One of the worst home buying experience I ever had. Do not recommend Lennar to anyone. Everything is terrible, starting from home buying experience to built quality. Bought two units in a span of 4 months and both the experiences are horrific and both the units built quality is subpar.

The home buying process was amazing. It went very smooth with very few problems. After we moved in we started to see many problems with craftsmanship. Walls that are not straight. Carpet tacks that we step on in bare feet. (Fixed these by tapping them down) when internet was installed the company any was told we had multiple outlets, only one was available. The plans clearly showed others. The internet people said at least we had one. Other townhouses next to mine they actually wall boarded them over. This is why I have given the company a lower score. Lack of construction communication. Very pushy to close the deal. Awful workmanship.

They had us go sign papers across town during an ice storm knowing full well that it wouldn’t record because the trades had not been able get to the house to fix the blue tape issues due to the weather. The next day we were supposed to have our final walk through. I emailed them that morning at 9:00 am asking if it was going to happen at 11:00 because the weather was still bad. No response. We drove to the house to find no one there. They informed us while we were sitting out front of the house it wasn’t going to happen so our move was delayed a week. I had to reschedule the pod delivery and movers and had to pay extra fees. When we asked Lennar to cover those fees the consulted their legal dept and in the contract it says they can reschedule with reasonable notice. Apparently same day notice is reasonable, so they didn’t cover the extra costs. The fighting with them and their lack of communication ruined the excitement of being able to move into our now home. ... More

The condition at closing was as is from the walkthrough. Blue tapes were removed without item taken care off. Issues had to be repeated numerous times prior to it being taken care off even when documented. The space to the attic and in between floor was painted shut..now either a knife or something must be use to cut out in order to assess the location. At the end, Tyler had to work on resolving most of the issues on his own in order to close. Closing was pushed by a week. I have purchased Lennar homes in the past, however this house will be my last.

When we first arrived, last 2023, we had 0 expectations on what to expect so we kept an open mind. We were blown away by the customer service that Robin provided. It was timely, professional and she went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. The house we eventual purchased, we never thought we could attain, has provided us with more than what we thought we could afford! Great lot, great community, great layout and just over-the-moon. With that being said, there are of course a few things, very minor, that we have caught with the workmanship and materials. For example, the drywall is thin and feels like you can hear conversations/creeks throughout the home. There is a spot in the master floor that has a squeak, but we understand that as the house ages and settles, that these things will come up. We plan to open up a ticket with maintenance when our 1-year warranty comes end of next year. I can't think of a better home purchase than what we had! ... More

If you ever want to build a house with Lennar make sure to bring a realtor on your first visit. The building process is very straight forward, you get what you get with Lennar no added features other than picking your finishes. Final finished product 6.8/10

The purchase and closing went very smoothly and quickly. Service requests were handled promptly and in a professional manner.

We could not open kitchen drawers because oven wasn’t installed properly.

Lennar choose to use Rannai Tankless water heaters. what they also CHOOSE to do was NOT include a way to control it with out a service call. NOBODY knew anything about the heater. NOTHING. After many hours of extreme frustration over 3 days and disbelief this is actually happening, Ryan came thru after learning what to do to get it running again. This was unnecessary frustration if Lennar has spent the $155 to install a controller to the unit, so thanks for that time wasted. Heres a tip... TRAIN your folks about the products you put in your homes. NOBODY could answer tankless question until is became a problem... all ya needed to say was... we are too cheap to include a controller, you need to buy that yourself. Also, my garage door is dented, and it bugs me.... you build is better than expected.... so ya got that going for you, which is nice... ... More

For the price paid for the home I think that there’s some issues that could be paid attention to. Like the sheet rocking in the garage very tacky at the bottom. It looks very very tacky and I would like that resolvef but I have not paid attention to it getting it done. Mostly the finish work in the garage. It’s just like I said bad. Also, I’m wondering why there isn’t framing around the windows to make it look a little bit nicer to match the doors etc.. I know it’s extra funds but I felt you took the cheap way out in doing that. One last major thing is that the wood used in the fencing is so so cheap like the cheapest you can get and then, so you know, it’s not going to last very long at all. I would rather have paid more and had a better quality fence done. However, like I said, the folks have been really really nice and attentive. I think this other stuff is a Lennar problem ... More

My spouse and I had a positive home buying experience with Lennar. All the stakeholders we dealt with were excellent. In particular, the new home consultant and loan officer navigated the entire process with us with diligence and satisfaction. In short, they honor their commitments.

Better customer service from Lennar mortgage

Make sure you do not move in a location still under construction. The noise, the dust, the heavy machinery you hear daily are a disruption to your daily life. Nobody informed us of the train we hear every night around midnight!

The team was helpful , weekly updates were appreciated. Work progressed as promised. Follow up on fixing things after closing was great. Quality of cupboards and drawers is questionable.

every things is no the answer give them deposit check for the house working on the loan told them i will go on vacation for two weeks they sold the house we deposit ;{

Response has been very good. However when the insulation contractor added more insulation to the attic their hose damaged the paint on our gutters. This morning someone came by to fix the paint and spilled the paint can on our driveway. I don’t know if they can clean it up. It is a very large area with black paint. Not happy about this.

Being in the construction field of work, I’ve heard plenty of things about Lennar and a majority of big name builders. As well as knowing other Lennar home owners. Needless to say, my expectations were not too high. I went into this whole process with caution and with plenty of questions and concerns. I was surprised at how easy it was to purchase my home even without a realtor. I had no trouble getting my questions answered promptly. Whenever any concerns came up on the few reviews I made, I was contacted by a manager that would confront the issue first hand and they quickly resolved them. First time seeing the home I was pleasantly surprised by the craftsmanship. Although there was a lot of fixes needed to be made they were small, picky things. They fixed them all with no complaints. The materials of the townhome are cheap, but at the price I paid at the time, I expected no more. Now it’s been a month or so and I’ve already contacted customer service about a couple workmanship issues that showed up. They’ve been off and on about promptly fixing issues after the purchase. After talking to another manager I’m hoping the consistency improves. Service and warranty fixes are usually the biggest complaints I seen about these new homes so I’m hoping they prove me wrong. Only time will tell if I can fully recommend others buy a new home from Lennar. So far so good, but proceed at your own risk. ... More

It's difficult to get the house u want if u have a house to sell Also there is entirely too much paperwork. The prices on ur homes changed almost daily, eventually pricing me out of the home I really wanted. Have been very attentive to issues needing repair

I thought people were unfriendly and at times dishonest. They submitted a form with a forged signature to the title company. The buying process was very rigid and not flexible. You are better off buying from a private property then dealing with lennar
