Overall experience was not what I expected. Staff is not friendly and staff does not call back to answers questions.

Quick responses to our repair issues was very much appreciated.

We could not be happier with our little cottage on the bluff overlooking the foothills of the Sierras. Our buying experience was incredible and the people at Lennar have been super responsive and accommodating. Our Loan Officer Rachel was extremely patient, knowledgeable and kind. We had a couple stressful moments & her calm encouraging demeanor was exactly what we needed during those times. Our walk-through experience with Lincoln in the Construction Department was amazing too. We could tell right away that a high standard is important to him, so we knew he was taking our concerns seriously. He was responsive and efficient. Unfortunately, the only complaint we have is that during our Sales experience, we were told that there would be no future construction on the hills behind us. We bought the house for the phenomenal view and have since learned that there are indeed, plans for future development there. I will not name the name here because we recognize we should have done our due diligence and confirmed this before we bought the house. In the end, we are still in love with our new community. Good but not very good

My wife and I purchased our home in May 2025 and it was everything we expected! Of course being that our home was brand new we had small issues. Lennar came in and took care of them IMMEDIATELY without question! Lennar has made us feel as if our happiness is their top priority! (And no I wasn’t paid to say this lol)

From beginning to end you feel the professionalism of the staff showing you everything as it is. Always willing to help and carry the purchase in the best possible way always fulfilling their word.

Everything went well before closing. Services and updates were excellent! I expect the interior window frame inside the garage should be finished with caulking with the designer package for a premium lot. I was disappointed for that. Overall, I am happy with my townhouse that Lennar built.

Overall, it was a great experience from the beginning to the final process.

Love my new house. Very happy here.

They guided me through each step, ensuring I understood what to expect at every stage. The paperwork was straightforward, and I appreciated the transparency regarding costs. There were minor hiccups along the way, like a slight problem with getting a later appointment for the walkthroughs date and a few unexpected repairs that popped up during the inspection. However, these issues were handled professionally, and I felt supported throughout the resolution process. Warranty not addressing flooding issue . Next step Charlotte county permitting my home for occupancy when flood damage possible due to grading. Still not addressed. Lanai set low unable to drain.

Everyone involved from the sale to the closing were very helpful and polite. The move was flawless. I will highly recommend everyone to purchase a Lennar home! They build a great product!!

Everything from start to finish was terrible including the real estate agent. I put my unit up for sale the day after I closed and cant wait to get rid of it.

We had a very long drawn out purchasing experience through the loan application, both the FHA and Lennar’s conventional loan people. They were very impatient when they wanted information but otherwise slow in keeping us informed as to what was happening. They asked for information that was none of their business and eventually told me that if I did not give them the information that the loan would not be approved. This process took weeks. I went to a bank and got an approval with 4 days. After move in, I (a former builder) found that there were house framing studs missing in places where it was apparently inconvenient. ... More

Firstly, let me say dealing with the team at the community of Willow was a pleasant smooth and easy process. Starting with Nicole, who made the purchase quite easy and relaxed. Dealing with David and his team to obtain my mortgage was great. Finally working with Kim in the title office was stress-free. Overall, it has been a wonderful experience, and I have recommended Lennar to colleagues and family. Even so my sister is buying a place at one of Lennar‘s other communities.

All the homes look the same after you have seen a few. Take your time to really go through the homes at your pace and don't feel the pressure of needing to make a decision before the end of the quarter when prices are sometimes reduced. Go for location over what the home has featured as built. You will update things on the inside over time, but you can not change the location.

The buying experience wasn't bad with Lennar. Communications was good. But I have to say the quality of work done on these homes is not good. Cheap materials and shoddy craftsmanship. They are thrown up as quickly as possible. For the first time home buyer, you can't beat the mortgage deals they are offering but if you can afford better, go elsewhere.

We are happy to live in a house built with professionalism.

Although the buying experience was smooth and easy, upon delivery the 1st day my AC broke making the move in 90’ weather difficult and it took a week to get repaired. Since moving in I’ve had contractor after contractor in my home doing repairs that quite frankly should have been addressed prior to turn over. Broken roof trusses, roof repairs needed, drainage issues poor carpet installation to name a few. My back yard has been a swampy since move in 8 weeks ago because of an issue with the sump pump installation. Overall I like my home but am disappointed with all of the complications, they definitely need better quality control, as the contractors do subpar work, and the builder clearly just wants to get the house delivered so they get there money. I paid fair market value for a home that has had me stuck waiting for repairs every week since I moved in, and I still have many more to go. If you buy a Lennar home make sure you do your own home inspection, they clearly don’t monitor construction well. Forget it. Any suggestion, no matter how reasonable, is met with a flat "no." Why? Because customization doesn’t serve their bottom line. It’s cheaper and faster for them to mass-produce homes and leave the burden of upgrades, repairs, or adjustments entirely on the homeowner. Their one-size-fits-all approach isn’t about quality or service—it’s about efficiency, speed, and profit. Lennar’s true customer isn’t you—it’s the boardroom. The executives, the shareholders, the quarterly earnings reports—that is who they answer to. Once they’ve squeezed every last dollar from a development, they pack up and move on to the next unsuspecting community. Let’s talk about their HOA. Calling it a "dictatorship" would almost be generous. Everything is on their timeline, not yours. Want to install a simple fence to keep your children or pets safe? You could be waiting months for “approval.” Instead of streamlining the process by coordinating fencing options pre-move-in (as any thoughtful developer might), Lennar stalls and delays, wielding unnecessary control over what you can and can’t do with your own property. The entire experience reeks of corporate indifference and bureaucratic arrogance. You are not treated as a valued homeowner—you are a transaction, a line item, and a means to an end. So before signing on the dotted line, remember what you’re walking into: a sprawling, profit-driven machine that views neighborhoods as revenue streams and buyers as disposable. Choose wisely. ...
