From sales to construction ! Excellent service ! Beautiful home

I bought and financed through Lennar so I’d say I got a fairly good deal. All equipment and appliances included saving me the hassle of shopping for each items individually. The frustrating part of the whole buying process was the Mortage team always asking for the same documents. To make it worse they give you only 24hrs to upload it.

The entire process from the beginning to end was great. Every person I dealt with at Lennar was kind & humble to explain things. I am greatful.

As a first time home owner, my questions were mostly answered. Experience was good and follow up after moving in was mostly good. My seller agent and customer care representative were very good to work with.

Every thing thru the closing was great. Sales staff couldn’t be more helpful. Construction supervisor was very helpful and competent. Once house was closed Lennar was less than responsive. I would encourage others to purchase Lennar home but would recommend that prior to closing make sure you identify problems and have them resolved prior to closing.

The sales people were awesome. The loan process could have been less stressful. They wanted the same info sent to them multiple times. Taylor the sales consultant was fabulous and very helpful. The title reps were awesome and my Broker Rachel was fantastic. We have had a few issues after we moved in and Wendy has been awesome. She has went out of her way several times and has always been there when we needed help. When we moved in the house could have been a lot more cleaner. The floors have markings on them from the installation that will not come out and they are not shiny as you would think they should be. ... More

Glad we had our own realtor to help guide us through the process with them but Lennar did an excellent job working with us and our realtor. Our realtor was impressed and said it was one of the best experiences she had with a builder and our home inspector said the same thing. The post-purchase support has been excellent and our warranty liaison has been fantastic.

I don’t know where to start here. They use the cheapest labor. Cheapest parts. We moved into our home, and our home received 0 internet signal (we pay through our hoa). Cheap siding that had fallen off more than once. Then the people who fix it, leave white caulking on the side of the house and expect you to file claims to get it fixed. Plumbing was backed up with concrete. Rocks. Trash. Screws. Our customer service rep tried saying “well we can’t prove that it was or wasn’t you”. As if my family and o would take off toilets and sinks, to jam a bunch of rocks and concrete into our new home and pipes. Makes 0 sense. Plumbers came. Knocked a pipe. Sewage went all over the house. Weeks later, the flooring guy came and had to bring his daughter to translate into English for him. I’ve had more strangers come into our new home than family or friends. Wrong parts have been ordered. Things have been ruined. I paid people to move and set up our new house (normally I’d do it myself but I was in a head on collision and had a whole slew of problems with my neck and back. My 9 year old broke his back and spine). So you’d think, with Lennar knowing all of this, they’d be more helpful. Boy, you can’t be more wrong. It’s like pulling teeth. We had the kitchen cabinet people come yesterday, only to find out they had the wrong parts ordered, so more waiting is to be had. I miss my Pulte home. Be careful, make sure you hire your own inspector. Do not use whoever Lennar uses (that you pay for). Good luck. ... More

Was an easy move in. The home was ready move in. No problems that needed to be taken care of up front.

We choose a lot and purchased a Lennar home to be built for us in early November 2024 and then closely monitored and videoed the entire build. We are left disappointed with the construction workmanship, much of which took place during the winter. The concrete for the foundation and floors was poured in sub-zero temperatures with inadequate freeze protection with constantly failing heaters allowing the concrete to freeze in early curing stage leaving questionable quality. Roof ice shield installed over snow on the sheeting in temps so cold there was no adhesion at all. Windows and doors installed in the same conditions and any hand framing done was of very poor workmanship, overhead garage door which fell off due to missing/ un-tightened fasteners, etc. Interior fit and finish poor with low quality cabinets (our fault for not noting prior to purchase), Refrigerator door that slams into pantry doorknob (response from Lennar when complaint filed was " no action will be taken since construction was to plan"!). That points up Lennar customer service. Since nothing can be changed after the purchase agreement is signed, customer service consists of reporting what's been done. Jordan and Noah, our building supervisors, were very good within the constraints of what Lennar would allow. They personally accommodated us in our requests for changes or corrections whenever they could. Our Lennar Mortgage Lender local Rep was not very helpful, leaving us confused, with little information and failing to correct several errors along the way. Alan at Lennar Mortgage Main Office was always helpful and followed through on all matters in his control. Lennar closed on the original date they gave us, a plus, however we had no driveway or sod for another month after that. At this date, 2 months after closing, we still wait for Lennar to issue our final grading report so we can apply to the HOA for approval of an exterior deck we wish to build. Our contact efforts have so far gone unanswered. I would never recommend anyone pre-purchase a Lennar Home to be built for them. Buying a pre built spec home wouldn't change the poor winter building outcome but at least you wouldn't have to watch and you would avoid all the post closing finishing work.. ... More

