I was so pleased with my experience with Lennar. I had never purchased a new build before, so I was a little wary. The buying process was really smooth and I felt like they were really willing to work with me to make it happen. The whole crew was friendly and responsive. When final walk throughs were happening, I felt like they really wanted to make sure that any/all issues were addressed so that my home was perfect. There were only a few minor touch ups (mostly cosmetic). I truly only have two things to say that aren’t positive. First of all, my HOA fee was never accurately disclosed - it ended up being about 40/month more than what was on paper. Second, I have an EV and was told the garage had an outlet for charging. There is a NEMA 14-30 R, which technically could work, but the vast majority of home charging equipment has a NEMA 14-50 plug, so I will either need to hunt down a unique box or have a NEMA 14-50 installed in order to fully charge my car overnight. A lot of cut corners

We do like our house but throughout the process we’ve realized we will likely never use Lennar again. The lender we used (through Lennar-Sam) was horrible to say the least and obviously only had Lennar in mind throughout the process. Our appraisal was much lower than we paid and that component was very unsettling with how it was taken care of. Sam was pretty manipulative when speaking about it. I have a mortgage background so I found many errors however when brought to Sam he assured me I was wrong when in the end—I was right and our numbers were completely off. The fees for closing in itself was enough for me to never refer Lennar to anyone. We’ve been having issues with an excessive water bill and Lennar seems to not want to help. The issues brought to Lennar have been fixed ONLY if Lennar is not out any money. All in all, I wouldn’t do this again. ... More

Our sales rep Sung was amazing.

Generally everything went well before we moved in. Well, there were issues along the way, but Lennar responded appropriately to them. Lennar told us the internet will be available by Fision provider the day of closing. We were happy about that. We thought if Fision does not work for us, we can change it to At&t right? No, WRONG. Now we have problem with Fision. Called HOA office. HOA office told us we can change it but still we have to pay for Fision too because Lennar has contract with them. What? That is the biggest betray from Lennar. How they can do this to people. This is America. America is America because consumers have options. Now we don't. (I do not know the term of the contract yet. But here I am asking Lennar do not do that again.) ... More

Our Lennar home is very spacious and has a wonderful floor plan. That’s what sold us on the home. Our salesperson was very welcoming and seemed to really care and helped us in our search. She told us what our Lennar home came with and even wrote it down in an email. However when the home was being built things were different. We were told that sprinklers would be installed. She actually wrote it in an email along with our appliance package and garage door opener. We didn’t get the sprinklers and we’re finally told we should’ve looked at the option package that we signed. There were so many emails sent by Lennar about the home and the process with messages that it had to be sent back immediately. I didn’t really care for everything being done online. We didn’t really feel like things were personal and we had questions that didn’t get answers. The actual finish work was quite disappointing. Things were done haphazardly and we had to insist that many items be reinstalled and fixed. There were also some design elements that made no sense whatsoever. The utility room had a space for a fridge next to the dryer. However there was no plug and we were told that Lennar stopped putting them in for that several years ago. Lights were not centered and only the master and the family room were wired separately for ceiling fans. That seemed a bit cheap. We couldn’t even put a light over our dining room table because it had two can lights at either end. We were also told that plugs could not be installed on the island due to new building codes. However homes across the street and around the corner have them. It makes me wonder about the honesty of the builders and their representatives. There were several other designs that just didn’t make sense. Our Lennar loan officer on the other hand was absolutely terrific! She was so helpful and responded quickly to my questions and issues that came up. All in all we are glad we went with Lennar but would be much more content if there were some design changes and communication had been better. Right now we’re dealing with a roof leak and some AC issues. We’ll see how their service team responds. Hopefully they’ll do the right thing! ... More

