While we are overall fairly happy with our finished home, the overall fit and finish for the price of the home is substandard. We have purchased 8 other new construction homes over the past 30+ years so we know what we should be getting in terms of quality of workmanship. While Lennar advertises "Everything's Included" we found that not to be the case and there was very little we could customize throughout the process. We purchased the house about 8 months ahead of it being completed and had a relative watch the progress. I only wish I was here when it was being built and finished out to challenge Lennar on the workmanship. Now it appears I will have to pay other contractors to fix and bring the house up to my standards. For that it is disappointing but not much that can be done at this point. We will attempt to have some things fixed during the 1 year warranty but I am not going to hold my breath. To do it over again I might not choose Lennar but I think we can make this house viable in terms of a home we want to live in. ... More

My new home is very basic for what the cost was. I did not have any options I had to take whatever they offered due to "COVID"? The best thing about my purchase is the location of my home, that is priceless. I am not impressed with this Lennar home, finishes feel really cheap.

I found the Lennar experience very frustrating, and would not be repeat buyer. For the price paid, I am disappointed in the development, the finished home, the Lennar processes, and absolutely beside myself that Lennar will not allow, tolerate, or discuss simple, inexpensive changes to make the finished home more “functional “. The Lennar famous quote “it meets code”, and “that’s what’s on the drawing” is heard over and over when you ask for simple changes; early or even before the build. There’s insufficient space for me to outline the issues and watch outs when buying in a Lennar development, just go into the process with your eyes wide open, and be prepared for spending quite a bit after you take ownership to make the home livable and functional. ... The whole process was not what I expected. The sales person was not truthful in some of her statement i don't believe she cared about how i felt as a buyer. They could do alot better with helping you set up your smart home. They want you to pay someone to come out and set the equipment up when I think it should have been properly set up when we moved in. We been here for 2 months and still can't get the keyless door to work. Lennar needs to be a little more focus on the customers experience.

I was so excited to purchase a new build that I felt rushed to make my decision and choices to avoid being left out. Had I known what I know now, things would have gone a little differently. Also, the quality of the workmanship is subpar. Make sure the materials and quality are what you are paying for and not just the fact that you have a new home.

Pleasant staff but the finished product/home does not meet the long awaited anticipation and expected results.

Customer service very responsive but limited in what they could accomplish, who every over saw the house being built very poor, when we complained about the paint to the sub they sent out the answer was it was building grade paint and they new we would be repainting lots of hi tech items but most don't work at designed

Poor build quality and craftsmanship

Not a pleasant experience with Sales and quality in construction and addressing the issue not good either.

Check and inspect thoroughly before signing, I believe the property is over priced

Good, NOT GREAT, quality. Very inflexible. Kept using the permitting excuse when I even offered to pay for the re-permitting cost. TO THIS DAY, they have not fixed the 4x4 support in the basement that has some splitting in it. GOD protect us from harm if anything should happen to that support.

Lennar builds a sub standard home with the lowest commercial grade of material to be used. You buy a Lennar home because of the community not because of Lennar. I would not recommend them as a builder and would avoid them if I decided to purchase another home in the future.

Working with the warranty person Talisha has been good. Working with Lennar during purchase was frustrating and disappointing. We feel that they strung us along with an issue that was brought up when we looked at the house the first time with their salesperson. A resolution was denied two days before closing approx 4 weeks after the issue was brought up.

We had several major issues that should not have occurred with a top builder. First, the sewer line was busted between the house and the sidewalk, backing up sewage. Lennar was fairly quick to respond, but it took two days to fix. Second, the grading and sod is terrible. Lennar has yet to fix it. Third, the alley way concrete is cracked and crumbling. Lennar has not fixed the concrete. Fourth, the alley approach is designed poorly and cars consistently run off the road causing deep ruts in the adjacent lawn areas. The Ring doorbell was installed missing parts that were taken to fix neighbor homes. It took Lennar over four months to fix the problem. The Ruckus WiFi did not operate on the first floor. It took a couple of months for Lennar to find and fix the problem. ... More

The building process included a lot of mistakes and miscommunications. Our home has required a lot of warranty repairs so far and all of the claims have involved poor customer service. Our sod was installed without any sprinklers / routine watering for weeks before closing and has been a nonstop effort and expense for us to salvage it since moving in. The process of building the home and dealing with the ongoing repairs from negligent work has been stressful. We do enjoy the neighborhood , and the price that we paid for our home at the time we purchased. I could not imagine paying todays pricing for the product and services that we have experienced. ... They said trails and a pool. Have no idea when the pool will be started. They decided to make the rest of the trails not a hard surface. Very slow to act o. HOA requests. They left wire and the retaining cloth all through the backyard

They use cheap products. Low grade flooring. I had to choose between low grade engineered flooring or low grade LVP.

contractors doing the work were terrible. way too many things needed to be fixed after closing

Painting and clean edges on drywall are obviously not a priority. Caulking around the tile floor looks terrible. Major difference in opinion of what usable backyard means .

The house is well insulated, but the lightning and bathroom fixtures need to upgraded. Who ever you are using to finish the yard need to be replaced, because the grade of the back of the house could have been done better, and they just throw the sod down.

The construction of a $500k home rates a Minus on our scale. Super delayed process that was poorly communicated. Stressful and limited communication during the build process. Obvious lack of supervision of poorly skilled workers. The home continues to present endless construction issues. Just wished this product was refundable .

Terrible workmanship materials are cheap no response on issues that need to be addressed

Overall we felt that we are cheated on the quality of the workmanship and the material. They are rushing with the construction process and hence compromising on the quality. During construction hard to get updates and clarification on any concerns we had. They even close the house before fully ready. The warranty process is awfully bad...The list will go on and on...
