I do not feel Lennar has the owners as their priority or main concern. I feel that that "no" is the first response to most requests. Definitely do not feel that Lennar has gone out of their way to make sure I was a satisfied owner.

Love my home but it was a rough start

Upon moving in found out that my water had been turned off. Lennar had the city turn off my water which cost me $100 to have it turned off after hours. The day after moving in I went to do a load of laundry in the upstairs laundry room. About 30 minutes into the load water started pouring from the ceiling and into my dining room downstairs. I immediately turned off the water to the washer but it was too late. It turns out the drainage hose from the washer wasn't secured properly. Severe damage had been done. Repairs took 9-10 days and included commercial fans, ripping out floors, insulation ...

I bought a new home built by Lennar and moved in about 4 months ago. I previously owned an old home and this is my first brand new home purchase. The build quality is about averagefor a new home. I rate their customer service as above average. This is advertized as a ei (everything included) and wifi certified home. The integration of smart devices is a little disappointing. They are not really well integrated as one system but rather a collection of individual devices. My biggest complain is sound insulation. I’ve reported issues prior to moving in that still haven’t been fixed! They keep changing workers that don’t know the previous reported issues! They used recycled wood to rebuild the house which ive asked to be replaced now three times. The cement has a huge bulge in the backyard and they spray painted the ground around the whole house and stained the cement! Paint wasn’t done and they say i have to use my one time touch up to fix it even though it was never done in the first place as well as the grout in the master bathroom. Back slider door doesnt close properly, trim around the whole house ...

The workmanship ,details final finish in out was very sloppy. Have someone inspect the work while in process and be more detail oriented.

We have a pair of defective double panel window install and found out after we close the sale. Garding and landscaping need to work on how to manage the water drainage system works for the long term of the house. Buying a house is long term investment perhaps and I hope the builder can focus more on quality control and extend customer care after the house is closed.
