Lennar uses limited flexibility in options/changes approach to hold schedules tightly. That's good thing as you know it up front. On the downside, our house required significant effort to make it livable due to Lennar cost cutting : no towel racks, inadequate closet hardware, no light fixtures, etc. We had several minor quality issues, all of which were quickly fixed with the help of the Lennar customer support rep. And the "smart" home features are really nice!

Ask questions if you’re not clear on things

Like my new build. Needed to put more money than I thought for basic necessities. Towel bars, window treatments, ceiling fans, upgraded switches, ceiling sconces, fence for dogs, patio.

Cutting too many corners, bathroom ceiling downlights that replace a $40 fixture with a $5 fixture but make it virtually impossible for the homeowner to come back and add proper lights. Elimination of any kitchen/breakfast lights and dining room light that are of really poor quality---in a half million dollar plus house. Then there are things like the carpet and padding which is of such poor quality that it has to be replaced in a couple of year, it is the lowest of the low end--wall paint where you can see the brush strokes because the painters watered it down so much to meet their budget allocation for the job which means you really just get a primer coat of all one color, ceiling and walls. There are lots of other things too but this is a good start. Of course you can get by with these things now because of home shortages but it is never right to take that approach with customers or sub contractors. The whole process was not what I expected. The sales person was not truthful in some of her statement i don't believe she cared about how i felt as a buyer. They could do alot better with helping you set up your smart home. They want you to pay someone to come out and set the equipment up when I think it should have been properly set up when we moved in. We been here for 2 months and still can't get the keyless door to work. Lennar needs to be a little more focus on the customers experience.

My wife and I had been looking for our dream retirement home for several years and were growing frustrated because we simply weren't getting the right vibe after seeing many different homes from many different builders. When we came to the Imagery development that Lennar was building we finally found what we were looking for. Aside from the natural beauty of the surroundings, we were impressed with the obvious quality of the homes being constructed. We were also very pleased with their no-hassle, everything's included motto. And we never felt any pressure from the sales people. Once we went to contract and construction began, we were kept updated with emails, text messages, photos, videos, and even live FaceTime chats, all of which gave us the greatest sense of relief to be able to see the home being built every step of the way. We were also impressed with the time spent with their representatives during the New Home Orientation walkthrough. Nothing was rushed and they were very, very accommodating. We hope to spend many long and comfortable years in our retirement dream home, in a lovely community, and we have recommended Lennar to many of our friends as they begin their own searches for their dream homes. ... Late handover Too many changes to the construction manager team Construction managers being unresponsive to the feedback . End Handover of the house being incomplete.

Overall we felt that we are cheated on the quality of the workmanship and the material. They are rushing with the construction process and hence compromising on the quality. During construction hard to get updates and clarification on any concerns we had. They even close the house before fully ready. The warranty process is awfully bad...The list will go on and on...

I love the layout of my home!

I was so excited to purchase a new build that I felt rushed to make my decision and choices to avoid being left out. Had I known what I know now, things would have gone a little differently. Also, the quality of the workmanship is subpar. Make sure the materials and quality are what you are paying for and not just the fact that you have a new home.

Would definitely buy with this group again!

Poor experience. House built poorly. Still finding garbage everywhere they put the sod down over garbage I had to pull roof shingles out from underneath my lawn. Very disappointed.

During the construction phase, the site manager kept the schedule and promptly addressed any issues that arose. Overall, he helped to make the construction phase stress free.

This is my 2nd new construction, and hands down my best experience. Of course, I had my doubts with my last experience but Lennar checks out all of the boxes I even never had in the first place. I have already recommended some of my friends who were looking for a new build.

Craftsmanship is below par and have a lot flaws. Mentioned it to dirt walk through and took a long time to fix it. Took off many times and was stood up by concrete 4 times without a notice and I have to follow up a lot of times. Until now it’s not fixed. Been lied during building process and overlooked it . Been lied again and might follow up with Lennar corporate to get it resolve. Upset with the company and couple employees. Jerry and Brandon are the one been helpful

I purchased 3 lennar homes inn the past, I am noticing the bad quality of the current one, 2nd floor squeaking, poor quality on the wall and doors painting, and obviously over priced due to the lack of inventory

There is only a one year warranty and after initial inspection blemishes and other issues are not covered. Found things after the inspection but was told they would not be covered.

Everyone we worked with throughout the process from the sales rep to the builder to the walkthrough was all done by people who cared. Never felt like just another house. Felt like home. Thank you!

I highly encourage all interested buyers look to Lennar for their next home. We purchased solely over the internet and without even looking at a model home. Risky, yes, but couldn’t be more happy with out investment.

Lennar has a long history of building quality homes. This is my second one and so far they remain very consistent.
