We are happy with the home, and the process EXCEPT the mortgage process. I do not recommend Lennar Mortgage. They do not seem to know what documents are needed, and will keep asking for documents until the day of closing, and even after closing. They are also doing heavy data collection - many of the questions asked seem to have no relevance to the mortgage.

I am very happy to buy Lennar’s home because home are very beautiful and they are very high quality.

So far it's been great. We been loving the house. It's calm and very spacious. Lennar has been good to us. We like everything except the bathroom near the kitchen and that outside we sometimes have a big puddle after the rain. Overall we like it.

I was very pleased with the overall experience working with Lennar. Providing necessary documents was fast and easy. Communication was consistent, with call-backs generally within same day. Having a full one-year warranty on the home allows piece of mind. Overall, it was a great experience working with Lennar!

The buying experience was very organized. The process was explained well and we were given periodic updates. We actually used the builder’s mortgage company which made the whole process go smoothly. The quality of the craftsmanship leaves a lot to be desired. The sub-contractors don’t show pride in their work. The overall site/home supervisor does not put my effort in presenting a good product. The materials used on construction are definitely builder grade even if you purchase the elite package. For example the towel rods and toilet paper holders are plastic and didn’t match anything else in the bathrooms. In less than a month we have had to submit over 10 work orders to correct issues. We did a number of walk through during the building process but the issues continue to develop. On a positive note, they have addressed the issues. The landscaping was pretty much dead when we closed. Many of the plants had already died and they are not covered under warranty. We have spent hundreds of dollars replacing. The home floor plans are nice but there is absolutely NO changes or additions permitted. We wanted to add a 240v outlet in garage for electric car, and willing to pay for it, but they refused. Wanted to have a higher quality and more efficient HVAC installed but refused. Wanted to add a couple more wall outlets but again it was refused. They simply said you can do these after closing. Why would I pay to have another HVAC system installed after a brand new one removed. Overall I like the area but you need to constantly check on the builder so corners are not cut. I had very good opinion about Lennar before buying the house. After seeing process and the way it was constructed. My feeling is construction quality has reduced a lot. Also major concern is addressing the identified issues. The team is closing the issues with out properly addressing which is not fair.

I bought the house as a broker and the sales team didn't mention the bonus they were giving to the other brokers for the house in that community. The lender team was very irresponsible. They provided Closing Disclosures the day before closing after repeatedly asking for it.

A great deal and a good experience

I was a little wary of buying a new home from Lennar given the mixed reviews online, but Lennar exceeded my expectations. The construction manager kept me in the know throughout the build process and answered all of my questions as a first time home buyer. Even when there was a slight delay to my close date for reasons outside their control, they were extremely transparent. Even after close they were extraordinarily responsive to my requests. They would swing by the same day to fix small problems like ill-fitting door jambs and missing appliance toe-kicks. When I had my first warranty request for the attic access door, they fixed it within a week of our virtual call and made sure it was fixed to my satisfaction. As with any new build, there are small workmanship issues here and there. But as my inspector will attest, the quality of this home excellent and the price was hard to beat. ... More

The Lennar staff is easy to work with and always professional and helpful. Their patience was calming for my first time purchase by myself.

We are really pleased with the construction quality of our new home. Our construction manager Wyatt did a great job and was able to deliver the home on schedule!

I have to admit I was not looking to buy new construction after all the horror stories I had heard and read about. However, the deal on the Lennar home I ended up purchasing was too good to pass up. I believe the workmanship and choice of materials has been better than expected. Of course, nothing is perfect and there have been a few very minor issues so far but the response from the warranty team has been excellent. Fingers crossed that as time goes on, there are no hidden problems that reveal themselves, but so far, so good!

Concrete work is subpar, and the tolerance for Lennar's acceptance is unacceptable. Finance bounce is a game. The broker can't read the tax return and treats the customer like trash because of the bounce. Lennar should do something about it. I lost $10000, maybe the loan officer didn't like my accent.

Every information shared was in detail. All the questions were answered. People are very kind and cooperative

This was our first time home. The experience was pretty good start from booking to closing . Lennar not only takes care of you at every step of the home but also makes sure that you are settled happily .the service request are also taken care in a timely manner . Happy with my decision

Overall quality is OK - biggest complaint is the sheer amount of trash left over from the builders. Rusty metal pins, screws/nails, shingles, concrete pour-over from the patio in the grass. Nightmare for anyone with kids or pets!!

During the inspection before the house was delivered, we found that the concrete floor of the garage was cracked into spider webs. This is not what a new house should look like. We understand that the concrete cannot be dug out and re-poured after it is poured. We just asked for repairs until the floor looks crack-free. But your staff was perfunctory. They simply applied a layer to cover the floor. But the cracks in the concrete are still clearly visible. When we communicated and negotiated again, your people threatened that if we did not close the deal, they would confiscate our deposit. So this is the last house we bought from Lennar. We will also tell our friends not to buy houses from Lennar. ... More

If I wouldn't have lost my deposit I would have backed out of this purchase. I visited the home site just about every week during construction. I was always finding discrepancies and poor workmanship. They would fix just enough to appease me but it was still just the minimum. A crack in the slab almost all the way across from one side to the other, crooked wall plates, waves in the walls, loose studs, gaps in the sheathing, poor scarf joints in the molding, the list goes on. I told the construction manager that he needed to correct the subs for their poor work and was told "if we're too hard on them they'll quit and go work for someone else". Having some construction experience and seeing the things I saw during the build, I would not recommend this builder to anyone I considered a friend. ... More

Everyone we worked with was great

I’d like to recognize Parker our CM who did an incredible job following through on issues raised and his focus on the customer. Also, Donna, the loan agent, was just a great person to work with! Both of these folks are A+ in my book…Thank you both!

The experience was wonderful and the builder were great too , at the final stage of the paper work I had a really bad experience and I don’t want anyone to go thru that again it was at the point that I got so much anxiety that got sick and ended up in the hospital for 24 hours ….. She should be more professional with her work and at time needs to learn how to treat first time buyer ….. at that end of the wonderful day it just made me feel like really bad … But now I’m so happy other people have been great and I thank you all

Lennar delivered right on time as promised. It was disappointing that even the smallest request ( leave the wire clothing rods off and I’ll do my own) was not even considered. Mackenzie (sales representative) was snarky and hard to deal with. I also wanted a small name change from the contract to the closing documents and wouldn’t even consider ( cost me an additional $82 to add a quit claim deed to make name change after closing) and I paid cash for the home. I am very satisfied with the overall construction and appliances; though w/d could be more sturdy.
