Lennar - The sales agent Tina is great!
- Clint W.

The sales agent Tina is great! Tom the customer care specialist is responsive and helpful. Well, my closing was pushed out several times and lennar wanted me to pay to lock my rate in which I thought wasn't very cool since they were the ones that kept pushing my date out. Secondly, Once I do get into my home the Furnance wasn't working, which Tom addressed quickly, however as the weather warmed I find my AC isn't working to which I submitted a ticket through the lennar portal, but all I've heard so far is crickets. Certain little shortcuts that I notice after the final walk through, ...

After buying our home, we have had several issues with setting up the Next Gen features. Lennar has been either unwilling or unable to help us resolve these issues, and now, almost 5 months later, the issue STILL isn’t resolved and we are having to pay someone else to come fix it. Our multiple calls to lennar go unreturned and it is frustrating.

While I love my new home, the customer service is awful. We have been in the home for 6 months and things that should have been fixed before we moved in still are not done. We were told it would get fixed quickly. If I had a recommendation for anyone it would be to put off closing escrow until the things you want done are completed.

Can’t get repairs done

Since the middle of August when Ernie was transferred I have been trying to get repairs handled. Most have been request multiple times. I was advised Ron was the new contract and was advised by him the middle of September he stated he had 10 communities to deal with but as of today still have not been contacted to take care of the issues. He stated he would take care of the issues but when. I am not happy. I was required to act timely but apparently the same rules don’t apply. I have a list of about 12 plus items. I feel I was more than generous with my rating.

An Average Homebuilder - No More, No Less

I think if you go into buying a home from Lennar with lowered expectations, you'll be OK. The construction quality is average. Not terrible but definitely a little sloppy. For example: I can feel several clumps of dried drywall mud under my carpet (Lennar's suggestion was to get a mallet and try to pound the clumps through the carpet until I can't feel them anymore), installation damage to wiring and appliances, the yard was full of leftover construction debris, and when they were repairing one of my walls and removed the drywall you could see the space behind the wall had a bunch of ...

After buying the home we had items that needed to be fixed. Our home rep Tom would never respond to our concerns or give us times when we could expect things to be fixed. Only after three emails asking him who was above him that we could talk to did he respond to us and after 4 months the items got fixed. Three of the contractors that had items that need to fix just showed up with out giving us appointment. Luckily my wife was home each time and we were able to get be work done. We asked Tom to please let us know when the contractors were going to arrive. His response was Oh I thought they ...

Lennar - Jennifer was the best with keeping us updated and answering
- James S.

Jennifer was the best with keeping us updated and answering our questions about our home from start to finish. The warranty team however is a different story. Trustworthiness, lack of professionalism and unwillingness to help with issues needing fixing on the first and final walk-through was very telling. The biggest issue was the damaged smaller condenser unit installed. We brought it to the attention of Rich in warranty. He just blew us off about it. He did the same when we told him of the brick/rocks that wasn’t placed on the outside pillars of our Lennar Juniper. He said we weren’t ...

I bought a new home from Lennar at Sendero in Sparks NV and I have had nothing but problems since the house was in the construction phase. I noticed some of the work done was below standards and I addressed it with the superintendent of the job-site which got most of the issues resolved. When we did our walkthrough we spotted several issues with paint scratches and broken tiles but the customer service representative Ron would say “oh we’ll take care of that” and not mark it in the list of issues, now 5 months living in this house there is still issues that need to be fixed and I called the ...

The home is nice with the exception of the issues Horrible experience being told a few days before that we no longer qualify. We have moved in, and even though Lennar may fill the issues in the house are minor, but for the price we are paying it becomes more of an inconvenience because now I lose pay due to the service time schedules, virtual etc. are usually before I get off work, so I lose more money due to timing. I appreciate the courteous Lennar group, Jen, Jenni, Jodi, Julie, Rich. Even though their kindness did not help the experience, it didn’t made it worse speaking with kind ...

1. The licensed realtor-sales representative from Lennar informed us we were REQUIRED to use Lennar Title for escrow services. When we cited the Nevada law that Buyer may choose Escrow company, she referred us to the Division President in Reno. He agreed we could use our own Escrow company, but would forfeit up to 6K in closing cost incentives. Surprised a licensed real estate agent would say we were REQIURED to use Lennar Title. 2. 3rd Lennar home we’ve purchased and this likely will be the last. Lots of incompetencies from start to finish with contract numbers being wrong or changed and overall very uncomfortable. Larry made our move in process extremely irritating. Blue tape issues weren’t fixed in several places, our carpet and tile remnants were removed and still trying to get them. He’s rude and only wants to tell us how he’s never done any of this for anyone else. $650k invested on this home and 1.4M total investment with this company and we can’t get some leftover building materials we paid for anyway? Crazy!

Let's begin with the post close status. Final walk 10/14, now 11/29 and no callback from site QA representative to schedule work. The overall quality of the build is good. Discovered defective heater gas control module. After given name of install company by local QA, I made the call to get the unit fixed myself. Only 17 degrees outside at the time, 58 inside. Sales agent(New Homes Consultant) Margaret does not represent the brand well. We had issues within the first two visits to begin the sales process. Chose to work with her manager, Sumer. Minimized our contact with agent as ...

The qualification process was completely redundant and stressful. Every step of my experience lacked communication by Lennar employees. I reached out to a district supervisor who did not even acknowledge my email nor concerns. Workmanship was not the quality I expected. I missed 8 days of work due to appointments with Lennar of which 6 were NO Shows. Video doorbell has been replaced twice.

The onsite Lennar sales team was consistently friendly and professional throughout the buying process. The home itself is well-built and meets expectations for a spec home. However, my experience with Lennar’s corporate side was significantly less positive. I found the process to lack transparency, with unexpected fees and details surfacing after the contract had already been signed. One notable example is the county transfer tax (approximately $2,500). In most real estate transactions, this fee is typically paid by the seller. In this case, Lennar required the buyer to pay it, but this ...

You need to hold you sales person feet to the fire the will tell you anything to get the sale. Including just fill the application in briefly don’t save yourself a headache fill it out completely!!! And be ready for sales pressure. And they don’t stop showing your house once you give them the deposit they continue showing your home until right before the cleaning for closing. Make sure you take pictures of the items noted in walkthrough as they won’t fix them all.

Was not disclosed or discussed about having to pay flood insurance till nearing completion of home and heard first from other disappointed buyers that had it concealed as well till loan was ready to close on property. Lennar should have to pay the bill till FEMA updates the flood map and removes the requirements. Cost me over $800 per year. The scam was should be completed by FEMA by August 2021 to further deceive it could be resolved any day yet still not done
