We bought a Magnolia home. We were very ready so the loan process was very smooth on our end. Every time Lennar Mortgage would asked a document from us within 30 minutes it’s done. We would visit our house while it was under construction every week until it was totally done. We had our chance to inspect the house before the closing day. And we noticed some minor fix like one of the window is not sliding, the moldings are unattached to the wall yet, painting, the grass was dead at the backyard so they fixed it. The loan was approved very quick and we had the closing day Friday afternoon instead of Monday afternoon. We had the final inspection Monday morning and we were told we will get the keys in the afternoon not later than 5:00 but to our dismay nobody called us so I asked the Lennar people the next day they contacted us it nobody knows where the keys are. We have deliveries that day our refrigerator, washing machine, and dryer and the AC will be installed the next day so they gave us access to the house they gave us the front door code. Finally we were called we can get the keys at the model home key locker but we can’t find anything even the project manager is helping us to look for the key then Thursday we finally got a call from Tim that the key is in the new model home when we went there we still can’t find the key but a worker saw us and said they key is in the dishwasher. So we got our keys to the house Thursday afternoon. We started child proofing the house and the next Monday we hired a mover to move our beds, dining set, and living room set. Through out the week we moved some of our personal belongings. Saturday night around 8:30pm we moved in at our new house. After 30 minutes, after all my kids had a quick shower, we had water sewer backflow. Downstairs was overflowing at the kitchen sink, dishwasher, toilet. The floor was damaged. We called Lennar emergency hotline 4 times and the lady said there’s 3 people who are on call that night she will relay our case and they will call us. We cleaned downstairs until 3:00-4:00am we have used all new and old towels 27 in total. But we never heard from them. It was 6:15am when JM a construction manager from Lennar and called us to help. After long hours of talking over the phone he came up with a plan. At first they tried to figure it out with my husband he even ask my husband to go check the crawl space and check the pipe and my husband said it’s like there’s something in it it’s not moving that he could feel the pressure of water. So he called several companies to check our plumbing and finally around 10:00 he was able to get a Hewitt Rota rooters and ARS restoration company to come check the damage. At 1:00-3:00 they arrived at the house and started working. They found out that it was concrete rubble is the culprit. It took Lennar to fix our house 20 days. We finally moved in June 15 we still have no toilet and kitchen sink and dishwasher. It was installed the next day and it was still dirty and we have to sanitize it. In that 20 days we have to eat out because we don’t have access to the house but we were allowed to sleep there at night and we go back to our rented house in the morning. We were not able to move all our stuff as planned up to the last minute because downstairs was inaccessible and the garage as well. There was big fans all over the place and the noice was unbearable. We incurred extra expenses but to our dismay Lennar never compensate us with all the trouble. We have six kids and school was over and all our stuff are all over the place. They wasted 20 days of our life our long wait and full of excitement and anticipation they turned it to the a nightmare worst time of our life. We were very disappointed. We never had the chance to invite our family to have a thanksgiving or a small celebration. The emotional damage we had experienced was really bad and Lennar Homes only did is to fix the house and no more. They never offered financial help to help us feel better. Can you imagine every time we eat we need to drive. Do you know what a waste of time and money is that for a family of 8????? We have to move all our stuff from the old house because the landlord no longer want us there because she needs the house immediately within 48 hours. My husband didn’t slept for 48 hours and he almost had a heart attack. So I have to beg our landlord if we can put our remaining stuff inside the garage and we will empty it the next day so that my husband can rest. And when we emptied the house we kept the uhaul for a long time because our new house is all messed up and we need time to fix things before we can add more stuff again. It’s July 5th today and our stuff is still in our room and in the garage but I made sure that downstairs, the loft area and my kids bedrooms are all clean and tidy so that they will not suffer anymore from the bad experience we had from Lennar. It’s only $250 to have the pipes checked and another $550 to have concrete rubble to remove and they would have prevented this from happening. Where is quality assurance and quality control? We haven’t had much interaction with the builder yet since we really haven’t had major issues. We are having difficulty setting up our ring system that was builder installed. We will probably have to contact a tech company for assistance.

Purchasing the house was straight forward. Fortunately my team is very experienced with financing properties across the US as Lennar’s representative was not. My team made it much easier. That said the follow up gentleman who manages the repairs and questions (et cetera) is PHENOMENAL! I reeealy want to say his name as he needs a promotion.

