There was understanding of our needs for a home by the builder representative but response was delayed at some point.

My direct experience with Lennar employees directly. I give Tiara ***** the highest rating. She is very responsive, always pleasant.

No Frills starter home which is good value for money spent, especially if you're handy and able to upgrade trim and other quality items not included in higher priced homes.

Overall, our experience was positive, but there were a few areas where communication and the closing process could have been handled better. One of our biggest challenges was reaching the on-site salesperson. There were numerous occasions when it was difficult to get in touch with her, which made the process more frustrating than it needed to be. Additionally, on the day of closing, we did not receive our keys until several hours after we were supposed to. The city had already recorded the transaction approximately six hours before we were given access to the home. In fact, we were able to visit the post office and obtain our mailbox keys well before we received the house keys. We later learned that our sales representative was on vacation and had not made arrangements to ensure the key handoff was handled in her absence. Another significant concern was the information we were given regarding our backyard. We were repeatedly told that because it was our property, we would not need approval for any landscaping or improvements. After moving in, we discovered that this was incorrect. Even planting shrubs or making basic landscaping changes requires prior approval from the *****. This information was misleading and should have been clearly communicated during the sales process so buyers can make informed decisions and avoid unexpected restrictions. ... More

Average quality at best in build. Not many custom considerations. But very quiet and peaceful area. Lots of wildlife around, including many deer and geese. Almost no traffic, which is good considering there are no sidewalks planned. People are friendly with plenty of walkers and mixture of generations.

When we bought our house, we had to pay out of pocket for an inspection (this is normal), but the imprecation came back with so much damage to the roof that we almost walked. Lennar said they "had all items fixed" post inspection, so I paid out of pocket for another inspection, and the same if not more damage to the roof was noticed. Went back and forth with Lennar and again almost walked and was close to filing a suit to get my earnest money back. They came back a third time and said they fixed the roof, and we had to pay out of pocket again to have the roof inspected, and it finally past. With three separate inspections, the house was finally up to code, but we ended up paying $1600 out of pocket for three inspections that we have nothing to show for except knowing our roof is now what it should have been in the first place. I'm still trying to get someone to fix an erosion problem on the east side of my house and it's been about 7 weeks and no resolution. ... More

I wasn't very satisfied with the purchase and the quality of the house

We love our home in Honey creek, however the home buying process as a first time home buyer was extremely disappointing. Emails and calls from us went unanswered, especially by the loan officer. We felt extremely dismissed with questions we had.

When we initially looked at the neighborhood, we were given the incorrect square footage. Our Lennar representative was provided inaccurate information throughout our home buying process. The construction manager ***** was exceptional. She went above and beyond to ensure that our needs were met.

The day we closed and were handed our keyes, they didn't re-key the locks so we had to wait 3 days to use our front door. Had to use garage in order to lock the house, we called the emergency number we were referred to and were told we weren't an emergency, use your garage door opener. Still have paint issues on exterior that were not addressed, porch roof had damaged roofing and instead of replacing it they put white elastomeric roof coating over the damage. It looks like a bird crapped on my brown roof. In the yard we keep finding buried screws, construction staples, garbage. My kids could easily get cut and have to get a tetanus shot because of the debris. Was only told after we closed that we weren't getting a shower door for our master shower- the model home has the shower doors. Have resorted to buying the paint for the exterior myself and the shower doors which was an added expense we shouldn't have had. The roof on the porch is still unremedied 3 months after closing. ... We have been very disappointed with the follow through on the claims. The supplier broke our slider and then attempted to wash their hands of doing the repair correctly. Not what we expected from Lennar.

Whoever the builder is rushed the job. There are issues that have been corrected (the dishwasher not being installed properly) and issues that still need to be resolved (the concrete poured is already chipping and breaking revealing rocks inside the cement). This isn't an exhaustive list of issues, just the first ones that come to mind. We were scheduled to close in the middle of June, but the builder reached out and said the house would be ready by the end of May. When the inspector arrived, he couldn't perform the inspection because construction was still being done. Our realtor explained that we wanted to wait until the original closing date, and the builder was dismissive of my realtor. It was only when I personally sent an email that the builder stopped trying to push for a May closing date. Due to the rush to get things ready, I don't believe a quality job was done. ... More

There is no response to issue once the house closes escrow. I have been trying to contact Zack regarding our floors and landscaping. No one returned calls or emails. Several people have had the same experience.

Not integral

things still did not get fixed from walk thru, paying someone else to do it, electrical switches, etc.,,, missing blinds, missing entry door pieces ( resolved), tile floor had a substance on it - paid a company to clean it, inside walls not straight, the job just looked hurried even the painting- just sloppy, like thrown together to move to the next one. the way we were forced to sign off ahead of what was agreed to, hoa attitude, nobody communicates to each other, could go on and on, please dont do this to future buyers. ps your people know most of this and some did apologize

No matter how many bad reviews are written about this company I know nothing will change. But here's another one. The quality in this house is sub par, we've had people in and out of this house at least once a week fixing things and we have only lived here 3 moths.

I've worked with Lennar in our regions several times before and it was okay, but this is my first time working with Lennar Dallas Forth Worth and it was bad. The did not install the rods for the closet and laundry room when they handed me the keys. Event after telling them several times. It eventually to 1 month for them to install after I had moved it and me reaching out few days.

I went into this expecting a nightmare of paperwork, but instead it was easier then buying a car.

I absolutely loved my experience purchasing my Lennar home. From touring the models, going through underwriting and given my keys was perfect and handled professionally. I couldn't be more happier and we are loving our new home.

From the beginning of the home-buying process through closing, the entire team was professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. We had such a wonderful experience with our builder! We needed a move-in-ready home, and they went above and beyond to take care of us. Sara *****, our warranty agent has been terrific. With any new house, there are tweaks needed. Sara has been right on top of our service requests. The “trades” she has sent out have been professional and friendly. Lennar and employees have been great.
