Trades need to do better a better job, too many things done poorly. Issues with windows, siding, stove, dishwasher, shower head, deck, painting, flooring, gutters, concrete, masonry, landscaping, sod placement, grading of soil, etc. etc. Sad most things should have been caught and fixed well before we closed. Many things I will end up doing/fixing myself.

Bare minimum upgrades in spec homes Phase one of the neighborhood has better upgrades/options.....their motto is Its all included And that was not the case- there were no window treatments, refrigerator or washer and dryer included.

Mediocre at best.

Nice brand new home but you'll notice quickly that the materials used are not high quality!

Promises were made to repair the hill behind our house and they have not followed through

Overall, our experience with Lennar was subpar. The number of issues found during our inspection was alarming, but the worst part was the pushback from Lennar when it came to fixing or addressing these issues. I had to create a punch list and consistently follow up with the construction manager to ensure things were getting done. During the final walkthrough, numerous issues were discovered, yet I was assured that Lennar’s QA process would leave the house practically turn-key. Unfortunately, this was far from the truth. I even had to argue for a large section of drywall exposing the strike plate to be fixed and went around the neighborhood to gather proof that my house was the only one with this issue. Outlets were not installed at the same height, and I’m not sure there’s a single 90-degree corner in the entire house. Under the carpet, you can feel nails and debris as you walk. Every door’s trim is chewed up but simply covered with paint to hide the blemishes. The overall craftsmanship definitely needs to be reviewed. The only positive experience I’ve had in this entire process was with the sales agent, Mike, who unfortunately no longer works in this neighborhood, and my warranty representative, Martina. Martina has been working tirelessly to make things right when issues arise, and it’s clear she’s advocating for the homeowner rather than Lennar, which is a relief. The initial buying process went well. However, after I signed the purchase contract, I had to follow-up after no responses regarding the inspection. I definitely did not feel I received the red carpet treatment as expected after making such a big investment. Lennar short cuts at every opportunity…no mirror in the powder room, no light fixtures throughout home, including over the mirrors in each of the bathrooms (except undesirable one in dining room). Review of items prior to closing was combative and rushed. I was appalled that Lennar did not offer a printed copy of the warranty manual.

Once our sale was completed sales representative was disinterested in responding to our concerns. Very disappointed in his performance. Initially construction supervisor was reluctant to meet with us. However he has been very helpful since our first meeting. Punch list staff (new home owner orientation, etc) was not particularly knowledgeable about appliances, heat system, eero system, ring system, etc. Warranty mamager has been great to work with. Lennar needs to improve communication and follow-up and training at all levels. Also, Lennar needs to provide better supervision to subcontractors. We understand that houses are still being built in this development. However, subcontractors throw construction debris, food containers, cans, scrap wood, and all varieties of junk around the neighborhood. Not only is this unsightly but it is a safety concern. ... Finishing is very bad. Lennar should have been given more options for having the sun room or back yard porch. there is space which can be planned rather than making wastage.

This new home buying experience was different from any of my previous. I was told no "we don't" "we can't" "we won't" too often to remember what was able to be done. For the price of the house materials and finishings are so basic. (Painting, Cabinets, Floors, Carpet, Etc.) I closed feeling like I overpaid and have so many upgrades to do.

In general, the purchasing process was straightforward. So I'll give you kudos for that. But hand-off was handled very poorly. Promises were made that things would be fixed that are still pending over a month later. Most items should not have been allowed to pass initial inspection the first place. For example, I have an interior door that doesn't close, stair balustors out of order, a plastic water bottle visible in the foundation, mismatched ventilation screens and so on! And to have a representative state that this is not a "class 1 build" as an excuse is just not acceptable.

Overall, nice home and amenities in Millbridge. Finish work could use improvement with more options for kitchen cabinets.

While we are overall fairly happy with our finished home, the overall fit and finish for the price of the home is substandard. We have purchased 8 other new construction homes over the past 30+ years so we know what we should be getting in terms of quality of workmanship. While Lennar advertises "Everything's Included" we found that not to be the case and there was very little we could customize throughout the process. We purchased the house about 8 months ahead of it being completed and had a relative watch the progress. I only wish I was here when it was being built and finished out to challenge Lennar on the workmanship. Now it appears I will have to pay other contractors to fix and bring the house up to my standards. For that it is disappointing but not much that can be done at this point. We will attempt to have some things fixed during the 1 year warranty but I am not going to hold my breath. To do it over again I might not choose Lennar but I think we can make this house viable in terms of a home we want to live in. ... More

My new home is very basic for what the cost was. I did not have any options I had to take whatever they offered due to "COVID"? The best thing about my purchase is the location of my home, that is priceless. I am not impressed with this Lennar home, finishes feel really cheap.

Pleasant staff but the finished product/home does not meet the long awaited anticipation and expected results.

The house is well insulated, but the lightning and bathroom fixtures need to upgraded. Who ever you are using to finish the yard need to be replaced, because the grade of the back of the house could have been done better, and they just throw the sod down.

I have lived in my Lennar home for almost six months now. I have come to find out that pretty much all the materials used in the building of my townhome are the cheapest product available. If given a choice I wouldn't buy a home from this company again.

The buying process was okay, the only person that was incredibly responsive was the sales agent, and he had already secured the sale. Construction Manager changed 3 times in less that 4 months, and quite a few items we asked weren’t done. It could have certainly been worse but absolutely could have been better.

Post closing experience is dismal

The overall experience was stressful , I believe that the craftsmanship of the house is poor, as I am already seeing nail pops , had to have warranty work done . When asked if I could have some paint to touch up my walls after moving in , I was told you can go to Sherwood Williams and tell them Lennar house Walnut Creek and they know the paint . To be honest that’s not what someone that pays 500,000 for a home wants to hear , your build supervisor did catch the pillar in front of my home as twisted . Placement of light switches are awful why not have a switch in the garage for the garage , No outlet near the water main to use the monitoring items that require 120 v , I rate my over at 3 stars , some people on your team work as hard as they can to please the buyer others are just there to collect a check and you can see that , the warranty dept was quick to come and fix my issues , slate did a great job of keeping me in the loop. ... House layout is great, however workmanship could have been much better. Can tell items were rushed and done quickly. There were things that passed inspection that shouldn’t have. For the price we paid for the house, I’m disappointed that we already have to fix items 2 months later.

I found the Lennar experience very frustrating, and would not be repeat buyer. For the price paid, I am disappointed in the development, the finished home, the Lennar processes, and absolutely beside myself that Lennar will not allow, tolerate, or discuss simple, inexpensive changes to make the finished home more “functional “. The Lennar famous quote “it meets code”, and “that’s what’s on the drawing” is heard over and over when you ask for simple changes; early or even before the build. There’s insufficient space for me to outline the issues and watch outs when buying in a Lennar development, just go into the process with your eyes wide open, and be prepared for spending quite a bit after you take ownership to make the home livable and functional. ...