Prior to close discovered chip in granite! Summer was to handle this Monday morning after close- no one showed up no follow through- QR code done and requested by Haley no response. Prior to move in we noticed laundry door did not shut- mentioned to Jeff he looked at it said he’d handle- nothing no- Phil called spoke to him. No one cared to follow up! Great customer care!:( i came for a visit a month after closing, the laminate floor creeks everywhere you step on it downstairs, is it missing something underneath???- a new floor should not creek everywhere you step. Poor install???? Also I noticed front shutter warping out - this should not happen to a shutter with in 5 weeks of closing! I’d love to know if this is the quality and customer service Lennar is about? Very disappointed! Closed sale and been ghosted by customer care! ... More

Good builder, but could use an upgrade in sound proofing at shared walls in their townhomes, especially at Master bedroom.

Very good experience but would recommend you have a professional home inspector do an inspection of your home before you accept the keys

"I was extremely disappointed with the process of purchasing a Lennar Home through the agent, Gina. When I visited the model home out of curiosity and to gather information, I was not properly informed about the purchasing process. According to Lennar policy, this meant that I could not have an agent who would receive commission on the sale and I would have to pay for it out of pocket. I believe this is unethical and contributes to the loss of trust in large institutions. During the final walk-through, I felt rushed by the customer representative, Lisa, and the manager in charge of the area. I expected everything to be new when I bought a new home, but instead, I was told by the manager (whose name I cannot recall) that the amount of tape I used was "unusual", which was not the response I expected from a customer-focused company. They had tried to convince me that the cold and hot water lines in the second floor bathroom were not reversed, even though the inspector had clearly stated they were. I had to go back and test it myself to prove that the lines were indeed reversed, which only then prompted a corrective action. The experience only got worse from there - the roof leaked during the first freeze and an ice dam formed; there was a water leak at the main shut-off valve in the garage, and a tile in the master bathroom with a clear defect was played off as needing additional cleaning. As a nurse, I understand the importance of establishing trust with another person. For me, it is the patient, and for you it is your customer. It was a fabulous experience from day 1 of pre approval to closing date. Everyone in the team kept me updated. It was an amazing day to move into my brand new condo with all additional features such as Ring . I love neighborhood so peaceful. Thanks to Lennar for making my dream a reality!!! Sales Agent Debbie was GREAT! But be shrewd in purchasing! During the purchase process I asked if they would reduce purchase price due to rising interest rates. I was told that they don't do that. HOWEVER, after I purchased the house I found out they sold the same model of house on a larger corner lot for about $30k less than my price. I also saw on their website that they are selling the same model in a future build for almost $60k less then they charged me.

You do get a lot with the new home. Fence, grass, bark, trees and shrubs. Good luck with getting timely responses and fixes to warranty issues. They could greatly improve in this area.

If anything can go wrong, it will. No water, no heat on the coldest days so far. No heat in the dryer because of a faulty wiring. Now no tv because of the same thing. Now the blinds in the living room will not stay up. I am about ready to put this place up for sale.

All team of lennar are good. Helping with all issues during the process. Construction team is kind and help to fix all issues. Guides how to use all appliances in the home whenever required.

Major construction issue of water collecting in the crawl space. Unresolved after nearly three months. Customer service not responsive even to smaller issues. Walk thru are perfunctory. Explanations of home systems basic at best. They just want to slap up homes, push the sales and move on. Little care for customers who paid top dollar for a very mediocre product. Home marketing promises everything included but they excluded a refrigerator and air conditioning unit. What is provided is low grade as are the building materials.

I think the overall quality is poor, have had to have flooring repaired three times. Now we need to have the grouting re done and have only been in the house 2 months. The tree that was planted outside our house is dead. It was in poor condition when planted.

I guess the house is nice. A bit overpriced for the quality of the workmanship. Responsiveness post closing has been very lackluster.

Lennar has been awesome to work with it. We had our questions clarified in time and had a good experience with the sales agent who was ready to answer our questions leading up to closing. The construction team was also very diligent in fixing issues we found before inspection as well as the items found during inspection. Lennar's warranty service has been pretty slow and unresponsive and hope this can be improved.

Customer services after purchase is horrible. There's alot of issues with the new home. Submitted request only for Lennar to deny. Issues not resolved. -drainage issues -hvac issues -plumbing issues

Not happy with the the customer service, 600K +, and the agent did not receive us on closing day , just left a text and location of our keys, our address does not show up on any maps …etc just a headache
