I asked why the overhead lights weren’t centered over the bar and was told they do it that way intentionally. My electrician and interior designer thought it was shoddy construction. There are 9 lights in the kitchen ceiling and no 3 in a straight line in any direction. Overhead lights no even grounded. I feel liike everything is the cheapest available.

I was so pleased with my experience with Lennar. I had never purchased a new build before, so I was a little wary. The buying process was really smooth and I felt like they were really willing to work with me to make it happen. The whole crew was friendly and responsive. When final walk throughs were happening, I felt like they really wanted to make sure that any/all issues were addressed so that my home was perfect. I bought and financed through Lennar so I’d say I got a fairly good deal. All equipment and appliances included saving me the hassle of shopping for each items individually. The frustrating part of the whole buying process was the Mortage team always asking for the same documents. To make it worse they give you only 24hrs to upload it.

Glad we had our own realtor to help guide us through the process with them but Lennar did an excellent job working with us and our realtor. Our realtor was impressed and said it was one of the best experiences she had with a builder and our home inspector said the same thing. The post-purchase support has been excellent and our warranty liaison has been fantastic.

First disappointment is that I wasn’t made aware of the promotions going on at the time I went to visit the community. property I tried to talked them into transferring my deposit to one of the models on promotion but got denied. Moving day came, it was a hot weekend and AC wasn’t working at all. Made an emergency call to have it checked. Found the AC had faulty wiring, 2 nights without AC. BTW, filter was also filthy and customer service did replaced it but it took 6 weeks. Garage, patio and porch are still looking filthy with discoloration. Lennar provided me with an amazing home purchase experience. The responsiveness from day one has been amazing. I called to schedule a tour and was able to view the house the same day. My Lennar Sales Rep was Michelle. She was personable and professional. She showed me two homes, which helped me to know which one was calling my name. While the layout works for our needs, there are several issues that reflect a lack of attention to detail and some questionable material choices. One of the bedroom doors is misaligned and does not close properly. Another door swing past their stop and hit the walls, Light switches have been placed behind the door making them inconvenient to reach. We purchased a home from Lennar and the people on the team made the difference in the process. It started from the first contact with making the appointment and the followup along the way. Alina was so helpful and accommodating throughout the process, willing to meet us at the site go over options. We were from out of town and she went out of her way to meet up with us when we were in town. The GC on the job was super helpful and made sure the process on the build was smooth and I felt easy even being in another state. It was the entire team that made it great

Financing was great experience. However, I wasn’t pleased with being told the HOA was not going to be an issue-I’ve still not been able to get my approval and the HOA sends out warning and threats weekly. You shouldn’t lie to prospective buyers. I also am not satisfied with the materials used -such as fence materials and glass shower doors or the cheap plastic bath tub/shower stall. Not to mention a “hybrid “ water heater that doesn’t heat at all. I now need to spend $5000 to change it out. My side yard is exposed to the public- who regularly throw trash on my yard and dog poop. The buying part was relatively easy. Although, I was never sure of who to talk to. From the mortgage agent, realtor, home buying agent, new purchase coordinator, to the walkthrough agent. The paint is pretty low quality, so if you have kids you’ll be either doing touch ups all the time or repainting with a paint that will last if washed. For the price of the house I was shocked it didn’t come with soft close cabinets and drawers. Landscape is done cheaply. The company would rather throw mulch down instead of sod or rock. Was promised several options for internet in this area by the customer support manager and PDF. Bought the home and moved in to discover I only have 1 option and it’s the worst internet provider in the area. After the initial work through areas that needed to be approved weren’t address by the time we did a 2nd walkthrough. I have coworkers that were looking to buy in the area and have drove them away from Lennar after my terrible experience.

Sales experience was not a great experience. The premium lot charge was not explained well and varied from lot to lot, and was never mentionend in early discussions of homes. The construction team is a whole other story. They were great from the walk throughs to a couple of repairs needed after moving in. Well organized and timely.

Buying a home should be an exciting time, but after a life-sucking buying experience the excitement is long gone. We were lied to by the community representative. Multiple issues with the lender. Couple that with once you're in the house issue after issue pops up. Quality control issues that were missed while by the builder and then us while being rushed through our new home orientation. The townhome is a quick build, no frills, very basic shower heads and the plastic toilets lids, single paint on walls, carpet has no pad very cheap carpet, with tack strip that was not nailed down properly and walking in the house with socks my feet get picked, sloppy trim work and texture finish
