All was very good except : The closing process was very disorganized they didn’t show up and many items were not completed. However after finally closing everything was rectified in a timely manner!!!

I like everything about it nice back yard and a nice big living room

Lee has been outstanding. I noticed a small window leak and related drywall damage soon after moving in. After submitting a warranty ticket, I got a call within 24 hrs, and repair scheduled within a few days. He was also quick to check in and follow up after the repair to ensure everything was done. I’m grateful for the Lennar Customer Care team!

The buying experience was easy enough but not very personable I was handed a folder with the Deed and keys and that was it. Gavin has been very helpful in getting the minor problems fixed. The only problem that has not been fixed is the address problem which I hope will be fixed soon.

We love our home. Lennar has been great. The office has been very responsive to our needs and wishes. We have a one issue to a fix, Rob did not show up but we told he will be here today. The office has been great with everything when we have contacted them. So far Great Company.

The builder rushed everything and uses trades that have no honor or pride in their work. The laziest finishes I’ve ever seen. We had them re caulk three times and are still finding areas where they would only caulk trim on one side of the door.

Ted was great very responsive. Noah was also great and so helpful. JJ chef at tiki bar is a gem.

You definitely get what you pay for. After having several professionals come out to look at certain things, I get the same outcome. Lennar uses the cheapest materials and will do whatever to save money on their end. A bit disappointed after only living here for less than three months. There’s paint on the floors throughout the house and even on the carpet in the bedrooms. The glue that was used for the flooring is smeared throughout the hallways and it looks terrible. Still trying to find something to remove that without ruining the floors. I have found a couple of blue tape spots that were not addressed. An example, there are staples that are not completely pushed in around the door but were painted over. Looks terrible. After this experience, all I have to say is that if you’re looking for a cheap home, Lennar is the place to go with! I can only imagine the issues I’ll have later on. ... More

The process of selling me the house was ok could have been better the loan officer was efficient enough but indecently rude and abrasive at times. The home itself has multiple issues with workmanship quality both structural and cosmetic. Very poor quality and we find for what we paid Lennar is very cheap and making an exuberant profit while overcharging for bare basic minimum and cheap product in the home. I would not recommend

I’ve been watching the market for years. My family left me with pets, so I couldn’t choose an apartment. I had to move in the next two months. I looked at preowned homes, but didn’t find anything that didn’t need a tremendous amount of fixing. So buying a new house seemed like a great idea. The rep at the Neighborhood was great. He listened to what I liked and he knew the products very well. He was patient and even allowed me to visit a second time. he chose the right house for me. Going through the loan process was a mess. I was told only to speak to two people. End up getting contacted by multiple people. So I had the fear that I might’ve been scammed at one point. The loan officers didn’t communicate with the builders that I was approved and was ready to close. The builder didn’t have the house ready for me to move in. I was able to pick up my key,after waiting for someone to come to the office. I was there at the right time. But nobody was in the office.So none of the blue tape issues were ever resolved. I spent another two weeks leaving the house open, so that the builder could still have people come in to fix it. but with every visit they would do other damages. Whoever installed the carpet, tossed all the trash up on the closet shelves. None of us saw that trash up there until after I moved in. Some of the issues I pointed out on my blue tape walk, still haven’t been fixed. I even submitted it on the builders web request. I haven’t heard anything in response to it. I even spoke to the builder and he said he would come back and fix them. I haven’t seen him. The issues have not been fixed and he never responded back to my text message. It’s been over two weeks. So instead of enjoying the fact that I bought my first house, I was stressed with possibility of fraud, and how am I going to get these other issues in the house fixed. I pretty much believe the builder and the HOA rep have just forgotten me. And rather than being a squeaky wheel, I’m just trying to work with it or fix it myself. I like all the energy upgrades that were done. But it’s very obvious that the house was built in a hurry. There are a few errors in the workmanship that should’ve been caught by the builder and fixed before anyone even stepped in the house. Trees were planted, I was told I would pick a type of tree. That didn’t happen. I was surprised they were renewed. But the guys had trouble closing my gate with the sod in place, and they messed up my gate. I couldn’t open it. The support post was overlapping the gate after they left. The sod process was ok. But the weeds are still growing through the dead sod. Summer heat makes it hard to maintain the sod. I informed the builder on day one I want xeriscape. The sod could of been laid differently. Also would of had a chance of living. I do not encourage anyone to work with Lennar. It was very obvious that most of the process is disorganized and some of the people do not have pride in their work or were not trained to know what they need to know, to succeed. ... More

Please don’t give them your hard earned money. I closed 2 months ago, and my home is still unsafe to live in. I cry all time because of what they have done and continue to inflict upon me.

Lennar has been my worst experience ever! False info on home loan, worst communication. No one was here to congratulate me when I received my keys! Loan officer lied to me about numbers! I had to wire money twice

I contacted a Lennar representative about the holes in my backyard caused by the landscaping company. Customer care stated that someone would be out to correct the problem three weeks ago as of today 9-16-25 nothing has been done.

