I am a realtor who bought my first home through Lennar at Legacy Ridge. The sales agent was very nice but didn’t know a lot of information about surrounding schools, nearest grocery, etc. We loved the house and you guys were offering an awesome credit! We went under contract and from that time on the nightmare began. I was passed around to 3 different lenders, who I then needed to resend and tell them everything from the beginning due to lack of communication and cooperation between Lennar mortgage. Not good and would not buy from Lennar again

Poor communication when I need something. When they want something from your lender or attorney, they are all over it. When it's time to do anything, they literally dictate and bully you on what they want done zero flexibility. The Lennar chosen title company is unresponsive and literally does not care about there "captured" business no risk of losing so why do anything to make the buyer happy. Any issues with the home are treated the same way anything Lennar can do to not help the buyer they will do.

Disappointing Experience

We moved in just before Thanksgiving and have had two floods (one due to damaged underground drain and one due to builder installed washer). The warranty process has been slow and tedious. Additionally, I feel like the pre closing inspection process was designed to overlook items. All "cosmetic" matters (paint issues, touch ups, cracks, etc) walk through person says "I have this", then we move in and there are paint issues everywhere, cracks everywhere (eg crown molding, cabinet molding with 1/4" + gaps in several spots). The purchasing process itself was fine. The coordination with Lennar reps was pretty terrible. Multiple reps blatantly lied about inspection results and new home orientation dates. The Lennar-run HOA is a complete nightmare.

Poor quality and lack of knowledge at its best

A builders grade paradise. We don't know, or we don't do that are the mottos around here. No consideration for the overall ambience of the development, homes are built with lack of the consideration of the ability of the buyers who are new to the area to have access to services and information of availability unless you are willing to be Facebook savvy and trusting of your "neighbors". Air leaks and failing " finishing" touches are common, the washouts of the so called irrigation system are not only annoying but dangerous at times. You get the picture. And it only promises to get worse.

The subdivision has been left a mess with uncompleted sidewalk, poor workmanship, incomplete drainage facilities, incomplete common areas, construction debris and trash everywhere.

I could never receive an immediate answer on any issue, every reply took anywhere from 3 - 14 days. Every concern regarding the build of my home was either disregarded or denied. 3rd Party walk-through was never performed as promised. 90% of blue tape items noted as deficient were not completed and then bent over a barrel to sign-off and close or incur fees. If given a choice, I would never deal with LENNAR again, but I don't think that any other builder in this current climate would be any different or better. Though I have informed about cracks in the foundation, they were not fixed Reported about Ant hill before closure, it was not just an ant hill , it was an infestation of ants and was just watered, but not fixed before closure

No one knows what’s happening and keep on moves the closing date and on the day of the closing they informs you that they are not closing today. Walk through days mentions are waste of every once time, firstly they give you the date and no one shows up at the house for the walkthrough and secondly when you point anything to be fixed the simply say that’s how it is and cannot do anything now. Everything was cracking up in the new house and when I asked about that they say they won’t fix the cosmetic damage.
