Being in the first phase of a new community has its ups and downs. The overall process was hectic, but the end results were well worth it. Happy in my new beautiful home.

When you say you want to do something again, is because either it was real bad and you want to make it better, OR, it was so good and seamless that doing it again will just add to your experience! The latter is my case with our recent home purchase from Lennar. From day 1, when we saw the model home, to when we moved into our new place, Lennar was there for us. Their staff is amazing, they treat you right, no BS, from the sales team to the supervisors to the contractors, it really shows how the detail they give into each and every home. Everything so far has worked out for me here in my new home. The only problem my head was the amount that I had to come to closing had changed on me twice with being in contact with my son who also purchased a home in Charlotte from Lennar homes also bringing only $12,000 to the table at closing where I had to bring, I think it was 58,000 closing. I felt that I was paying way too much. It sound good from the beginning but I had to go in so far into the purchasing of this home. I could’ve backed out but Christy who worked with me? Beware of the quality of work done! Lennar just contract everything to third parties. Quality depends on the mercy of third party contractors workmanship. When you leisurely inspect yourself you will find several issues/problems. I would avoid Lennar given a chance!

We've a bunch of issues found after and before closing date. They were not addressed completely and getting them fixed is nightmare. Worst experience with both the properties that bought from lennar at garner & raleigh. Felt like never do business with this builder again!

Our home buying experience has been pretty good. The Lennar representative has walked us though the plans and set the expectations about the build quality and the construction timeline. The moment we signed the contract they started right away working on the project and keep us in loop with construction manager and kept us posted about the progress biweekly. We were living in a different state far away from our building however they were really supportive and kept posting the pictures of our house. The construction has finished on time without any delays and the inspections were right on time. So far we did not had any issues living in the house. One of the manager had sarcastic behavior. totally frustrated with buying process. There are lots of scenarios which describes the builder behaviour.

I am rating because of the issues I faced after I moved in. I booked remotely house in Devon Square and during inspection we showed multiple things but they didn’t fix even after months of move and even after we raised multiple requests. On top of this they also charged me $200 for inspection I dont know what that was for. Also I got the electricity bill dates before the closing date and they are asking me to pay. What ridiculous this is…

Smooth and efficient process. Site Manager in particular was extremely helpful and easy to work with.

buying a property is a big investment and you want to make sure you get the best value for the price, paired with a seamless buying experience. Lenar made the buying decision and process easy with great customer service, good prices and quality properties. Only caveat- their lending services that could be better.

My home buying experience with Lennar was excellent from the sales people to the final walk through! I couldn’t have asked for anything better.

My new home experience can be characterized as above average . I encountered the usual mix of excitement and challenges that come with purchasing a new home. While I appreciate the opportunity to personalize my living space and enjoyed the sense of a fresh start, I also faced minor issues like minor construction imperfections. My overall satisfaction was tempered by the need for extra attention to detail during the buying process and a reminder of the importance of ongoing communication with Lennar to ensure a smooth transition into my new home.

The carpentry and painting was very poor quality. We blue tapes places that was not taken care of.

Had a bad experience with the recent buying process with builders mortgage and couple of sales rep.I am fortunate to close the house on time.

Bought my 2nd townhome with Lennar in wake forest, NC area. All I can say Lennar delivers on time. However their finish quality has gone down significantly, they don’t pay much attention to detail before final walkthrough, even you note the issues it required multiple follow for the same issue. Sales process and customization almost to NIL. They kind of operate in zone of take it or leave it. So unless you are looking for an investment property you kind of avoid even for large single family home. Where color, design, floors, carpets, cabinets are predesigned by Lennar to max 2-3 combined packages for the community. Essentially they keep their profit and cost controlled through standardization. You end up living in house exactly same as all you community neighbors are living. You won’t miss your home if you sleep over in your Neighbours house LOL! Their customer service is prompt in response. It’s another matter they go by exactly as written in contract. This review is after 8 weeks of closing. Price is for the Lennar brand and I don't feel it's worth it. Pros: House Plans, Community, Location, decent customer service team Cons: Subpar Workmanship & Quality during the construction process. Poor finishing of concrete on the front porch and screened porch. Hole in the driveway exposing clay within a month of moving. Poor quality of LVP causing chips/dents. The dishwasher broke on 2nd week. Inadequate disclosure during sales by the sales agent and the agent goes AWOL after the purchase. Uneven flooring causes wide gaps between the floor and trim. Improper positioning of lights and switches. The cleanliness of the house and surrounding was below expectations before delivery. Punch items dispute and resolution with the construction manager was a hassle and still items were left out. Items on the plan were not delivered despite it being on the model home. ... More

When our old house sold in 24 hours and the buyers wanted a 14 day close we thought we would be homeless. I got on the Lennar site and found a home that was move in ready and met our needs I clicked buy now. I received a call shortly there after that the home was sold but there was another one on the same street, that fit our needs even better. The sales agent Ashley guided us through the contract and worked with us by phone and email. We closed in under 30 days, everything was easy and well communicated. Although quick it was a very smooth transition to our new home.

Jason, Shawn, Danielle are all very efficient and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Lennar.

Our process was overall good. The only issue we encountered was electronic. Though we could contact a person, we like talking to a person during the building (financial) process. Our personal contact, Donna was great!

There are lot of repairs and replacements left before closing. And its tedious to follow up on these things. The builder is responsive but many things were listed. And the quality of material is not up to the grade. its been only a month we move and I see cracks. Even the reporting issue is not fixed properly.

This is my first home. I am totally impressed with Lennar and their team. My construction manager is too helpful and acknowledge any thing immediately and act. Totally positive experience

Overall the experience wasvery professional

I financed with Lennar Mortgage, they helped with the best interest rate possible at that time. Home built quality is good. Service requests are attended promptly and timely resolutions are provided.

I feel may be they were bias with me, may be on purpose because I asked for things they had on contract but were not delivering and were finding excuses, some homeowner says they got lots of thing as add on to their house, but I got nothing. well construction manager was so rude that he does not want to fix visible dent on garage floor, then paint issues and even had provided wrong paint code and when I did touch up with that paint code it does not match the wall paint they had painted, exact paint is not available within 40 miles of Garner NC, and they don't give sample to homeowner for touch ups. finance team will lure you by saying they give 5k or 10k towards closing cost if you finance with them, but actually they just want to get that money back to their own finance company account in the name of buying point. as the lower rate is already available outside but due to that 5k or 10k offer you get in their trap. there is no escalation process, like I literally have to google to find some contacts to escalate the matter and the horrible part is that nobody called or talked to understand all the concern. must say there are other builders doing really great as I had seen some other friends getting best in class house as well as service from entire team. Lennar does not care to even talk to customer, at-least for me they were not. other homeowner in my same community says they took care of all the issues and gave them extra appliances and fixed few things on curtsey but for me they discriminated and were bias . ...
