We're very happy with the house - our realtor thought they did a pretty good job cleaning it up before we moved in. The concern is more with the outside. The grass is a problem. The builder never picked up their workers cigarettes, and garbage, our entire yard is filled with rocks that were never removed, and the front is filled with rocks that Lennar's snow removal service piled into my front yard. It seems like the sales people said things just to sell the house such as the property behind the house would be landscaped, the plants that they planted would be maintained by their landscape ...

The workmanship could be better. Front stones were crooked and took 6 weeks to fix. Drawer not working properly-fixed, 2 steps squeak, while several people have 2 we have 1 bath shelf in shower, walls are thin. A lot of it is smoke and mirrors. It was advertised that home would be smart and 2 EV chargers will be installed-that's not happening. Cannot trust!

We bought a townhome in patriot square, in New Jersey. The relator, Scott, a Lennar employee, was extremely communicative and timely with answering any questions or concerns we might have. We couldn't believe how easy the process was. The homebuying process was fantastic, and we were excited to move into our new home. However, when we closed on the house, two bathroom cabinet doors were damage, so they were removed and replacement doors were not yet available, so they were missing. Well, we had great expectation when we purchased this house but after so many problems we are pretty disappointed. House looks nice but the quality of the construction is bad. Cheep material and sloppy installation. / Off level floors, nails popping out, broken windows, shower floor accumulate water in corners, interior doors don’t close properly, they have big gap under, bathroom faucet is touching the backsplash so it is difficult to clean behind, landscaping is nice only around model home majority houses have lots of ornamental grass , playground is a joke - beach volleyball court ...

The quality of workmanship on all trim, all walls, ceilings to name a few is utterly awful. Whoever performed the work AND the QC who accepted the work shouldn't be in the construction business, period.

Waiting for people to keep their promises

I signed the contract thinking they would fix broken windows, doors, uneven fixtures since first walkthrough. Four months later still waiting, they fix some floor issues, drywall issues and now water is coming from the ceiling. Very dissatisfied!

Bad craftsmanship and builder non-responsive after closing

Lennar did not allow third party inspection, walk through was rushed and wasn't allowed to point out construction related issues during that time. There were some minor and some major issues that required builder's attention. Dryer gas line was not connected, there were scratches all over the place on the drywalls, poor caulking, scuffs everywhere, chipped wood inside and outside of the drawers, improper and incomplete paint in many places, scratches on the side of the cabinets, rust on the bathroom mirrors, drawer handles and column beams slanted, floor creaking in some areas in the living ...

After my experience, I would never buy or recommend anyone buy a Lennar product. From a distance it looks great, but when you actually look closely, the workmanship is horrible. In the 4 months of living in my new construction home I've had a flood, ceiling leaks, and a loss of hot water due to a gas regulator issue. While most of these issues have been fixed, it was a battle and shouldn't happen to begin with in a new construction home.

Of the entire process with Lennar, the best part was our Sales Agent. He was friendly, responsible and very responsive. With the construction team, there are a lot of opportunities for improvement, both from the strategic leadership and the ground execution team. From a strategic perspective, don’t nickel and dime on such a huge purchase. Make sure the fixtures are quality fixtures with a long life. I did expect a new build to take maybe two months, but not more than four months from our original move in date per our contract. As nice as the people are, their attentiveness and sense of urgency are very much lacking. I am in finance and customer service. We all get overwhelmed. However, we expect to get back to our clients like any industry! I am still waiting on things for my new home that I have not received, and I’ve been there more than a month. Onerous customer unfriendly experience

The mortgage process was onerous, horrendous and designed for Lennar, NOT the customer After holding 4 FHA mortgages, we will never do business again with Lennar NOR EVER recommend to others!! Workmanship and materials are cheaply done and poor spackling/sheetrock work and zero satisfaction to our numerous requests to FIX!! Our floors are horrendous ... they literally colored in our kitchen floor with crayon before we moved in!!! Sheetrock had to be repeatedly repaired and is STILL unacceptable!
