Would like a person to call to address an issue we had in walk thru that still has not been fixed

Pleasure experience, clear procedure to purchase home .

The day before closing many items still needed completed from the new home celebration walk through. We were told they’d all be done before closing. They were not. The house was never cleaned from the construction crews inside or out. The gate tears the sod up that they laid, bath room cabinets not finished and flooring already coming up. We were told vents were put on up on the roof, first rain fall in the new home equaled puddles in every bathroom. Seems lazy and sad, I know some issues are expected but we have many and the saddest is it was filthy to move into.

One thing you have to remember is that you're working with the seller's agent might be a good idea to bring someone who represents you. overall wasn't a bad experience but they're making some changes that we were not happy with but they made it work out with us, also read your paperwork carefully few times I've caught mistakes in their favor but again, overall I will still buy from them, their professionalism and detail to their work and customer service is pretty good.

I just can’t get past the small door into the Master bath. They say law only requires one wheelchair accessible restroom door, but so what! Do you know what it costs to change it? Raise the initial price a couple hundred bucks and do it right! That is way, way cheaper than doing it later… Just my input on a weird situation.

Home buying experience was easy to get through. Once we moved in, Rob our Liason, has been very helpful. We have had a few issues with equipment and structural things. He was very responsive and got them resolved in a timely manner

My experiences for the beginning to the end so far with Lennar has been proactive and positive.

As I am writing this review after one month after moving in this is genuine feedback from my experience not some fake, AI generated one… Its very interesting how big home builder like Lennar messes up your plans starting from delays in construction, closing time and at end rushing for everything as if tomorrow is end of world. They are not compensating for the delayed and not even adjusting closing date after all this mess. Their closing coordinator and title company reps just don’t care of what you are saying at all. Again their mortgage company is worst of all, loan officers response to your questions and the way they interact with you is very frustrating but as they see they are not going to get business with then they will rush like anything. After sales services are not a different story. Construction quality is also worst with issues with nail pops everywhere, loose stairs bullnose, uneven flooring, missing or unfinished paint on walls, not a moveable clean home after closing etc… Max was our after sales construction manager to note and get the cosmetic and major construction misses/issues to fix but that guy is at another level of non-responsiveness when we reach out to him. Overall if possible don’t plan to buy home from Lennar. If buying, don’t hope much from them and just close home with other lenders. My wife and I never expected to purchase a new build but our daughter had such a great experience with their Lennar new build a year ago she encouraged us to visit the Legado community. The rest is history from the moment we met Gail and began the process of home ownership with Lennar. Best experience from May until August we sign escrow. Our new home price and mortgage everything we could have asked. Definitely appreciate every person we met on the Lennar team as each one made our home buying experience a dream come true. Jerry H.

Very seamless process from beginning till we got the keys

I missed some things on walk thru and I called to get items to be fixed, and now I was told that is a cleaning issue and that is not per design. So be sure to take your time and mark anything you want to be fixed otherwise you will have to fix the items yourself. So I am having to fix items myself that I should have flagged. The red dirt stained several items on front entry now I will have to paint and do lots of scrubbing! The home needed cleaning before I moved in also but was not. Dust on everything including paint spatter on stove. I’ve been here a month and still cleaning and finding other stuff. But when it’s all done the home will be beautiful. I guess this is normal for moving into a new home. And the home I chose and was buying got changed at the last minute to next door. I thought it was ok but no, now I have half the yard I would have had. That’s why I gave a three star on trust. ... More

My first impression/house orientation was very bad, the house was not clean at all. After complaining, didn’t get extra chance before final orientation. The house was 90% satisfied in final orientation, still had issues which was resolved later. Paid home insurance myself, informed while signing the paperwork , get a promise for refund however they deduct $200 giving some excuses as mortgage money is shortened by $200. The address issue is the worst part, wrong address was submitted to USPS which was later on corrected however the correct address is still not updated ( complained multiple times) at many places like Peco and many banks. They are not able to find my correct address and i have to struggle to get the address corrected at each and every such institution. This is so frustrating and time consuming. They have provided a kitchen exhaust which supposed to throw the hot air and kitchen oil outside however that is not working even after complaint and my fire alarm triggered multiple times due to the alarm getting hot air from the kitchen. ... Quality construction but is large company so when you have questions or concerns there is alot of pass onto another person and hard to get answer

The home itself is okay. Clearly the construction crews do not take great pride in their work or craftsmanship, as we had a leak in the roof within 2 weeks of closing. It took almost a month to get that fixed, but alas, it is squared away. Getting responses from folks can be difficult, too. On one occasion after we closed, we had the construction crew for a different property using our external faucet for some reason (have it on our security cameras). Closing itself was a nightmare as they did not get the certificate of occupancy in time. It seems this is probably par for the course in terms of things waiting until the last minute, which is surprising, considering the number of homes they put up. All in all, we like the house; there are some minor attention-to-detail things that aren't the greatest, but the home itself is fine. Working with folks at Lennar can be a large PITA, and it moves very slowly to have things remedied. ... More

Flawless transition… we’re always professional

Not a lot of attention to detail and when I pointed out issues they weren’t dealt with very well/ at all.

I was searching for a new home that was affordable and had all that I was looking for. I found Lennar and was very impressed with quality, price and the standard upgrades in the price. I worked with the Lennar team and I can’t say enough they put me on the fast track to get into my home and sure enough I was in without any issues. My home was more than expected and no short cuts this house was built right I inspected it myself and well Lennar builders did a great job. Very happy and if you find minor issues or any issues they will come right out and fix the issue. I had a small floor scuff mark and reported it and the next day the contractor was at my home and fixed the issue. Now that’s service. Beautiful location and well planned out community plus landscaping is very professional and well kept I never usually write reviews but Lennar did such a good job with the home .service.and helping me along the way with buying process it just need to be in writing ... The entire experience from talking with sales, choosing home, working with Lennar Mortgage and Title and all the people I worked with was smooth and wonderful. Everyone was an excellent communicator and everyone answers when I called. The experience far exceeded my expectations. Lennar really has it together with their current people, departments and processes. The experience could not have been beter.

My experience with the sales person & my superintendent were excellent. They were quick to respond, professional & caring. The only 2 complaints I have are 3 of my appliances were damaged and the ceiling has so many tape lines in different rooms that will have to be redone, which will make a mess in my new house. The drywall company is terrible.

Lennar they offer great programs when it comes to financing but the whole process to get inside a new home is a complete nightmare. Communication.Is horrible I had to constantly call to see if there was any updates and leave multiple messages and have even my realtor reach out before we would hear back our closing date was pushed 3 different times to a point where we were almost homeless and no place to go I had to get the director of construction involved just to have them get our house to a point of being able to move in on the closing date they had. We had to move a bunch of things around schedule wise and then even after we closed on the house(Which there was NO new home celebration like they tell you) there was still things that had to be completed and final inspections that still had to be done which ALL of these things are supposed to be completed and good before a client closes on a brand new home. We are not ever going to buy a house through Lennar again. ... More
