the closing day everything in the house was perfect, beautiful appliances great spacious bedrooms, bathrooms etc. we loved it. Just we can’t wait for the pool be ready and the amenities. Thanks

After purchasing, I've made several calls to Lennar folks requesting information, guidance or touch up paint. All calls have remained unanswered. I'm extremely disappointed with this company.

From start to finish, we are very pleased with our purchase experience. The initial contact was professional; our rep listened to our wants and needs and worked with us to find the home we wanted. We wanted our choice of elevation and location above all else so we opted to skip using our own realtor. I can absolutely say the Lennar sales rep helped us into the right deal where we have truly feel we got a good deal. The design center was a breeze to work with. Our requirements were simply to get the flooring and cabinets we liked. That could not have been easier. We used Lennar to finance the purchase and again, they came through with more competitive rates than anywhere else. We shopped a few lenders and Lennar beat them all. Kudos to the Lennar Mortgage team in Las Vegas. And finally the construction management team for our community. The site managers are simply top notch. They kept us informed and helped answer all of our questions and concerns. This is our fifth home and quite likely our last. We love the Desert's Edge community. Overall experience was good. A little disappointed regarding some items that were not explained properly during the process, specifically the marketing of the property compared to what was delivered (square footage and covered balcony patio).

When we showed up to view the home before we bought the Lennar agent did not even know which house we were looking at on the street or what was included in the property. Then she was high pressure to sign a contract that night even though we had sent in our deposit. She never mentioned the 7 day right to cancel, not that we were looking to cancel but since she didn't know much about the community, we wanted to review some things. The lender was even worse. So many times when things were questioned, the answer was wrong. I asked about holding title in trust and was told VA doesn't allow such which was not correct. That was a Lennar overlay. We would receive emails for documents stating upload them in 48 hours and then weeks later get asked for more. Even at the very end, we were asked for additional documentation that we felt should have been covered up front. Then Lennar Title sent us an addendum to hold it in trust and when I questioned Title I was told that was a mistake. The site super never responded when we contacted him for questions on pools and other items. He told us pools were limited to 400 sq ft per the city and that was not correct. Just felt like no one knew their job. I expressed to the lender that she better stay with a builder where clients have no choice but to use the in house lender as she would never make it in the real world where she has to gain the business versus being an "order taker". She couldn't calculate credits and her supervisor had to get involved. The quality of craftsmanship has been extremely disappointing since we moved in. What other builder only puts one switch into a room for the ceiling fan and no switched plugs for lighting. The only good Lennar person we have interacted with so far has been Doug. Amazing at customer service. We had a much better experience with our purchase from Century Communities a few years ago. I have myself been in the Real Estate business for 25 years and would not recommend a Lennar home to a friend going forward. We have spoken to neighbors and all had what sounded like similar experiences. To a person, sales, experience center (where you pick finishes), escrow, construction, service and maintenance, every person we worked with was terrific. Lennar clearly has built a strong culture focused upon service and integrity. Did everything go perfectly? No as that is impossible when you consider all the complexities… but what differentiates great companies is how they behave when there is an issue and I can say with full confidence that Lennar steps up and does the right thing. Super happy with the Lennar team we worked with!!!!

MJ was amazing. She was very genuine and very efficient. She was ready with anything I needed and explained everything extremely well. She is a jewel to the Lennar family. I nicknamed her "the Mayor" since she knew everything, everyone, and was really readily available for anything I needed. I would say she is your MVP when it comes to a new homeowner experience.

Was not the best experience with the mortgage, multiple issues and this isn't my first home. It's my 7th. WAY to many people to deal with and communication was a challenge at best. Quality is ok, but the crew that does the finish work not so great. Have found multiple finishes that are mediocre. They seem to be more concerned about getting them to completion rather than Quality.

The closing experience was the worst. Lennar Mtg had my initial information 5 weeks ahead of closing - they asked for multiple docs sometimes twice, they failed to forget we had an out of state signing and it took several calls and support from others outside of Lennar to get the closing completed. Lennar knew we had closed and had movers coming to deliver and they acted like it was no big deal until there was pressure and then the closing day was a mess- didn't receive my front door code until 5pm and then it didn't work. And we didn't even have a garage door key pads or a packet at the house as promised. Beware- make sure you have written approval to close 1 week prior. Now after closing - the follow up on warranty issues has been great so far. ... More

Over all my experience was very smooth, I put in with Lennar for pre-approval for a loan on Sunday on Monday i found the home i wanted to look at and on Tuesday i put my offer in. The Pre approval for a loan made it very easy every one involved were very nice and answered all question quickly.
