I asked why the overhead lights weren’t centered over the bar and was told they do it that way intentionally. My electrician and interior designer thought it was shoddy construction. There are 9 lights in the kitchen ceiling and no 3 in a straight line in any direction. Overhead lights no even grounded. I feel liike everything is the cheapest available.

I was so pleased with my experience with Lennar. I had never purchased a new build before, so I was a little wary. The buying process was really smooth and I felt like they were really willing to work with me to make it happen. The whole crew was friendly and responsive. When final walk throughs were happening, I felt like they really wanted to make sure that any/all issues were addressed so that my home was perfect. There were only a few minor touch ups (mostly cosmetic). I truly only have two things to say that aren’t positive. First of all, my HOA fee was never accurately disclosed - it ended up being about 40/month more than what was on paper. Second, I have an EV and was told the garage had an outlet for charging. There is a NEMA 14-30 R, which technically could work, but the vast majority of home charging equipment has a NEMA 14-50 plug, so I will either need to hunt down a unique box or have a NEMA 14-50 installed in order to fully charge my car overnight. I bought and financed through Lennar so I’d say I got a fairly good deal. All equipment and appliances included saving me the hassle of shopping for each items individually. The frustrating part of the whole buying process was the Mortage team always asking for the same documents. To make it worse they give you only 24hrs to upload it.

As a first time home owner, my questions were mostly answered. Experience was good and follow up after moving in was mostly good. My seller agent and customer care representative were very good to work with.

Glad we had our own realtor to help guide us through the process with them but Lennar did an excellent job working with us and our realtor. Our realtor was impressed and said it was one of the best experiences she had with a builder and our home inspector said the same thing. The post-purchase support has been excellent and our warranty liaison has been fantastic.

First disappointment is that I wasn’t made aware of the promotions going on at the time I went to visit the community. property I tried to talked them into transferring my deposit to one of the models on promotion but got denied. Moving day came, it was a hot weekend and AC wasn’t working at all. Made an emergency call to have it checked. Found the AC had faulty wiring, 2 nights without AC. BTW, filter was also filthy and customer service did replaced it but it took 6 weeks. Garage, patio and porch are still looking filthy with discoloration. Customer service agreed to washed it but we didn’t do it cuz we just moved and our personal stuff are still a mess in the garage. Anyway it may not be worthy after all. It should not have been handed down to buyer like that… Sliding screen door wheel was faulty, and master bath towel holder is short so it keeps falling. Irrigation system in the backyard was leaking. Sewer/utility caps on the driveway was not bolted down. We encountered all these issues while moving in… It’s not the best work I expected from Lennar since this is my 2nd home. Lennar provided me with an amazing home purchase experience. The responsiveness from day one has been amazing. I called to schedule a tour and was able to view the house the same day. My Lennar Sales Rep was Michelle. She was personable and professional. She showed me two homes, which helped me to know which one was calling my name. I was so impressed with the style and quality of the home. The added benefits of installed blinds, dishwasher, gas range, refrigerator, microwave, washer, and dryer were really nice perks. Michelle walked me through the application and pre-approval processes. She enabled me to view the home several more times during the escrow phase. I enjoyed working with Stacy at Lennar Mortgage, and they offered the lowest interest rate. After loan approval, Lennar ensured an amazing introduction to my new home with a Celebration/New Home Orientation. James, the Lennar representative, provided the orientation, and he had a wealth of information to share. He made the experience fun and proved to be my advocate for small things that needed attention. A week later, on my escrow closing date, James rolled out the red carpet and provided my Zero-Defect Walk-Through/Final Orientation. Everything that James and I had discussed had been handled, and I was the happy owner of a brand-new Lennar home. At this stage, I was introduced to Lennar Customer Care Representative Eric, who assured me that he would be available if I had any questions or concerns in the future. He introduced me to the Lennar App and website for ease of scheduling service requests. Eric has been such a joy to work with. He is quick to respond and resolve any issues that have arisen so far. I love my new home even though I had to wait until around retirement age. I got a good deal and I like Lennar homes. They have come right out to fix any problems. You can't go wrong

While the layout works for our needs, there are several issues that reflect a lack of attention to detail and some questionable material choices. One of the bedroom doors is misaligned and does not close properly. Another door swing past their stop and hit the walls, Light switches have been placed behind the door making them inconvenient to reach. We also had to arrange for pest control shortly after moving in due to an ant problem—something we didn’t expect in a newly built home. We were surprised by the builder's decision to install a hybrid water heater, which may be efficient but has mixed reviews. The drawer slides throughout the home are basic, similar to what you'd find in an entry-level apartment, and don’t match the expectations for a new single-family home. Overall, the home is okay, but the quality feels average. These kinds of issues add up and affect the overall experience. Future buyers should take time to look closely at finishes, fixtures, and layout decisions before finalizing their purchase. ... More

Bathroom shower glass and shower head are low quality as are the window blinds throughout the house. Price was fair and willing to negotiate. Landscaping needs some improvements.

