I paid a good price for this home but I see many of the materials us3d to construct my home are poor or low quality that will not last more than 4 to 5 years like the exterior siding made out of compressed wood not cement hardy bia4ds. I also see loopholes to avoid some warranty repairs like trees that died 2 weeks after purchase date etc. Overall, good price but I will not buy a lennar home again. Thank you for the survey

Made my first home buying experience horrible. Took over 3 months from approving me to closing with little to no communication on their end. Stay away !!!!!!

The home I got it’s not the same as model house! So many details they are not finished. The builder used the cheap materials. For the 2210sqf I paid 471.۰۰۰in my Neighbourhood paying a lot less!

Be make sure to have a good Lender that will help you out through the process. Steve the first lender we had from Lennar quits on us. and I feel that he didn’t do his best to help us get the house. the 2nd lender we had outside Lennar was one of the best and she helped us get our dream home. But whatever happened Lennar still one of the good builders I know.

Mold growing in basement within 2 weeks of moving in. Builder told me it’s my problem now. So much for warranty

Great expereince with purchase and customer service

Great experience for a first time home buyer. Solid, single story block Florida home. Insurance loved it. Not a forever home, but the best right now home to build wealth.

My wife & I moved to North Carolina in late 2023. We were renting a townhome in Wake Forest, NC. We are both retired. We have usually bought existing homes but there was little inventory and all were over-priced. We decided to look at new construction. After some searching we found Lennar was building homes in two subdivisions near Garner, NC. We toured a number of homes in their Annandale subdivision. The lots were large (immediate plus) and we liked the layout of a few of their models. Our rental lease was due to expire in May of this year. The sales rep, Traci, showed us which lots and homes were expected to complete construction in May. We had a specific requirement for a downstairs bedroom with walk-in shower as my wife's 90+ year old mother will be coming to live with us. The Landrum III met our needs and we were able to select our desired lot. Traci offered incentives for the purchase and the price was better than any existing home. The construction manage, Chandler, assigned to us was fabulous. He kept us appraised of progress and answered all our questions. We obtained our mortgage through Lenner at a better than market rate. Lennar has an excellent customer oriented buying and quality control process. We closed on the house on May 1st. I have heard too many horror stories associated with new construction. I absolutely LOVE my new Lennar home!! I love the community feel, the location, and the home itself! The builders did such an amazing job of making sure to include very nice finishing touches. Love the open layout, and love the feel! I would highly recommend Lennar to other home buyers!

Love the garage options

I had high hopes when I purchased my home from Lennar, but unfortunately, the experience during and after closing has been very disappointing. 1. Seller’s Credit Issue at Closing: Lennar attempted to reduce the agreed-upon seller credit at the last minute, just before closing. Despite our persistence, we were finally able to get the full credit restored, but this caused a significant delay during closing at the attorney’s office -- an incredibly stressful and unprofessional situation for what should have been a smooth process. 2. Driveway and Garage Issues: Within just a week of closing, my driveway started showing signs of damage with visible breakages and multiple pop-outs. The garage floor is experiencing the same issue. Despite raising multiple service requests through the Lennar portal, they were closed without proper resolution or even a thorough assessment. 3. Mailbox Key Handover Delay: I did not receive my mailbox key until three weeks after closing. This only happened after repeated follow-ups and personal visits to both Lennar’s office and the USPS—something that should have been streamlined as part of the handover process. 4. Backyard Grading and Water Logging: The grading in the backyard was done poorly. Whenever it rains, water collects and gets logged in certain areas. Again, multiple service requests were submitted, but Lennar management simply dismissed them, claiming this issue is not covered under warranty, despite it being a construction-related flaw. Overall, my experience with Lennar’s post-sale service has been frustrating and disappointing. What should have been an exciting and smooth transition into a new home has turned into a series of unresolved issues and broken commitments. I sincerely hope Lennar reconsiders how it handles customer concerns after closing, especially for buyers who put their trust and savings into a new home. ... More

We love our home. The process was great with Lennar helping us through the process. Sometimes to many times redoing paperwork. Needs more windows in some areas but it's what it is. Wiring for garage door is to thin. I still don't get why they would not have a garage door opener included. We spend enough it should be. This area needs a whole house serge pertector we were told it had one. It doesn't. Laminate on floor is to thin. My dogs hate the grass. They do not like walking on it. It's like something hurts them. Ground needed to be compacted more where our grass is.sprinklers we should have a diagram of where they are located. ... More

