Love the home for the price

Not transparent with loan costs and unfair treatment. No response to the feedback

This was a simple process from start to finish!

The buying process went fast and the Lennar craftsmanship is well known for its quality for example Moen brand bathroom faucets, porcelain tiles and quality cabinets, Lennar homes offer more in their built homes versus the competition when comes to price and good quality products. I would like to mention Spencer for his outstanding customer service and Chris from Lennar mortgage for his expertise and Linda also Michelle from Lennar title for their hard work.

It's hard to read all of these reviews be excited about Lennar, but I thought to provide my honest feedback. First off, no home is perfect, even if new. If you expect that, then the home sale price should have two commas in it, not one. That said, I have had the same cosmetic issues, minor delays, and general warranty concerns others have outlined. I have had nothing but a positive experience with the group that built our home and would like to publicly thank Teresa and John for his quick responses and service.

The overall experience with Lennar was good, especially from the beginning with sales. The sales team was great, straightforward and professional. The Lennar mortgage team was also great to work with but I will say they treated someone else I know who purchased a first home in the beginner series with less concern and value thank they did us with a higher priced home. They should be no less important. As far as the home itself goes, I believe it might be lacking in quality materials and workmanship. Corners seem to have been cut to save money. We have only been in our house a month and a half and already have had two significant warranty issues - one due to poor workmanship and it took 4 visits and 3 weeks to correct. Communication on that was terrible as Lennar couldn’t seem to figure out which sub should address and correct the problem. The second issue seems to be a manufacturer defect and possibly low quality materials but it poses a safety hazard to my family and needs to be corrected ASAP. So far, I am still waiting. I am also coming from a house that was very solidly built with a high degree of workmanship and high quality materials so it’s hard not to compare. I do love the floor plan we chose with Lennar. It could not be more perfect . I do hope my home will prove itself to be of good quality over the years and I hope Lennar proves themselves to be a quality builder in the long run. ... More

The home buying experience needs to change. It's very stressful and you are not guaranteed that you will get the house based on your offer as you only get one chance. It's a single offer with no chance to counter offer. Lennar needs to allow counter offers. The home itself, for over $1M, is average. Material selections are average at best. Vinyl flooring and not hardwood. The same small MDF trim used for baseboards and window trims. Bath fixtures are Moen which are nearly bottom grade quality fixtures. Windows are only trimmed out downstairs with sheetrock wrap upstairs (1960's). Millwork quality average with mitered corners uneven. Mid-grade cabinets with fixed shelves that don't roll out for pots and pans, HVAC that is in the ceiling downstairs and floor upstairs to save costs (heat rises so ceiling vents are useless in hot weather for cooling) along with the use of an HVAC system that doesn't have smart home integration. The paint that was left for touchup doesn't match what was used for the house and paint peels off the walls likely due to painting over dusty walls. Floors squeak. Guest shower is a fiberglass shower/tub unit with no door and requires a shower curtain. Overall, corners are cut everywhere that can be and still pass code. ... More

Let me start but saying I love my house and location! The sales agent was great and very friendly! The mortgage side is 10 out of 10! Very easy, responsive and very nice. The construction team is horrible. Late to every meeting if they showed up at all. Didn’t fix all the items on my pre closing walk. It was cosmetic but still wasn’t fixed. The house closed without grass. It’s been 45 days since closing and still do not have grass. Mind you it has rained some but they do not respond to canceled start dates or follow up. I text them with no response. I love my house and don’t regret a thing but constriction team has to go! I don’t mean the actual builder guys because they seem to be good! I mean the supervisors. ... First I was told bu 2 people home would be cleaned when I got here, it was not cleaned and we had to get here at 6 AM to clean before movers came at 8. Then the hot water shutoff broke off, looked like had been broke and glued back together was told plumber called twice no one ever showed up for several weeks, HVAC was out for a week motor broke in attic. HVAC people put a window unit in, can't imagine my electric bill is going to be. Threhold for front door had shims, wood cracked was pointed out during inspection never fixed when asked was told it was done and it was not. I closed from another state 5/22, told everyone I couldn't be here until 6/7. Got here all the lights on and AC set at 72. Again going to be on my electric bill. The only person that really helped me was the local sales guy Darrell, He told me how to use the app to report things, went out of his way to find out things for me and I think he is fairly new. After using the app to report issues things started getting done after several weeks, almost a month of trying.I would hope Lennar if anything during my bad experience would contribute to electric bill since AC went out, windown unit running non stop tripping circuits and leaving lights and AC running for 17 days prior to me getting here. My overall experience is not good, was hounded to take mortgage, sell me home owners insurance relentlessly was even sent 74 page mortgage papers to my home. It went to the burn pile. Sent email to stop harrassing me, was told it was system generated isssue. Funny how you get hounded to take mortgage, insurance and when you need something nothing happens for weeks. Very disappointed in my whole experience, work all your life to retire and own a new home then have to deal wih all these issues. Darrell local sales guy ought to be commended at least he tried to help everytime we asked him for anything. If could do it all again would not purchase from Lennar. ... More

