Overall a good experience. The house was suppose to be clean upon delivery. While it looked clean there were several issues. The tile floors had numerous splotches of grout and silicone in every room. The bath tubs had rough surfaces and scratches from not being covered during the construction process. Apparently the cleaning crew did not do a complete and professional job. I am sure Lennar will make this right, but, if they are doing their job, you shouldn’t have to deal with it in the first place. There are also some paint issues and weather stripping problems. Eleven of the cabinet door open past 90 degrees and hit the wall or other cabinets. I fixed this myself but felt like the cabinet people should have done this. Friendly,fast very nice take care

3rd Lennar home we’ve purchased and this likely will be the last. Lots of incompetencies from start to finish with contract numbers being wrong or changed and overall very uncomfortable. Larry made our move in process extremely irritating. Blue tape issues weren’t fixed in several places, our carpet and tile remnants were removed and still trying to get them. He’s rude and only wants to tell us how he’s never done any of this for anyone else. $650k invested on this home and 1.4M total investment with this company and we can’t get some leftover building materials we paid for anyway? Crazy!

Very stressful experience with the loan process and asked to supply documents over and over making for a long process. Photos showed cabinets in laundry room but they don’t put them in. Poor communication with Lennar on everything.

The sales team at the office were very nice and great to work with!

We were impressed with the professional and friendly way of taking us through the different homes available and the cost of them. We made a quick decision and bought. Along the way Angela helped us and kept us updated on the status. We are living in our home now and all the different people involved up to the closing and beyond have been equally professional and helpful. We are impressed and thus far completely satisfied.

Our customer service experience has been disappointing. The home was not clean when we did our walkthrough nor was it clean when we signed off although we were promised it would be. The floors were covered with dust and dirt and paint spots throughout when we moved in. We had to call our customer service rep - he never responded. After reaching out that evening and including Donnie, he responded first thing the next morning and he himself came over to inspect the situation. He then immediately sent someone over who spent over two hours removing paint spots from our floors followed by a cleaning crew to clean them. Very disappointing to move into my brand new house with filthy, spot-ridden floors that we were told TWICE would be ( and should have been) clean BEFORE we moved in. Thank goodness our furniture had not arrived until a few days later. Donnie was a wonderful asset throughout our experience - always quick to respond and communicative. Angela was good about responding as well. Unfortunately the dirty floor incident really tainted our move in experience. The build quality of the home is good but not great. Lots of small things were done sloppily such as paint trim, excess concrete splotches around the doors and foundation lines, drywall imperfections, etc. we have several warped kitchen cabinets that indicated new ones were ordered on 3/16 during our walkthrough that we just recently found out from Kurt were never ordered so now we are still waiting for those. The point is, human error happens, we get that, but there has definitely been a lack of follow through to rectify the issues. This is our second Lennar new home purchase and we had high expectations for this one since the first home we bought in University Ridge in Reno in 2007 was such a great experience but unfortunately the bar was lowered. My husband and I have been trying to move back to Reno for several years-family issues were keeping it from happening. I'd been looking at this house for 4 years! When the time finally came Laura and Tricia were there to help. Then a death in my family delayed things again and we couldn't get the first house we wanted. But Laura got us into the same floor plan but a couple months down the road for the same price! Everyone was so helpful getting us into this house after so many delays. Thanks Lennar-we love being back in Nevada and being in our new home!

Angela was wonderful and Kurt and Donnie have been so helpful. I've worked for 2 new home builders the last 24 years, and the team if very good as well as the product and finishes.

Stucco not applied correctly. They were in a hurry and it is now peeling off the house. Front yard graded in the freeze. Is now lumpy and undermined with roof runoff and needs to be completely redone.

I absolutely love Lennar. We entered into a contract to build a home. Just days before the closing, my outside lender balked almost killing the deal. Lennar stepped in with their internal mortgage service, approved us in one day and saved the entire deal. I cannot recommend Lennar highly enough. They are an amazing company.

We bought a ready to move home and the whole process was seamless. Starting from Laura, Monica, Judy, and more down to Matt who walked us thru our forever home, the whole process was quick and delightful. We are truly blessed to be in our new and forever home.

WE Love our new home from Lennar and the accommodations received on our inquiries were addressed in a timely manner. The only thing that I did notice was the communication on certain aspects of the building process we had no control over. We were not advised of whether our laundry would be exclusively gas or electric hookups. Had to sell my less than one year old appliances and purchase new ones. other than that perfect.

The agents were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The house is beautiful. We are very happy.

Jennifer was fantastic. Always there to help us. She advocated on our behalf more than once. We had a terrible experience with the dishwasher. It never worked properly and had to finally 6 weeks later be replaced. I felt Rich did not help as much as he should have. I did not want to blow up before I got the result I needed. Customer Care was not very helpful

Complete lack of communication. They clearly cut corners when they can in their workmanship. They also select cheep appliances and options for the house.

Let's begin with the post close status. Final walk 10/14, now 11/29 and no callback from site QA representative to schedule work. The overall quality of the build is good. Discovered defective heater gas control module. After given name of install company by local QA, I made the call to get the unit fixed myself. Only 17 degrees outside at the time, 58 inside. Sales agent(New Homes Consultant) Margaret does not represent the brand well. We had issues within the first two visits to begin the sales process. Chose to work with her manager, Sumer. Minimized our contact with agent as much as possible. We used Lennar financing for entire transaction. Will never use them again. Minimal communication. We had four different staff members requesting documentation, with no summary of process or explanation as to why certain items were needed. Spammed with docusign requests. Onsite superintendent's were the only source of quality and trust. I kept Shawn and Danny current with my observations during the build. Every two weeks we'd visit the site and take updated videos and stills. We felt it was most important to remain engaged with the build process. ... More

Quite satisfied with the overall experience. Was done on time,

My first morning in the house I took a shower and it didn’t drain. They cut a hole in the ceiling over my kitchen sink to clear the drain it took 3 weeks to get patched. The front door, you could see light and feel air coming thru. It was worked on and 2 weeks later I can see light again. It looks like the door is bowed. Things identify in the walk thru didn’t get fixed. I’m a skilled tradesmen I can fix these things, but with a bran new home I didn’t expect to have to.

Our entire experience from start to finish was stress free. Everyone involved was great. The builder's team responded to minor issues in a timely manner. If you're looking for a well built quality home look no further than Lennar.

First, people were nice. Margaret was helpful and encouraging. Only one issue with Norm where my wife felt like he was suggesting she was not truthful, otherwise he was quite nice. My issue is with Lennar's business model. I've built several custom homes over the years where I have flexibility in making changes, With Lennar - ZERO opportunity for even slight modifications. That's a bit frustrating for someone spending $600K on a house. I really think you should find a way to add some flexibility into the process. I don't expect custom home flexibility, but some.

Tricia was the associate who worked with us from the start. She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Throughout the process she kept us up to date on the progress of the build, giving us realistic timeframes and statuses. She us put in touch with the appropriate people for whatever was needed. Larry, the Construction rep who did the walk through was also very thorough. Taking any issues we had seriously and quickly addressing them. We have bought new build homes before but this was the first time we felt the builder (Lennar) really cared about the home quality and doing right by us the buyer. ... More