The quality of the framing and finish leaves much to be desired. The second-floor creaks, and the plywood on the second floor isn't laid in a staggered pattern. The ceilings aren't even because the builders didn't level the trusses before installing the drywall. Buyers aren't given a blue tape inspection before closing where they could point out deficiencies. So, we have to live in the house and wait for them to fix these issues under warranty, if that even happens.

It's been a nightmare for the first 3 mos so far. As you spend time at the house you see more and more mistakes and lousy craftsmanship, from doors mishung, over screwed hinges, misroutered strike plates, bulges and divots in the plaster and Sheetrock over bulging framing. The absolute cheapest , but good looking kitchen and bathroom cabinets-glued and pinned together but with bad finishes on doors and pins sticking straight out of the drawer boxes and glue just floating about the boxes. Slider doors do not close properly, 'Caulkless' tub surrounds need caulk as their resolution to a leaking tub ledge! Paint, caulk, and plaster all over surfaces they don't belong on-floors knobs and hinges. Antenna wire on garage door opener was not there, flashing on entryway gutter was not there, interior garage door had water damage but was just painted over and left in place. Warranty claims are addressed but Lennnar doesn't want to take responsibility or looks for a cheap way out of it. My bedroom carpets all have trade stains on them and they've cleaned them 2x and they still want to try a 3rd cleaning solution! The paver driveway and the floor tile so far seems to be the only positives. It's disheartening to buy a newly built home and hate the sight of your own walls and doors! It's a never ending scheduling of visits and appts to review and repair( or not).just typing this review this morning has already ruined another day in my Lennar home bringing it all up on a Sunday. There's lots left out but my advise is to be careful and hire a home inspector. ... More

Like home and location.

Lied to us to get us to buy sooner, lost over 4K breaking our lease. Lawn either dead or dying when we moved in. Many issues with home itself, who puts a vent directly above the shower so air blows on you when you are in said shower? Nothing but complete regret buying this home, if we were not desparate to get out of renting we would have walked away. Should have looked at other options.

I had so many issues i had to address them myself. Now, I had poor sod installation with large gaps and after the rain that night caused almost all of the top soil to erode. The head then almost died and lennar refuses to correct it.

The purchase process was straightforward, though it’s important to consider factors like discounts, add-ons, and more. The quality of the villa seems good, and the Arden community is beautiful with its impressive landscaping and amenities. The construction team provided a great experience; the salesperson was friendly and made sure all details were clarified. They kept their promises and delivered within the agreed timeframe. Based on my experience, I highly recommend this construction company for their professionalism during negotiations.

James was great during the purchase process. Trying to connect with him afterwards was difficult. Not sure if he even still works for Lennar. Waiting on a few minor repairs. Process is super slow. Overall very happy with home. I’m sure we’ll get it worked

I knew going in that there was no customization. That should be known up front as you cannot pay more to add or change something. The quality of the workmanship and materials is a little less than I expected for the price tag of over 400k as we've had a number of defect issues. The responsiveness of their quality team is excellent, though, and everything is being fixed promptly. They are way behind on getting things like lawns and sidewalks in. We closed about 6 weeks before having any landscaping whatsoever, so be ready for a bit of a wait there, and a large patch of the sod was put down already dead, so that's going to have to be fixed as well. ...
