Unable to reach anyone in construction on a Saturday despite the fact that our house under construction was flooding from a broken pipe.

Good job in completing the job

I expected better quality inside and outside. Also the cleaning...they left something in the carpet, some on the cabinets... I found piece of iron under grass... very dangerous if you are barefoot.

Sales people seemed to say anything to make a sale even if they later couldn't or wouldn't follow through on things. Also, the fact Lennar decided to no longer do 1-year touch ups was not made clear until warranty walk-through, I've never heard of a builder not doing at least a 1-year. My previous builder did 6-month and 1-year. Not being able to make any alterations, even simple things like moving lights is ridiculous for the price range. If they aren't going to let you pay for extra recessed lights (or even just move them), then they should let you bring a licensed electrician pre-drywall because with I-beam rafters, running wires after the fact is virtually impossible. Attention to detail prior to closing was poor. The drywall and paint was worse than my previous house which cost half as much. The two "independent" TLC reviews I was told were going to happen either didn't happen or they did a very poor job. The house was not even cleaned prior to closing and I had clean all cabinets prior to put things in them. Thankfully the warranty department has helped resolve virtually all of these issues. ... it was good to have bought house with Lennar

We moved in winter 2021- our grass is terrible and Lennar does not warranty the lawn. My dishwasher didn't work. I have already had service on my dishwasher and stove and have only been in the house 3 months. They put cheap light fixtures in. We have replaced all the fixtures in the house (or should I say the boob lights). You can see sheet rock lines on the ceilings. The back siding was not finished - but Lennar did come back out to fix. I personally don't think I would by a lennar home in the future.

The builders are absolutely horrible when it comes to cleaning the cleaning the areas of the homes they are currently building, they do not block off the areas where sod hasn't been placed so when it rains, we have a continuous mud slide along with settled mud in front of our new home and on our block. It's lazy workmanship not to leave those areas in a position where homeowner have to shovel mud and clean up excessive amounts of trash. This is far beyond a small issue, when my car slides on the mud because it is so thick. It makes it that much worse when we are told they only clean the streets on Wednesdays and Fridays, whoever is overseeing the builders of this area is doing a subpar job or the standards are extremely low ... Cheap homes from appliances to build quality not worth 400k

I have had a problem with the grading of my garage since I moved in 4 months ago. Now I’m just being ignored.

The sales person was not clear to explain the features to new first time home buyers especially not clear on operable windows and non operated windows

Make sure you get a great inspection and let them fix all the issues before closing

They tell you things that are not true. When you move in the grout and seal for your wood baseboards pulling out from the wall and theTile in my shower the grout has holes in it my wood floor had spots on it that were left by whoever put it down my sink was scratched badly both sides and they tried to say I did it. They finally fixed it. My garage door broke after about a couple of weeks and no one would come fix it. I am 72 and.my son couldn't.be home so i called the garage door CV company and a super nice man drove an hour at.no charge to come fix it late at night. All my doors were cut but never sanded properly on the sides, top, and bottom some barely have paint on them, some none. I cut my arm on one because the edges are so rough. I was given the wrong mailbox key so my mail was going to another person and it took two trys to get it changed. I didn't know toll I did y j.g e walk t hff rough that I had to seal all the tile in my home and I had cut myself very badly on th ed front of my shin; five inches across and five down and couldn't seal my tile for weeks. I couldn't use my shower until it was done. I am going to be paying for all this to get fixed out of my own pocket. I was told that no one sees the inside of doors so who cares. Well I do. My one bathroom the door was not shimmed on the bottom so it won't.go if err r the bathroom rug at all. I will never recommend Lennar to anyone ever. I could go.on. ... More

The house design and sales agent were great. That is where it ends. At best the craftsmanship is poor. Lack of attention to detail is on full display. When you are paying near 500K for a home, one deserves more than shoddy work. Lennar is not responsive to requests for service and fabricates excuses why they are not liable.

i had issues with lennar mortgage... but once lennars real estate agent found out he immediatly started the process to fix the wrongs.. David was extroridnarly effective an helpfull. from that point on i would give Lennar 10 stars if i could.. once the closeing finished we were completly overwhelmed with the quality, professionalism, and compasion Lennar showed l.. i would recommend them 100%.. The lennar mortgage company well i had issues with them, maybe you wont so you can try then them make your opinion...

Not having permits for water was uncalled for. Blaming everyone else made it worse. We wanted minor changes we were offered to pay for and sign a contract for(moving outside spigots and additional shelving in closet- both prior to their installation- and told no. Communications were “we don’t know” on every aspect. Now that almost all houses are sold there is mud in the streets, unfinished sidewalks, major common areas just mud, trash on the bridge at the entrance, etc. not impressed with Lennar.

Since I don’t have an any good words about the loan officer(s) that were assigned to me. I will say the managers and underwriting team ans well ans the crew who did walk the through and inspection ,especially the onsite rep who was phenomenal. They made this experience so much better than after the shamockery with loan officers and this played a part in the score and success of a close.

The salesman that we had was horrible. It was nearly impossible too get in touch with him. It's too much too write but the people that we dealt with at the end were wonderful.

Overall, Lennar was very responsive

Communication from the mortgage branch was spotty, didn't know I was approved for a loan until just a few days before closing, after more than five months of back and forth. Pleased with the home itself other than the landscaping, sod was put down in a haphazard manner, large gaps still prevalent, a rough ride for any type of mower--very disappointing

Elson was awesome from start to finish. Andrea and Andre needs customer service training. Cheyenne was great. Overall the experience was decent. The process was smooth although I was a nervous wreck.

Lennar uses limited flexibility in options/changes approach to hold schedules tightly. That's good thing as you know it up front. On the downside, our house required significant effort to make it livable due to Lennar cost cutting : no towel racks, inadequate closet hardware, no light fixtures, etc. We had several minor quality issues, all of which were quickly fixed with the help of the Lennar customer support rep. And the "smart" home features are really nice!

Move in was delayed due to not passing inspection for foundation. Was delayed 2 months and due to scrambling to move the date back up after we were told it would be a 3 months delay we was forced to pay a per diem fee while we waited for the appraisal, since they moved the move in date up on us last minute
