If I wouldn't have lost my deposit I would have backed out of this purchase. I visited the home site just about every week during construction. I was always finding discrepancies and poor workmanship. They would fix just enough to appease me but it was still just the minimum. A crack in the slab almost all the way across from one side to the other, crooked wall plates, waves in the walls, loose studs, gaps in the sheathing, poor scarf joints in the molding, the list goes on. I told the construction manager that he needed to correct the subs for their poor work and was told "if we're too hard ...

Delivery of house without cleaning

Multiple callout provided on Poor workmanship, Finally the Construction Manager, said that is the design of Lennar and they have seen the pattern in all houses. The design of structure is poor. On the day of closing , got the key and opened the door with lots of dreams, happiness and excitement, shattered into pieces looking at the with so much dirt. Called the construction manager, sales manager and they were not available. Latter received the call saying he personally check and house is clean. This is the quality Lennar provides.

I bought an investment property recently from Lennar. Overall very bad experience, not worth the price I paid, I was talked into this by realtor was compensated on top of the regular commissions for selling a bunch of units over a weekend. They are allowing a huge chunk of the community for investors which is not ideal for the primary residents or investors. Their interest rates are really high and the overall experience with their lender was worse. They keep asking for same documents, very chaotic, confused all the time. Not friendly and my way is highway attitude

Sales representative Mary Ann is the very rude and not responsive to address the question and refuse to meet in person despite repeated attempts. Home orientation session is rushed and don’t cover everything but expect the DocuSign be signed which makes it one way and not two way. Overall, Lennar do not have customer empathy as a service and not a satisfactory feeling. They are not trust worthy when reported the damage on delivery and don’t practice the code uniformly. I will not buy a home with Lennar next time

Quality of workmanship is POOR

Homes are built with little to no pride of workmanship, just slap the homes up as fast as possible and any mistakes are overlooked or covered up with putty and paint.

Entire process in terms of signing/closing was ok but communication could be better. Construction team is very poor in communication and status update and can’t keep up with meeting timings. Overall quality, workmanship and materials were very poor. It is surely not matching what Lennar wow on their website about quality. We had many issues in terms of quality of overall construction. I wish I could give a higher rating because I love the layout and space of our new townhome but we just had a difficult road getting here. The home buying process went smoothly until we took over ownership. Within a few days of closing our AC unit was stolen leaving us responsible for all charges. Lennar was very helpful in helping us find someone to replace it but it was an additional cost we did not forsee. Terrible sellers agent

Had an absolutely horrible experience with the sellers agent in getting the unit that I wanted. The agent would not respond to my agent and then I lost out of 3 different properties I was ready to sign and go under contract on. There were no accommodations made which was ridiculous. I also had many issues with Lennar trying to play the role as my Lender making the entire process absolutely horrific. Due to this I will likely never buy with Lennar again, nor would I recommend.

1. The drainage systems in the Edge of Auburn are terrible. I feel ripped off on my yard. It could have been avoiding by grading the land. 2. Concrete cracks 3. Weeds and bugs everywhere 4. Land developers are taking forever to install street lights and dog trash bins 5. Hotwire communications is terrible

Not a great experience. House was dirty when we went to move in, lots of unfixed items and very disappointed. Felt like it was a last minute rushjob and they were just trying to get out of the neighborhood. Not sure I’m able to recommend Lennar.

Below par quality. Lot of cosmetic issues. You charge premium price but your house quality is far below than premium From the issues I see looks like there is no quality inspection done for cosmetic issues before handing over to customer. Pathetic paint job. Grade C. Cleanliness issues Take the accountability. Value the customer and be respectful.

They did not kept their promises and I ended up buying rates down and spend more in the closing. Do not recommended using Lennar mortgage.

When I complained about HVAC - response was "It is not life threatening and it will take time to get it done. Now they have postponed one more week - after 10 days". You will hear gaps in the doors, on the VPC floor. None of your requests will be addressed at any stage of the process. Better to stay away from Lennar in future, if possible.

Upon first look, everything looks fantastic when the keys are turned over. However, the real problems show up after a couple of weeks of living n the house. After being told during our new homeowner orientation that we would have a 1 year walk-through to fix any issues that come up in the first year, we were informed that Lennar no longer performed this and everything had to be submitted through the Warranty system. I have had nothing but problems since buying. There have been numerous issues with warranty work that is very unreliable. Upon move in we were told the house would be cleaned. Not o LT were there con webs in the corners but there is still paint on the floors that I, myself, am cleaning over time. There has not been a time that warranty work has been scheduled and kept. They are always late or don’t show at all. I would not recommend anyone to buy from Lennar as it stands now. I know that I myself would hate to go through this experience again.

I think I will come direct to the issue. Tony, who was previous construction mgr, was understanding and able to make myself and wife comfortable with the home given its newly constructed and with followup issues which are understandable. However, Tom who took over wasn't customer focused or neither informative. I need to call him almost 10 times to have the same issue addressed, as each time they would fix it temporarily. And now I am still having issues with my doors and he seems to have his own explanation on how those specific doors should work vs rest of the doors.
