Our Loan officer did not update us about the interest Rate for 5 months.We received email fr Him the 1st time July 2023 and got the last email Dec 2023 that our interest needs to be locked in.We were not given choices for 5 months.I was not Happy about at all with Lennar.

I’m extremely happy with Lennar. The whole home buying process was very smooth. Excellent communication and they were always on top of the things and proactive in sharing information. I would definitely recommend Lennar.

Not happy with all the investors that bought here and turned them into rentals. Did not buy a place to live in a rental community, would have bought somewhere else.

As a previous lennar home owner we know lenanr is very average in construction quality and materials. Finishing doesn’t look great, we can clearly see rifts in the baseboard, squeaky noises from the floors. Just that the location of this site is good and that’s the only reason we bought this property.otherwise nothing to be proud about. Lot size is a joke just 0.13 acres. The pace at which the house was built gave us a hint that the construction quality is questionable and true to that our doubts were proven correct.

The whole team with Lennar made the homebuying process very easy and enjoyable. From the initial sales group, to the personal Concierge and the contractor, they were all amazing to talk to and work with through the entire process. We are so happy to be part of the new Maple Ridge Community and look forward to many years here!

Very responsive builders at the Rosedale subdivision.

When we first met RJ, the sales rep, in November, he told us that the prices had been reduced considerably because Lennar needed to sell all of their inventory by the end of December 2023, in order to be able to build new homes in Franklinton. He lead me to believe that the prices would go back up in the new year and that these prices were almost “too good to be true.” This caused “the fear of missing out” within me, so I was compelled to sell my home on Opendoor (the only way Lennar accepts contingencies), for a $30-40K loss. That would have been fine if the Lennar homes truly had been cut as RJ mentioned, but now in 2024 all the new homes in this community are being listed for roughly the same prices they were being sold for in November – December, causing me to question the trustworthiness of RJ’s information. Had I known that, I would not have sold my house on Opendoor, but would have sold it on the market and waited to buy one of the new homes in this community in 2024. I feel that this was a shady sales tactic, and your sales reps should not give misleading information to induce the fear of missing out. Overall decent experience. This is not our first purchase from Lennar. Construction manager and sales staff were good. Lennar mortgage consultants are barely ever available to talk on the phone. Good closing incentive by the seller.

Overall the house is nice and Lennar knows what the consumer wants for interior layout. However I feel some sub contractors need to be fired. First off our trim is a disaster. Nicks and missing chunks everywhere like they used bottoms of the barrel wood and slapped some paint on it. Second, Lennar really failed on the paint. Single coat (lightly done at that) is completely unacceptable at this price point. Third, this one we knew from the start but still needs to be mention, how much more is it to just prime the garage and not leave the walls bare. That is just straight nickel and diming. Fourth, the cleaners need to be fired. Every single trim and switch/outlet cover had thick dust. Did they even clean pre closing besides a vacuum? There are plenty of other areas that we know they cheaped out on but some is more acceptable than others. One huge disappointment for the wife was that we were in the highest package, their “elite” but our front door was basic steel. Some of the low grade packages got a nice front door with windows. Nowhere in our package info did it state anything about the front door but the color. Huge oversight and upsetting. Now for the people that state oh you get NHO time to mark it all off, they give you such a small amount of time to look over the house after they spend over a hour explaining things on the house with you. So things get missed. Plus things get marked that never get repaired before closing and it’s touch to remember where all the blue tape was. Last item. Dining room chandelier light. They leave a box for it that is center between the 4 recessed lights. However no one would ever put a table there, that would be in the middle of the walk way. In side Drywall filling is worse, we can able to hear the fan noise in bathroom from the attic. Even if the exhaust fan is on in any bathroom, we can able to hear the noice in Sittings area or in the Kitchen. Our Rented Apartment is much better in terms of privacy( we cannot hear the people chatting voice from one Bedroom to another.) I have asked the same with construction manager and he skipped to answer on this issue. Over, my experience with Lenner is worse.

This is our first Lennar home. Having purchased DR Horton in the past we had some expectations already and Lennar blew them out of the park.

Our construction manager Graham was awesome . He has a friendly and approachable attitude and find’s resolution for any kind of issues that we reported. The sales staff Marcela and Tommy were also very efficient and helped us in a smooth home buying experience. Thank you Lennar team.

Good location but not prices

Did a poor job at landscaping, sod was not put down properly and was dead in quite a few places.

I am sad I used an outside realtor who was not the best; however, the Lennar staff has been amazing both during and after the process. Juan, Daniel, David, Jason have all been amazing!! We did have some minor electrical issues, but they corrected everything promptly once I reached out to them.

The process started off great! Everyone was nice and the communication was excellent. Our closing date was pushed back three times due to permits building issues. Each new closing date we were promised everything would be ready to go by the new closing date and that was never the case. We were told all blue tape issues and the overall home would be done before we moved in and they were not. Even after we closed on the home there were still blue tape issues that had never been fixed so we have a list of work orders to submit.

Being in the first phase of a new community has its ups and downs. The overall process was hectic, but the end results were well worth it. Happy in my new beautiful home.

When you say you want to do something again, is because either it was real bad and you want to make it better, OR, it was so good and seamless that doing it again will just add to your experience! The latter is my case with our recent home purchase from Lennar. From day 1, when we saw the model home, to when we moved into our new place, Lennar was there for us. Their staff is amazing, they treat you right, no BS, from the sales team to the supervisors to the contractors, it really shows how the detail they give into each and every home. If we ever go thru this again....it WILL be a Lennar home! ... More

Everything so far has worked out for me here in my new home. The only problem my head was the amount that I had to come to closing had changed on me twice with being in contact with my son who also purchased a home in Charlotte from Lennar homes also bringing only $12,000 to the table at closing where I had to bring, I think it was 58,000 closing. I felt that I was paying way too much. It sound good from the beginning but I had to go in so far into the purchasing of this home. I could’ve backed out but Christy who worked with me? Beware of the quality of work done! Lennar just contract everything to third parties. Quality depends on the mercy of third party contractors workmanship. When you leisurely inspect yourself you will find several issues/problems. I would avoid Lennar given a chance!

We've a bunch of issues found after and before closing date. They were not addressed completely and getting them fixed is nightmare. Worst experience with both the properties that bought from lennar at garner & raleigh. Felt like never do business with this builder again!

Our home buying experience has been pretty good. The Lennar representative has walked us though the plans and set the expectations about the build quality and the construction timeline. The moment we signed the contract they started right away working on the project and keep us in loop with construction manager and kept us posted about the progress biweekly. We were living in a different state far away from our building however they were really supportive and kept posting the pictures of our house. The construction has finished on time without any delays and the inspections were right on time. So far we did not had any issues living in the house. One of the manager had sarcastic behavior. totally frustrated with buying process. There are lots of scenarios which describes the builder behaviour.

I am rating because of the issues I faced after I moved in. I booked remotely house in Devon Square and during inspection we showed multiple things but they didn’t fix even after months of move and even after we raised multiple requests. On top of this they also charged me $200 for inspection I dont know what that was for. Also I got the electricity bill dates before the closing date and they are asking me to pay. What ridiculous this is…