Everyone at Lennar was very attentive to our questions and concerns throughout the construction and purchasing of our new home.

Stephanie and Jim are thorough and made this process so smooth and rewarding!! I went with the best lender!! Thank you for everything!! I love my home!!

House was built on time and was of much better quality than my previous Lennar home in Lakewood Ranch. All of the warranty work has been handled very professionally by Josh. .

Was told they were going to come and do a final cleaning and never happened when sod was laid they put a gash in the siding of the house, lots of glue left on floor as well as paint drops throughout the home both front and back doors not sealed with weather stripping fully there for you can see daylight at bottom of doors.

Melissa, Meredith, Annette, Bianca, Luke. The entire team was phenomenal. They made everything so easy for me. I did not have any problems whatsoever. I am a first time buyer and I pray that everyone could have the same service that these people provided.

(2/5) Stars Great Price, But Regret Rushing — Disappointed with Warranty Support I bought my Lennar home thinking I got a great deal, and at first, I was really happy. The sales team and loan officers were excellent—professional, helpful, and made the buying process smooth. But once I moved in, the issues started. I officially got my keys on May 21, and by July 1, I already had a plumbing problem. I was told the repair would happen on July 7, and here we are—nothing has happened. The warranty department has been disappointing, I’d rate them a 2 out of 5 at best. The plumbing company Lennar works with hasn’t followed through, and it’s frustrating as a new homeowner to feel ignored. It’s a shame because I was even considering buying another Lennar home for my son—but after this experience, I’ll be looking elsewhere. Lennar needs to take homeowners seriously after the sale too—not just during. ... More

Lennar was very hands on in helping us get into our place

The financing and home buying experience was simple and easy. There have been several issues since we’ve moved in including our roof leaking the weekend we moved in. The issues are being handled but we are very concerned about what else will come up. It’s also a little frustrating that Lennar wouldn’t work with us on the initial house that we wanted and turned about less than a month later and sold it for $46k less than what we offered.

My experience purchasing a Lennar home was, just okay. Not great, but not terrible. I would recommend buying a Lennar home, as they're built well and often are marked down quite a bit (they initially start higher than most for this reason though). The fact that they negotiated pricing and incrntives was great! I would just suggest being on top of things yourself, as your new home buyer info regarding your property maintenance etc. is not provided to you in a handy binder (like I've experienced with other builders) but is all located on your online portal. Lastly, they should be calling new home owners 15 days into closing escrow to follow up regarding any concerns on the property (they say they'll do this) be aware that you may need to reach out to them (as I did, never recieved a follow up as they mentioned). The people handling the loan took forever to respond, would not read emails I sent them before asking me for information, information which I clearly stated in the email I sent. Quality control seemed to miss an extremely crooked window, an EV charger that was installed upside down and with a connection that doesn’t work. No Lennar is stating they won’t pay for the adapter or fix the issue. I do not like I could not change the countertop or cabinets, I can’t believe a master bathroom is sold as a tub/shower combo without the option to change it. We moved in 3 weeks ago and the air doesn't circulate on the second floor. The HVAC company spent hours here with no resolution. Our neighbors are experiencing the same issue. This has soured our entire experience.

We were very pleased at being able to purchase remotely with a good electronic process

The entire process was transparent, easy and a great group of individuals

The sales rep has inaccurate information and the closing process was a hassle. They claimed the home would be locked but let someone come in and track the carpets and damage the floor. Also, didn’t get the keys during closing.
