Buying from Lennar has been one of the most frustrating experiences. They rushed the build of our home, clearly more focused on putting up houses for numbers than on quality. From day one, we were handed dead grass and trees — it looked neglected before we even moved in. When issues come up, they fight you every step of the way. Instead of standing behind their work, they make the process of getting anything fixed extremely difficult. To make matters worse, they only repair drywall cracks once, even though more appear as the house settles. Most recently spilled chemical in my yard and refuse to take accountability . For a company of this size, the lack of accountability and care is shocking. If you value quality, follow-through, and basic customer service, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. ... More

We are very happy to have arrived in the town of Lockhart in our new home. The area is very quiet and the community is very nice. Thank you!

Items on walk through list were only partially completed - for example sealing of door gaps. Tile floors throughout were spotted with glue and paint splatter and not cleaned. Wall paint is horrible - gently wiping removes existing paint. Master shower floor grout is a different color near drain and we were told it was soap scum after 2 showers. No it was not - scrubbing by us changed nothing. Pantry shelving was cut too long and not in the cradle hardware. This should not have taken weeks to remedy. I expected to move into the pantry sooner than that. But - worst of all - our lanai pavers are covered with overspray and paint. We would like to seal them, but will not do this over the paint mess. This was reported to Nathan who promised to take his photos of it to his manager the next week since she was out of the office that week. We heard nothing and contacted Nathan at the end of that next week to get the results from the supervisor and were told she was fired and Nathan was going on vacation for 2 weeks. So now, a month later, NOTHING has been done. This is poor customer service and shoddy workmanship. I cannot recommend Lennar for these reasons. ... More

first time lady called me about signing the papers, had very bad attitude. I would never recommend anybody to purchase from Lennar

Overall our experience was great. Very easy process in getting into our home. Had a couple of issues just in material issues. Each time I've gone to the office and before I could get back home the superintendent was waiting for me and either corrected the issue on the spot or had repairs scheduled before he left.

Sales person at the show home helped make the moving / home-buying experience easier than I thought.

The finish work was pretty bad. Lots of warranty issues for the yard, the flooring, the bathtub, cabinets, keys to my house, and no internet, just a few. Everyone has been very nice. I know they are very busy, but i don’t think there should be this many issues in a new home. I’ve done my own spackling and touch up paint, and pulled 5 large bags of weeds. My side and back yard look horrible. I have no complaints about any of the people I’ve dealt with. I’m not sure who would be to blame for all of this. I do love my home in spite of All the issues. I’m just very frustrated.

Poor built in quality/material and accessories.. Warranty team- very rude and long wait time to fix

It was very Thank You easy purchasing our new property. A few items would make the improve Lennar for buyers. Paint is relatively inexpensive but labor is expensive. Use a really good quality paint. The laundry room is a good size but my wife is 5’2 and she can’t reach the only shelve. If you had provided stackable full size set, we would have built a lot more cabinets. What is up with the baby size garage? You can’t open a door to get out of your car. Plumbers cheaped it on the connections. Why? Positives good quality appliances make me not want to replace. quality , good communication , excellent

I moved from California to Utah after living my entire life in sunny California. The busing process has been unexpectedly easy. I loved the models and the rest is history and it was fast and painless. I’m still getting settled in and I’ve notice a few small things here and there that need to be taken care of but if repairs and replacements are as easy as buying my new home, it will be easy, quick and stress free.

Have everything ready- the approval process was not easy. I had to submit the same document multiple times for no appear reason.

Overall, the move-in process was definitely a bit challenging, but worth it in the end. We are happy with our beautiful home and feel tremendously blessed. The entire teams from : loan officer (Mike), underwriting (Amanda), Closing (Alma) and then final walk through (Brittany) was an amazing experience. Thank you from my family!

Buying a house here is a very important and big step, and I only achieved this with the Lennar team. From the first visit to the last step, they helped me with everything. My realtor also said their work is very good. And I can only thank God for allowing me to have this house.

Overall, while there are a few items that require correction, I am pleased with my experience.

All-in all i think I got good value.. the quality seems decent for the price though its only been a few months I have had no issues. The only upsetting part of the transaction was that it was made clear my closing date was set in stone and could not be changed (i asked to move it up even 3 days and was ignored). On the day of closing it seemed nobody knew i was closing. I reached out to my realtor a few days prior as i'd heard nothing and she didnt respond. I sent a frustrated email the day before closing because I hadn't heard a thing and finally got a response that was quick and impersonal - check your welcome email basically. The day of closing I asked Lennar who was doing my walkthrough and it seemed they forgot again I was supposed to walk through the home to confirm all the repairs had been made before I signed papers. Someone rushed over 1 hour before i signed and did a very quick rushed tour of the house. I noticed other neighbors had signs hanging on their garage with their names saying welcome to the neighborhood. I got nothing. In fact a few days later my sales person drove by and parked just outside my driveway and wouldnt even look at me when I attempted to wave or say hi. Very rude honestly.. I didnt feel very good about the whole process after I had been forgotten the day of closing and it was Lennar that insisted I close on that day without any alterations. I think if I didnt start sending a ton of emails and calls the day before I never would have closed. The worst part is! i found out the day before closing my street didnt have internet and there was no timeframe for when we would. It took over a month after closing to get internet. Who in this day and age can survive with no internet in their home? And to not even mention this untli day before closing!! ... More

Stan and NaShae were wonderful and extremely helpful, knowledgeable and responsive. This is my first home purchase, they led the way. After move in, Sean and the construction team are kind and just as responsive. They are helpful with any warranty requests and even general questions. The team at Cottonbrook has made this process far less stressful and very pleasant.

There was a bees nest which was removed and the missing paint in the corner was supposed to be painted over. Job never done.

Chris was the first impression and so sold the development and townhome Z. Awesome job

Irina, Lennar sales person was amazing, and the whole process was pretty good.

The only thing that comes to mind is the sod was supposed to be installed right after closing and was installed during the time we were supposed to close and we did not end up closing till three weeks later so our sod is dead.

Several pending issue dragged on to fix. A few of the issues were made seem like it was supposed to be like that. Example carpet loose next to point where carpet ends and tiles lead to bathroom. Potential issue for someone falling by tripping on loose carpet. Laundry room doors made too small for standard appliances can’t close door
