I was impressed with everything except the walk through experience and how I now know I should have been able to check more carefully for potential problems . Mostly items outside , but we moved quickly through all of it . The house inside is great , no is*****s except for 1 window I be*****ve should have a blind installed . Or at least I should have been told , but I was told all windows except the back door and the non working window over the front door . Everyone has been super nice ! I am happy to have gone with Lennar ! Builder credits during settlement were a huge help and appreciated .

To improve it would be nice to offer an upgrade in paint. What was used is cheap and feels like sand paper. Already have the whole down stairs re-painted. None of the light switches match up and we had to install a lot of lights which was shocking. We have many light switches that operate nothing that we can tell. No ceiling fans at all. Would also have been nice to add blinds or at least have the option to pay for them in the house purchase. Another expense to get this completed.

The aboslute worst Mortgae experience in my 76 years. I have owned and applied for mortgages on 9 homes. This company does not know what they are doing. Buyer beware... I have an 844 credit score, and hundreds of thousands in liquid assets and the Mortgage "agents" made the process extremely time consuming and painful...Asking for the same documentation MULTIPLE TIMES...Potential buyers seek your mortgage elsewhere!!!~

MASSIVE EROSION, lack response to latency soil compaction

During our final walkthrough, plastic corrugated pipe placed to drain water runoff for entire block. Was told they were permanently, upon closing pipes removed. 2 days later rain and sod soil washed down 3 yards above. Result 3 catch basins plugged with silt. Undermining foundations. They immediately repaired only the areas where future runnoff would affect the unsold homes. Constant battle

Poor Communication, but good price for house

While our initial sale person with Lennar was amazing, we quickly had bad experiences with everyone else. So many mistakes: names spelled wrong, wrong documents with errors sent, dates being wrong, items not completed after first walk through. am so thankfully I read everything carefully. Communication was horrible. I understand exactly what we paid for, and we are so happy to be homeowners. However, I would never recommend this company to others.

Not good and would not buy from Lennar again

Poor communication when I need something. When they want something from your lender or attorney, they are all over it. When it's time to do anything, they literally dictate and bully you on what they want done zero flexibility. The Lennar chosen title company is unresponsive and literally does not care about there "captured" business no risk of losing so why do anything to make the buyer happy. Any issues with the home are treated the same way anything Lennar can do to not help the buyer they will do.

First Lennar Home purchase

This was our first Lennar home purchase. The home value is great for the price. There are several things that were not done well like smoke detectors not located near the doorways, the cable connection box in the opposite side of the house from the cable box at the street. The purchase process was very smooth.

I am a realtor who bought my first home through Lennar at Legacy Ridge. The sales agent was very nice but didn’t know a lot of information about surrounding schools, nearest grocery, etc. We loved the house and you guys were offering an awesome credit! We went under contract and from that time on the nightmare began. I was passed around to 3 different lenders, who I then needed to resend and tell them everything from the beginning due to lack of communication and cooperation between Lennar mortgage. No one knows what’s happening and keep on moves the closing date and on the day of the closing they informs you that they are not closing today. Walk through days mentions are waste of every once time, firstly they give you the date and no one shows up at the house for the walkthrough and secondly when you point anything to be fixed the simply say that’s how it is and cannot do anything now. We moved in just before Thanksgiving and have had two floods (one due to damaged underground drain and one due to builder installed washer). The warranty process has been slow and tedious. Additionally, I feel like the pre closing inspection process was designed to overlook items. All "cosmetic" matters (paint issues, touch ups, cracks, etc) walk through person says "I have this", then we move in and there are paint issues everywhere, cracks everywhere (eg crown molding, cabinet molding with 1/4" + gaps in several spots). We enjoyed working with Suzanne and Andrea of Lennar Homes. Also, Travis and Marshall were very good during our walk-thru. I did feel like there were so many people doing all different type of jobs within Lennar that it was hard to keep everyone straight.

For me, I felt like the loab approval process was a bit much. I was asked questions that I didn't really feel was appropriate. They also asked for the same documents that I'd already sent in to a previous employee. I felt like they weren't communicating to each other. I think that a better quality paint should have been used. The paint is not able to be wiped down without the paint coming off the walls.Other than that, I love my new house.
