Delays, empty promises, and poor quality

This is not the first time our family purchases a Lennar home which is the reason we are shocked and disappointed by the poor experience. Our home was delayed and finished months later than expected. At closing, items were not finalized. We were promised these items would be addressed in a timely matter. It has been months since closing and the customer service rep and construction manager are not responding to our inquiries as to when the “temporary items” will be finalized. I have sent pictures of cracked toilet, moulding not attached, doors with no weather stripping, vents that blow cold air when the heater isn't even working. We have towels over doors. We have had doors that won't shut. Cabinets that the faces are warped.

They are thrown together. Can't get anyone to get back to you. Have been promised twice they'd get the things fixed, twice they have not shown or contact to reschedule. Sent pictures twice but still nothing. Can't believe the way you are treated with problems. They are not quality built homes.

A faulty installation of the dishwasher flooded our kitchen on 9/26. A contractor had to come in to rip off, dry and clean the floor boards plus remove the damaged cabinets. We were forced to stay away for 11 days. After over 2 months, the floor and cabinet replacement still has not started because the materials have not been delivered. Really? How was the logistics planned to have such a long lead time?! Our next door neighbor also had a faulty installation of the wash machine and their laundry room and living room were flooded, too. Stucco not applied correctly. They were in a hurry and it is now peeling off the house. Front yard graded in the freeze. Is now lumpy and undermined with roof runoff and needs to be completely redone.

Complete lack of communication. They clearly cut corners when they can in their workmanship. They also select cheep appliances and options for the house.

Still waiting for repairs

I have filled out 2 customer care complaints with lists of things that still need to be fixed over the last 2 weeks. I have received no calls or emails regarding the lists. Everytime I fill out a form I get an email stating someone will be in contact within 48hrs, yet I received nothing.
