First and foremost I'd like to say that the home I bought is beautiful. The issue I have is that the quality control is non-existent. There are way too many things to mention but it is obvious that no one is checking behind workers and allowing things to be "completed " without quality in mind. From painting, caulking, cleaning and minor things you catch after moving in, the amount of things found should have been caught by someone in Lennar before allowing process to continue. Having said that I do think Lennar has a good system of trying to follow through and correct some items but for the most part if the items is "cosmetic" you are met with excuses as to why an issue is a non-issue for them. I believe if Lennar adds a quality control role and removes the concierge role (useless role) they would be able to catch these problems before a buyer finds them and has a bad experience. Not my first home buying rodeo and I was able to find a home that met my needs in my desired area. Lennar made it easy and process was very smooth. I've been in my home for about 3 months and while building is going on all around me, it's been as expected. Minor issues that I have raised have been addressed pretty quickly with no pushback.

I just didn't know about the easement that does not allow you to put a fence. Also, the paint is not that great.

Just like any home buying process it had it's ups and downs. Purchasing the home had some snags due to miscommunication or simply a lack of communication. Overall the experience was pleasant.

Builder wouldn't add additional mud to drywall in the garage, so we will need to do extra work before painting it. The power went out multiple times and the warranty advisor was little help. Once the power company came to fix the issue, they told us the issue was noted before we closed, but the builder never scheduled for them to come fix it. The water meter was installed improperly. The plumber on the warranty card was not the one who installed the plumbing, so we had to call around to find out who actually was. The warranty advisor did not explain how to get reimbursement for the water overages. ... More

Very happy with the house! The builder has been extremely responsive to any issues I've had, which have all been purely cosmetic. Staff is extremely warm and friendly. My only complaint is the music ***** of the work crew. I knew I would be moving into an area where we would hear construction noise and machinery, but I never thought music levels would be disruptive. It's common courtesy. The crew has been asked three times to keep music levels at a reasonable volume, and it continues to be a problem. If you are sensitive to these types of issues, think twice. Otherwise, zero complaints!

We are pleased with home workmanship. That said, we are not pleased with the response from Lennar regarding the condition of the sod on the property. During a walk thru on May 5 with project manager, we discussed the poor condition of sod. Up to 4 pieces were replaced and that was still not enough. I have a $115 water bill due, so I know it’s not for lack of watering dead sod. I asked Lennar repeatedly what they will do. This looks like neglect on your part because of when house was completed and watering was sparsely done. The company that installed the sod said it looked fine when they turned the watering over to Lennar. Are there any photos to prove that statement from sod company? This is a stand off of 2 companies passing the blame onto each other. And neither following up to solve my complaints. And in the meantime, this is the only lawn in this block that still look like dead straw no matter how much it’s been watered. Walking in the backyard feels like crunching thru straw! I’ve been in residence for nearly 2 months and the statement about Bermuda grass is NOT valid. This grass is dead according to my True Green expert when he came here in late May for a treatment. Customer service at this point just sucks and I seem to have no recourse. I would say no stars if your system would allow. Maybe a few posts on social media will produce some responses. This has been a bad experience and a big reason why I would tell my friends and family to avoid buying from Lennar. There are 2 many other high production builders to consider. We were first time homebuyers. Lennar really impressed me because of how effortless they make it to buy a home. Everything basically being in house helped tremendously. The same people we dealt with from day 1 were there until closing day. We toured 11 different neighborhoods and Lennars stole the show. The houses looked great, the neighborhood looked awesome and we couldn’t be happier we decided to buy from Lennar. 10 out of 10 recommend!!!

Mark was extremely professional and friendly and made us feel very comfortable on our final walkthrough. Every item that was either noted by Lennar and (importantly) our personal inspector, was corrected. It should be pointed out that most items were very minor, but it demonstrated Lennar’s commitment to quality workmanship.

This was my first home and truth be told, it probably would’ve been better to go through the builder than have a realtor. Once you get past the beginning part, the rest is smooth. Lennar answered all of my questions and responded in a timely matter.

Trent was condescending and only responded when he was making requests and Mary is a liar. This is my first home, BUT it definitely is not my forever home.

Traci the onsite agent was amazing!! She went over and beyond to get me and my daughter into the home we wanted with in our budget. She is definitely an asset to the Lennar family. The lender John was also amazing he is extremely thorough and made sure all needed paperwork was received upfront. Underwriting never came back asking for any additional documents. We closed in less than 30 days James the construction manager is also an asset the the Lennar family. Even after closing he has stopped by and personally fixed odds and ends that have come up and replaced sod and plants that didn’t quite make it through the drought without me even having to ask. Overall I am extremely satisfied with our home buying experience. The only thing I would say needed improvement was the closing process with the attorney. Closing day is already stressful without hiccups but when an issue arises there needs to be a bit more communication as to what is going on. I waited for 2 hours after signing my paperwork before I received my keys and no one could tell me what was going on.i was just told it was a problem with getting funding approval. Turned out to be a signature on the lenders end but I was just asked to sit in the lobby and wait. I personally feel like there were way too many closings in one day and the attorney was not able to give the situation the attention it needed. Outstanding craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout the home. The finishes, layout, and overall design are excellent. The home feels spacious, modern, and very well built. We are extremely happy with our decision and would highly recommend it to others.

I lived out of state when I bought my home and was looking for an easy process being remote. Lennar was exceptional! From the buying to the building, I was given so much helpful information being out of the area. My builder, Ben, went above and beyond to send me pictures and updates so I could track the progress. The quality is phenomenal as well as reinforced by my private inspection which went smoothly. I’ve already gotten many compliments on the design of the home and materials. I had the best experience with Lennar and would buy from them again.

The house is great, and we love the neighborhood. The home is well built and any issues we have had have been promptly addressed. Our concierge was not helpful at any point, and scheduling with them was definitely not easy for working parents. Hopefully they do actually provide a service to others. However, our closing day was a nightmare, with the Lennar Mortgage Team majorly dropping the ball and causing our closing lawyers appointment to run past 6pm on a Friday, after hours of waiting on them to do their part. This cost us hundreds in mover fees while the moving team sat waiting on us in our driveway. I now look back at that day with sadness instead of excitement.
