it is just another builder who doesn't care about customer, you ask for something after giving them money and they make you slave. They don't have any good communication process or steps, there is a big time disconnect between sales, construction manager, underwriter, loan officers, they don't talk to each other at all, so frustrating process.

This review is after 8 weeks of closing. Price is for the Lennar brand and I don't feel it's worth it. Pros: House Plans, Community, Location, decent customer service team Cons: Subpar Workmanship & Quality during the construction process. Poor finishing of concrete on the front porch and screened porch. Hole in the driveway exposing clay within a month of moving. Poor quality of LVP causing chips/dents. The dishwasher broke on 2nd week. Inadequate disclosure during sales by the sales agent and the agent goes AWOL after the purchase. Uneven flooring causes wide gaps between the floor ...

Beautiful homes, average quality

The buying process was fairly smooth. The home itself is beautiful, but definitely disappointed overall in the quality now that I am moved in. Issues arising as time goes on - major one being electrical work. An outlet in the garage was not working right off the bat - it was installed improperly. That was foreshadowing for the electrical issues that have arisen with breakers constantly tripping and lights and fans flickering. I had hopes with new construction that sound from connecting townhomes would be a non issue - but could not have been more wrong. I am confident I know every time my ...

First and foremost construction was delayed a little bit . Originally they committed to close the house on October, but they handed me new home on November and also HOA monthly fees little bit high compared to other neighborhood considering this neighborhood doesn’t have any swimming pool clubhouse , dog park, children play area or any sort of amenities .I felt we paid a high price for the home

I absolutely love the location and community. The workmanship is quite good, and I'm pleased with my purchase. The construction manager, Sam, provided top-notch service, and he went out of his way to assist me several times. Sam was the bright spot. My experience elsewhere was disappointing, to say the least. My top complaint is the poor communication with me and within the Lennar functional areas. I often received conflicting information or was provided with information that wasn't true. For example, I was told (in writing) that once I took possession, I could set up my cable service with ...

Mice were living in the garage before closing the house.

After several weeks of struggling with mice making nests in my garage, and after the fact of my service ticket was rejected because it was considered a nature issue. I decided to open the drywall of the water heater tank base, and I found a rat had made a hole in the concrete insulation between the garage and my guest room. Everything indicates that they were living in the garage before closing the house. Lennar didn't seal the base and the rat (considering the hole size) was able to go inside during the construction phase. Make sure you had everything inspected before you close on the ...

The quality of materials, craftsmanship and lack of choices makes this builder average. The salesmanship leaves you believing you will need getting a custom created too quality home. In reality it's average at best.

In a volatile market Lennar offers a good value. Unfortunately the home you chose might as well have been already been built. No choice of upgrades, colors, etc. We liked the community, floor plan but wished we could have made it more to our personal taste. Ended up spending more money to make changes, color schemes to our taste, frustrating part of an otherwise exciting experience of building a new house.

I really like the layout of my house but was very disappointed in Lennar's lack of pride in the quality of workmanship. There were way too many punch list items. Most were taken care of but some will be addressed at the year review.

The style, floor plan and woodwork in the house are very nice. However, we have significant concerns about several major unresolved quality and workmanship issues dating back to before the home completed construction that we plan to address with Lennar directly. It is our intention to schedule a meeting with Lennar management representatives as soon as possible. We would be thrilled to hear from Lennar.

Lennar could do better. In an effort to push out as many homes as possible, they missed the mark on quality and service. It’s unfortunate because it could be a great value, and many of the people involved want to provide a better product and experience.

The granite counter in the kitchen appears to be of second quality with chips along the edges and even in the center, it lacks that rich, smooth feel usually found on good quality granite. The kitchen and vanity cabinet doors were not properly adjusting banging into walls and other cabinets. A tremendous amount of drywall debris and dust in brand new duct work being sucked into the air handler in the attic and blown throughout the vents of the home. Cracks in cement driveway going from one side all the way over to the other side, sealed and then painted so as not to be noticed but instead it ...

My expectations weren't high and Lennar met them

What can I say, it's new construction by a national builder that has to build quickly and cheaply. They boast their energy efficiency but use a construction grade electric hot water heater and there's no additional insulation in the attic. Cabinets are already chipping and we've only been here 5 months.

Before purchasing, I was made to feel important. The day after closing, major water issues surfaced. From that point, I no longer felt important to Lennar. It took 20 days for the water issue to be fixed. I was not compensated for being displaced during that time. My time nor delayed moving plans were not considered at all. My first month mortgage was not prorated. As a first time homebuyer, it was awful and traumatic! It was a nightmare! I closed on March 1st, and, I'm still awaiting a reply from Lennar management. Lennar has yet to rise to the occasion and make this situation right. At ...

Cheap materials but bad workmanship is the worst part

The sales process was great, and the person helping me handle the paperwork was responsive. The Lennar insurance team is terrible in that you have to chase them down for them to do their job, and even then, they don't do a good job at following through the whole process and ensuring your policy is in effect. They blame their system and customers for emails not being sent. The workmanship is terrible, and the place is filthy. Construction workers have no respect for the property, and you need to spend hours and close to a thousand dollars cleaning the place and shampooing the carpet. The ...

Average new home experience. Upon sale very limited and poor follow-up experience having to chase up, and chase up on outstanding issues and concerns. At times, I felt my concerns were not taken seriously... concerns related to a brand new home experience for very, very poor customer care and follow up experience. Landscaping around the house when I moved in was deplorable and still today 5 weeks later is no better off. The utilities together with Lennar wish not to take ownership of very poor landscaping, that has been heavily torn up. This should be replaced, as I paid for a brand new ...

Nice House - But Features Misrepresented

We really like our house overall. As with any large builder, we continue to find examples of shoddy workmanship and sloppy trim work. Our biggest issue was the fact we specifically asked about hardwoods on the entire first floor of the house and were told the house we were looking at would have hardwoods on the entire first floor. Upon flooring being installed carpet was placed in the guest bedroom, and the builder said that was the spec for the house. This is a small room and would have been a very simple and cheap fix for Lennar, but they simply do not care.
