Our welcome to the community began with not being able to find our keys the day we arrived here from Michigan. It went south from there. Very slow response to any contacts we made. We asked about some electrical work being done and were told we had to get it taken care of ourselves. So we asked (at least three times) if someone could refer us to a local electrician. That was in July—still no referrals. In short, we felt and still feel very ‘unwelcome’ and would not suggest friends and family follow in our footsteps.

Probably from the beginning working with the sales rep that did the application process with me. After we finish the transaction, the next day switched properties and I could never get a hold of him again it was a terrible experience on his part. The home had a lot of issues and I had to get an inspection twice because they weren’t all completed on the first go round so it cost me double to get it inspected. The day before my closing, the construction manager took care of the roof and the paint on the house and some other issues we walked through before I moved in. TY, the construction manager, did a great job that day making me feel more comfortable about buying the home. It was very stressful during the purchase period as the deposit didn’t clear and again the sales rep was nonresponsive, and he was the only one who can get me back to the deposit website. I think the total overall issue I had was with the sales rep being non-responsive. And then to think that you have to go back-and-forth and back-and-non-responsive and complain until somebody listens It’s unbelievable. I wasn’t fond of the customer care team member, Hanah I felt she was short and didn’t wanna be bothered I never felt like she listened. I felt she put me off. Kevin, the cust care team member that handled the walkthrough was great to work with as well. The closing team was great and Jeremiah on the loan side was terrific too. Overall I'm grateful and pleased that Lennar worked with me to buy our family home. However the mortgage qualification process did not go well. Way too many people involved who did not talk to each other. This buyer had a huge down payment, no debts and a high credit score, After two months with still no resolution, the Buyers agent had to request that the mortgage and title managers to step in. After they stepped in, it took two days for the mortgage to be approved. Thankful for their help.

the house was Filthy, want a joke to not clean out the vents for cabinets. I would not recommend Lennar homes to anyone. Sorry but the truth.

Professional, friendly, responsive, timely, communicators

Excellent experience buying and love the home we purchased. I highly recommend.

Although small, too many imperfections all over the house that you wouldn’t normally expect to see from a brand new house

We had an overall very positive purchasing experience with our new townhome at Phoenixville Heights. Sean was a very customer focused sales professional who helped us find the townhome that we wanted. Bill was an excellent mortgage professional with Lennar Mortgage and helped us work out the financial details. The walk-through inspections were thorough and well done by Mike and Mike. The closing experience with Lennar Title was very positive as well. Opportunities for improvement include the concierge follow-up during our services which was not timely and lacking in meeting our needs. We are also not very impressed with the HOA for the community as they are difficult to communicate with and slow in providing needed information. But overall, it was a good experience and the areas where we needed the best level of services (sales, mortgage, inspections, title, closing) were handled in a very professional and customer focused manner. Contractors work quickly and not very well. Lennar should build their own homes. There were so many work orders. This was frustrating. I didn't expect to become a construction manager after buying a home. We should get a discount. It's unfair to put that on the home buyer with all the stress of moving.

Great offers and personnel support

The Johnstown area has a lot of builders, but for the price and quality, Lennar is on the top of the list.

Lennar is good there were a few things I was promised that didn’t happen which is frustrating

Safety Issue: There are NO railings on the walkways. This is a major falling hazard, especially for kids and elderly residents. It's an accident waiting to happen. Parking Nightmare: They gave 50 homes only 10 guest parking spots. That's one spot for every five families. It's impossible to have friends or family over. This isn't the safe or convenient community we were promised.

buying and closing were stress free. Got to walk house before closing and get problems corrected. one item not able to correct was that the hose bibs are in wrong locations. the front hose bib is on the opposite side of the house from the garage.

Overall It was good experience

Excellent experience from start to finish. The build quality exceeded my expectations, and the team was friendly, responsive, and professional throughout the entire process. Another HUGE attribute is Lennar New Home Consultant Matt, who is an absolute pleasure to work with — responsive, trustworthy, and genuinely friendly from start to finish. Made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend!

I have some complaints for the poor job and I don’t see any auction yet

Overall, construction is very cheap, down to the electrical sockets which I have never seen the likes. The appliances are another issue. They will not last long. I have never seen this quality in a new build. Very disappointing. You could have done some better.

Great home, great builder, great sales team, easy closing experience, a total one stop shop that Lennar has mastered. Turnover was easy, even virtually as we were out of state. Any follow up after buying, the sales and construction team were very communicative and responsive.

I was looking to buying a home near a friend who was also buying in the same street. I was told it was already off the market and to select one a few houses down. Once the initial payment has gone through I wouldn’t get much response from anyone other than some pictures of the development. At the home walk near completion I was asked why I never visited the home during construction and that I had a lot of trust by never visiting. I mentioned I was never told I was able to and I wanted to change the type of flooring from the very get go before sheetrock was installed to all plank with no carpet. It wouldn’t be an option. Then to find out the house I initially wanted was available from the get go and is still listed for sale as I type this. It was rude and I couldn’t believe I was never reached out to by changing even before any payment was done. As a former general contractor, I feel that these houses are probably better built than any other builder out here . They do need to pay a little more attention to final details like grout and caulking I will also add that the electrical switches. Need to be changed. They’re very difficult to operate. Otherwise I’m very satisfied with the unit. One other thing is they could’ve used a 3 1/2 ton AC unit instead of a 3 ton this is right on the borderline and gives you no room for growth.

Best experience ever in homebuying

Buying with Lennar was a nightmare. From start to finish the process was a circus. By the end of this adventure I was ready to pull the plug and start back over with a new builder. 100% would not recommend Lennar.