In short, the home buying experience was not pleasant, and in many ways, did not satisfy our needs. The process was made even more frustrating by the continued demonstration that Lennar and its process were more important than any of the customer’s interests or needs. Here is a direct quote from the “Delivery Process” letter sent to us – “Appointments are critical, and timing is of the essence. Walk-through appointments cannot be changed; however, we do offer a choice of virtual or in person appointments based on your availability” I can understand the need to maintain scheduled appointments; but we had no input concerning timing, the sales staff knew we were traveling from the East Coast during that time, and when we were forced to do the walk-through virtually the person doing the walk through didn’t know that is how we were doing it and was not prepared. Additionally, when we contacted the office that sent the letter, they contended that they had nothing to do with the walk-through. Although the individuals were pleasant enough, they were completely restrained by the Lennar system. There are so many ‘features’ in the house that are not logical for the home user but were things that could not be changed. Lennar promotes the houses as having features that are befitting a 55 and over community, but these features (gimmicks) are insignificant when compared to the inconvenience that they cause. And, they were non-negotiable. Just to list a few: -- No door on the bathroom (The one place you are guaranteed to stand naked. And, what if one person is up earlier or later than the other?) -- Many doors that are 36 inches for no practical reason (The large doors get in the way!) -- Zero threshold shower (You can’t put a bath mat down so you have to step from the shower onto the slippery tile floor.) -- Hand-held shower wand in the master shower -- Grass in the back yard (The one place that the HOA does not provide maintenance.) Finally, I know that these houses are not custom homes, but the house construction quality and finish is pretty poor. Simple things like stud placement – they are not consistent! Planning for kitchen cabinets – there should have been blocking for the cabinet installation. Several cabinets do not have the proper number of screws holding them in place. A single towel hook in each bathroom?? So, to answer the original question; I would not rate my experience as being positive. I’m not sure I could recommend Lennar to anyone. What makes this sad is that the house we moved from in Maryland was built by Lennar and we were very satisfied with the quality and the buying experience.. ... More

After 25 homes, we settled into what may be our last retirement home. We have been pleasantly surprised at how responsive our construction manager, Bill was. We are pleased with the quality of the home and the value was tops compared to the 6 other 55+ communities in the Summerville, SC area we considered.

If you've ever wondered what it would be like to pay premium prices for the thrilling experience of being treated like an inconvenience, look no further than Lennar Homes! Lennar Mortgage: Apparently "transparent pricing" is code for "surprise rate changes at the 11th hour." Nothing says "trusted partnership" quite like last-minute rate hikes when they assume you're too invested to walk away. Spoiler alert: we did walk away and found a lender who apparently attended the radical school of "honoring their word." Construction Management: Customer service training must have been replaced with a masterclass in condescension. Email responsiveness? Think geological timescales. And heaven forbid you follow up - how dare customers expect communication! Warranty Services: My personal favorite - the "it's not broken enough yet" approach to obvious installation errors. Backward vent? "Come back when there's water damage!" What a nice treat to save for when your warranty expires in a year. The cherry on top: A month post-closing and the vacant home still offers that distinctive eau de budget paint store. Really ties the whole experience together. Would I recommend Lennar? Absolutely - to anyone compiling a "what not to do" guide for the housing industry. ... More

The second realtor for Lennar homes was amazing. My score would be higher if I had started with her. First impressions are everything. The first Lennar Realtor kept playing games with us and not being honest. I finally went to the head person over this area and was assigned to a realtor who would answer my questions. We love our home and very happy with it.

Jenna has been very helpful and responsive. Cyrus and Matt were also very helpful.

They lied about HOA price. When I try to get answers they all hide like cockroaches. Try to play the dumbest game with me. I still waiting for an answer.

I recently closed a townhome at sicklerville, NJ and I couldn't be happier! The location is fantastic, with easy access to parks, shopping, Atlantic city, Philly Downtown. The open layout is perfect for entertaining, featuring a modern kitchen and spacious bedrooms. The quality of construction is top-notch, and the community is well-maintained. Special thanks to sales persons at Pennington, NJ and sicklerville, NJ for their outstanding support throughout the buying process. This is my 2nd town home in Lennar. Lauren & Gina were the best people throughout the purchase. Still waiting on things they were going to complete that were pending from the second walkthrough tape was never removed. Waited 4 days for the money back after I was told that in 24 hours I was going to receive it. I purchased 2 houses in less than 2 years . Any way after all that…I love my house.

First time homebuyer and the process was horrendous, especially buying pre construction. Don’t assume that just because every single house within a giant property being constructed (think Altamira in Homestead Florida) is a beautiful shade of cream with brown and tan details, that your own pre construction place will match. The reason we decided to buy in that community was because of the elegant color scheme. Once the place was done being built and we flew back from out of state for the walkthrough, imagine our surprise when the stupid place is chicken yellow with gray stonework. Two colors that couldn’t clash any more than they do, among a sea of beautiful ivory and browns. It cheapened the entire neighborhood. I understand that there might be a “palette” they can play with regarding colors, but no other building in the entire place was painted chicken yellow except ours (townhome). Finishes were typical cheap cookie cutter nonsense with the ugliest colors imaginable (think depression blue and Soviet era gray). The carpet had tons of paint splatters on it. Never again buying from these fools!! ... More

The biggest issues are that the shared walls aren't nearly as dampening as I was told, and that the paint job was very light/rushed. I assume it was all just sprayed on, but they should have put a thicker coat on because the slightest bump takes the paint off. The ACT D'MAND remote also doesn't work far enough to make a difference. Aside from that and a few cosmetic things they left (e.g. paint on locks), it's a comfortable place. Except for the dishwasher--which cleans well but whose interface is very cheap--the appliances are great. Even with the windows closed and a 90º day, it doesn't feel very warm except on the upper floor. ... More