Over all slow response from Lennar mostly and not much helpful,Lennar needs to be better in customer support and home construction quality, though David helped me and I really appreciate it.

Do NOT do any upgrades with Macadam Flooring! Poor quality of product, expensive, and poor quality of workmanship. I will never buy another Lennar home and I WILL NEVER RECOMEND LENNAR COMPANY!

We purchased a home from Lennar and the people on the team made the difference in the process. It started from the first contact with making the appointment and the followup along the way. Alina was so helpful and accommodating throughout the process, willing to meet us at the site go over options. We were from out of town and she went out of her way to meet up with us when we were in town. The GC on the job was super helpful and made sure the process on the build was smooth and I felt easy even being in another state. It was the entire team that made it great

Financing was great experience. However, I wasn’t pleased with being told the HOA was not going to be an issue-I’ve still not been able to get my approval and the HOA sends out warning and threats weekly. You shouldn’t lie to prospective buyers. I also am not satisfied with the materials used -such as fence materials and glass shower doors or the cheap plastic bath tub/shower stall. Not to mention a “hybrid “ water heater that doesn’t heat at all. I now need to spend $5000 to change it out. My side yard is exposed to the public- who regularly throw trash on my yard and dog poop. Plus the yard DOES NOT drain water-DISAPPOINTED!!! I feel completely taken advantage of. ... More

The experience was amazing it was easier than purchasing a car they walked you through each step no hassle no pushing you to buy and the craftsmanship for the money you pay is spot on and Lynette from Lennar was amazing to work with thank you very much for your help my family will forever be grateful

We have had so many great responses to all our questions and concerns, which we really appreciate, with the only exception being an issue to a landscaping problem which we feel is not being addressed..hopefully this will get resolved as we will not give up!

Good house buying experience. Not happy with the ARC/property management. With a ARC this restrictive they need 3 car garages as an option for their homes!

The buying part was relatively easy. Although, I was never sure of who to talk to. From the mortgage agent, realtor, home buying agent, new purchase coordinator, to the walkthrough agent. The paint is pretty low quality, so if you have kids you’ll be either doing touch ups all the time or repainting with a paint that will last if washed. For the price of the house I was shocked it didn’t come with soft close cabinets and drawers. Landscape is done cheaply. The company would rather throw mulch down instead of sod or rock. My yard has drainage issues that makes it impossible to walk on the grass during any sort of rain and the company does not seem to care about the issue after investing. The warranty agent will tell you one thing and then walk it back after the work has been completed and not up to what they said they were going to do. ... More

Was promised several options for internet in this area by the customer support manager and PDF. Bought the home and moved in to discover I only have 1 option and it’s the worst internet provider in the area. After the initial work through areas that needed to be approved weren’t address by the time we did a 2nd walkthrough. I have coworkers that were looking to buy in the area and have drove them away from Lennar after my terrible experience.

Sales experience was not a great experience. The premium lot charge was not explained well and varied from lot to lot, and was never mentionend in early discussions of homes. The construction team is a whole other story. They were great from the walk throughs to a couple of repairs needed after moving in. Well organized and timely.

Buying a home should be an exciting time, but after a life-sucking buying experience the excitement is long gone. We were lied to by the community representative. Multiple issues with the lender. Couple that with once you're in the house issue after issue pops up. Quality control issues that were missed while by the builder and then us while being rushed through our new home orientation. The things we did point out still not being done when we move in. Looking more closely at all the finishes around the house and realizing how sloppy the craftsmanship is. Drywall chunks still around the showers... the list goes on. I almost walked away right before closing and I feel like I should have. The one positive is that the warranty team has been very helpful with the claims I have submitted after being in the house 1 month. ... More

The townhome is a quick build, no frills, very basic shower heads and the plastic toilets lids, single paint on walls, carpet has no pad very cheap carpet, with tack strip that was not nailed down properly and walking in the house with socks my feet get picked, sloppy trim work and texture finish

Beautiful home and friendly, helpful, responsive staff. Great experience for a first time new home purchaser.