RJ, our realtor, was extremely professional, knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He was able to refer us to Eli, with Lennar Mortgage, who was a wealth of information. Eli was always available to answer any questions and it was a pleasure to work with him. Austin, our Construction Manager, was professional and great during the walk-through. Mark, our Quality Assurance Manager, was incredible on the walkthrough and supplied us with many helpful documents., including QR codes for registering the appliances. Everything was stored exactly where promised. There were 2 glitches along the way: 1.) Robert, our Homebuyer Concierge was horrible and of no use. He never returned phone calls and missed many emails. His knowledge base was lacking and he kept using the excuse that he just moved from FL (3 years ago) and didn't know the answer' 2.) Melissa, the SR. Loan Processor was horrible and needs some additional training. The phone recording system she is using via her computer is horrible and she could never seem to find anything, asked for the same documents numerous times, and almost caused us to have to change our closing date, which we had flown out to NC for, because she had not completed tasks prior to her leaving for vacation. Overall did not have a good experience. Aaron and Lennar Title were amazing, but everyone else was extremely unresponsive and unprofessional. We were given an interest rate during our initial purchase agreement that later turned out to be nothing but a dream. They made promises they couldn’t keep, and it was nothing short of a nightmare. We also had a serious grading issue that we addressed during our walkthrough, and after badgering numerous people the day before our closing date because it still had not been addressed, we did not even know if we were going to close the day of or not until late afternoon. Steve the construction manager was extremely unresponsive during this whole process. We did close on the house and are enjoying it, but would not buy a lennar home again due to such a poor and unprofessional experience. ... More

From the time we picked out our home to closing working the Lennar team went very smoothly. They are organized and our home closed on the day they said it would. We have had no hiccups and everything is in good working order. Our neighborhood is quiet and clean. Thank you Christine, Betty and Tony!

Beautiful home! Great experience! Just bought my new LENNAR home in Red Rock Village, AZ. Everyone, and I do mean EVERYONE, was so kind, friendly, upbeat, helpful, knowledgable and professional. They answered ALL of my questions, accommodated ALL of my requests, always responded quickly to any of my communication. Just can't say enough great things about my experience. Buying a home through Lennar was a smooth and satisfying experience. From the initial walkthrough to closing day, the process was well-organized and professionally handled. The home itself reflects solid craftsmanship and quality materials, and I feel I recieved good value for the price I paid. Lennar's team was responsive and helpful whenever questions came up, and they made sure any issues were addressed in a timely manner. While there's always room for improvement, I felt confident working with them and woul recoomend Lennar to any looking for a reliable homebuilder.

Great prompt & friendle thus far really easy going

Starting with the viewing of homes Ryan was so helpful then he introduced me o the rest of the Lennar team. From all the Joshs’ to the final closing, everyone I talked with was so nice and patient and helped me through the whole process.

Lennars Princeton is a very versatile plan, my first and last walks were great, 2 months have gone by with no problems. Thank you!

My biggest problem is with the shifting of closing costs to the buyer. As a real estate attorney in Illinois I am not used to everything being shifted to the buyer and so many "made up" costs like the builders' fee. Isn't the builders fee the price of the house?

I received excellent support from the initial showing through the purchase process and continue today though the excellent warranty process. No house is perfect but Lennar’s willingness to make me happy has been amazing!

Lennar charges a premium price and uses the cheapest material and labor and it shows. I am SO disappointed and have major regret for building this home. Gave responsiveness 2 stars - they do respond - but, nothing changes - your told that's how it is.

Experience with sales person was excellent. Customer care representative is very responsive and efficient. Overall the honest buying experience with Lennar as builder has been excellent.

The home is beautiful with the yard size was bigger and homes were spaced out a little farther but other than than beautiful home and great experience

We are loving our Lennar home! They have been great from beginning to end! Angie the onsite agent was AMAZING and promptly answered any and all questions we had! Our construction manager Aaron was fantastic! He kept us informed with weekly updates and promptly addressed and corrected any concerns! Kari was a true delight and did a thorough walk through with us on our new home celebration. She even noticed some sod in the backyard that wasn’t rooting and requested that it be replaced before we even noticed it!! Lennar has been transparent and quick to respond to any and every issue( and there weren’t many) They worked well with our agent and even finished our home ahead of schedule so we wouldn’t have to do a double move after the sale of our prior home. Their customer service is top notch! The home is beautiful and it was a great value for the money! They included many nice features and picked out great colors for their inventory homes.