I am a home owner at Marion Ranch. I move into my dream home on May 1st, 2025. I never have seen my water system irrigation working. My grass is horrible . I have call the association and nothing have been done. I keep calling and calling for someone to come and check my water sprinkler and no one cares at this point I am so frustrated I don’t know what to do no more. When you move they supposed to give you some things that come with the house for example a tile box , that’s another thing, no one cares. So when you are buying everything is great, but after that, good luck if someone listens to you. I move here because my family are moving from up North and we all wanted to be together. Our home buying experience was pretty smooth with the exception of our lennar mortgage experience. Our primary contact was last minute and unresponsive which created some challenges and frustration. We loved our construction manager and team. However, having move directly from brand new construction home, im disappointed in some of the cosmetic issues and lack of attention to detail I’ve experienced since being here. I’m grateful for the 1 year warranty that covers some of this but the cosmetic stuff is not covered and wasn’t remedied as desired upon the final walk through. Our home buying experience was largely very positive. The sales team was knowledgeable and friendly, and I never felt like they were trying to pressure us in any way. Once we signed the contract, Lennar did a pretty good job of emailing us with pictures and a status update upon building milestones. When we got to the pre-dry wall inspection, our inspector found several minor issues and a few code-related issues, the biggest of which was a load bearing beam that wasn’t secured properly (all bolts missing at both ends). We pointed the issues out to Lennar, and they committed to fixing them. They largely addressed the minor issues, but we really had to stay on our construction manager to address the beam. It took several weeks of following up repeatedly, and even scheduling an impromptu on-site meeting with him, to finally get the issue addressed. That left us feeling like they were really trying to skate by and not do the work unless they absolutely had to. Thankfully it was ultimately addressed, but the hassle it caused us cost Lennar a star on our review. Since then, though, our experience has been very positive. There were again several issues we found during our final inspection, but Lennar fixed all of them (it was a different construction manager at the end, and he seemed much more thorough, even going above and beyond on some fixes). We have also had to submit a few warranty claims, but again, Lennar addressed them very quickly and satisfactorily. Overall, we love our house. It’s a beautiful house and we think it was a good value. If we had to do it again, we would go with Lennar again. ... More

Everyone from start to finish was very professional and was very smooth. Always was prompt with calls and information.

Our home is absolutely beautiful, and we love it. The price and interest rate were great!!!! Also, the insurance rate was outstanding. The salesman was kind and considerate, never pushy. I should have paid better attention in the walkthroughs. However, every item was rectified. There is natural light in every room, and again, I love this house. Now for the negative: The dishwasher is of the lowest quality. I plan to replace it in the near future. I would change the attic access in the hall to the garage if I could. I would also change the electric panel from the outside to the garage. I am happy !!!! ... More

Let's separate house, materials, workmanship, Lennar Mortgage/LennarTitle. House has nice layout and looks good, materials mostly cheap but apparently that's what you get for such price. Nice looking place, if you don't know what to look for or didn't order separate inspection. Big pluses: - good lot, great amenities center (really awesome). - people are responsive and nice. - sales guy is awesome, he even made his own website to give people needed information, cause Lennar doesn't do it. House issues: - NEVER buy house (even new one) without external inspection. I had 12 minutes video of me walking the house and listing the issues. Quality control is poor. Example: AC vent is closed by dry wall, so no AC in the room. Huge gaps in the lanai mesh metal parts, so anything can fly inside or fall from the wind. Safety issues, dents, pain issues, ghost doors, stains, etc. - to be fail most of the issues where resolved, but the only way to make them fix few major issues was not to accept the house. - house should be finished and passed to the owner clean, right? Nope, it was dirty with lots of debris after asap fixes. Disappointing. Lennar Mortgage and Title: - great experience about all, really good job. Except one of them messed up and I exigently found out that I have to go into the office to sign in person the day before (even in the system it was written that it's fully remote), not fun experience trying to shift all the plans and work ASAP! I expected a much better quality home for $400,000. Walls were painted poorly. There were baseboards that weren't painted very well. The exterior of the house was dirty even though it was supposed to have been pressure washed the day before closing. My rear slider doors were scratched. While the warranty people were very responsive, it's been a fight to get things covered.

We love our new home at Candleberry Place! Denise, the sales agent, recommended the perfect home for us, she was so helpful and really listened to what we were looking for! She is a great asset to Lennar! Haney, the operations manager, was also very helpful when we purchased our home. He listened to my concerns about some minor problems with the home, and he had them corrected right away! He was easy to get in touch with, and followed thru with any concerns we had. Our house has all the latest amenities and we are glad we moved here!
