Overall, a good experience. There are a few minor 'new home' issues to address, but these are not unexpected. Things to improve: Water softener should be included. Patio & deck should be included. Landscaping is a little underwhelming. It should match the price of the home.

I trusted Lennar for providing a carefree house, however please get your own inspector.

The home buying process with Lennar is great and seamless. We chose to go with Lennar Mortgage and that made it even more smooth. If you are building with Lennar you need to be prepared, there is no grey area and VERY limited choices. The quality of material continually went down as we went through the process of picking a lot and building. We went from you have several choices of cabinet to you get white. Our pocket door is unusually small and the powder room sink isn't even big enough to hold soap for guests. These are the details, they have forgotten about. If someone gave thought to how a person lives in a house, this would be an amazing builder. Floor plan options, communication, resolution of issues are all A+ with Lennar. ... More

The actual buying experience initially was very smooth, however since closing escrow and moving end to the community I am less than pleased with certain things. 1. - HOA covenants was not provided to me prior to signing purchase agreement nor was it provided to me at the close of escrow. Not being provided a copy and then receiving a violation letter for information that I was unaware is a little off kilter. (not happy) 2. I have followed 3 separate instructions for the homeowner request for community pool key and still have not received key or further communication from Legacy HOA as to the status of my request. (left VM, no response, 2nd call, was advised to request pool key via email, received pool request form via email response, filled out and physically mailed request to main office in Frisco, TX per instructions and still haven't received key) 3. No appropriate storage within house/rooms 4. No lighting in closets 5. Garage interior unfinished 6. Driveway stained; sidewalks along street and within community are already severely cracked and are in need of repair for the safety of the residents in the community 7. No transparency. If I didn't ask questions for the purpose of homeowner information, nothing was provided 8. Grass was dug up by ATT; left it a mess and dead grass but there was no prior notification or approval from homeowners that this was happening or going to happen and no explanation as to why. Overall this home is very well built. Good trades did the work. Floor plan is wonderful (Paris). Landscaping is really nice. Grass is thick and healthy. We are in exactly the type of lot we wanted with a pond and a generous back yard. It’s big my first new house so I know there are hiccups and expect to work through them to success. Finishes are average in Lennar homes. Quartz countertops are thin. The back half of two counters is not polished - it’s still rough. I’ve put in a request to repair. Joints are not tight in molding but have been caulked at my request. By final walk through minor things were well repaired. But…..it’s hard to get support through the app and though some support has been excellent the need to rely on a difficult website is disappointing. Manager and web interface help is great. Major disappointments: pavers in driveway and edge of walk way are collapsed and bricks crumbling with normal activity. Back screen door only closes half way and it was once fixed. Cabinets are cheap and door closures flimsy. Paint inside is watered down, flat and chalky. I understand the need to spray everything requires thinning the paint. But this is very thin. On the “good list”: Tile and floor work is excellent. Walls are square and even. Ceiling texture is great. We love the house and we have great neighbors. ... More

This is not my first time buying a house with a national builder. I feel the quality of the drywall work in my house was sub-par. Inside corners are not smooth and appear to be a rushed job. There is a giant crack in the ceiling from the middle of the living room to the island. I understand house move and shift but I am hoping this gets fixed at some point. There was also a large chunk of concrete missing from the front porch. This was fixed by just slapping some fill in it which does not look great. Also over time will probably chip out. The builder should have had the porch replaced. I am not a fan of the white trim and cabinets. The quality of the cabinets seem rather cheap considering the price point of the house. I also know that even if we would have done a "dirt sale" we still would not have had a different option in trim/cabinets. I don't understand why a towel ring was not provided in the main bath upstairs and in the owners suite. It would be nice to have those provided and installed as part of the overall package. It would also be useful to have a storage cabinet or larger vanity in the master bath. A ceiling fan would also be very useful in the laundry room as there is no air movement in there and it becomes very hot and stuff which will lead to mold done the road. Not exactly sure about the quality of workmanship. I found things that should have been done differently. Some paint, wood material that should have been changed out or turns another way. Flower beds are crowded. Way too many plants. Just odds and ends. Little things that add up. 90% are too small to call and have fixed. I did them myself

The beginning of my homebuying experience was exciting and smooth — choosing the house and putting the money down was easy. However, once it came time to close, things took a frustrating turn. Communication from the closing department became nearly nonexistent, making what should have been a celebratory time stressful and uncertain. After receiving my keys, I was told the home had gone through its "final clean," but unfortunately, it had not. I was never informed that the grass would only be laid out 15 feet from the house, and no explanation or heads-up was given. Even more frustrating, the trees that were planted were clearly not set up to survive — they were poorly installed and left without proper care or conditions, essentially giving them no chance to thrive. Buying a home is a big and emotional investment. While the initial process gave me hope, the lack of follow-through and attention to detail in the final stages has left me overall disappointed. ... I was so excited to buy a Lennar home, but the escrow experience was horrible. I dealt with unresponsive escrow people, even calling the Homebuyer Concierge rep and never getting any follow up contact, which begs the question as to what kind of concierge services do they provide. The only thing they seemed interested in was getting their money. Plus, there were offers made that we never completed.

The buying experience was very good. I had tried to buy a house before, and it was a nightmare. But Lennar made their process easy. The house design is wonderful however, the quality of the material used in the building are Mid tier. The customer service was good, but once the house was purchased, I didn’t get any response to my inquiries. Overall, I’ll give them an 7 out of 10. I’m going to recommend going with them for affordability.

The issues were addressed promptly and rectified. The loan process was straightforward. I recommend Lennar.

The Builder's reps have excellent customer service skills, and the home so far is great, hope it continues. Recommend Lennar to all

It was unfortunate that we had to provide the same documents over and over again to the mortgage representative. We kept getting asked the same questions about which we’d already answered. The shower enclosure is not safe for folks who are 6’ tall and the builder would do nothing about it. The new home representative said I couldn’t park in the drive way because the driveway still belonged to Lennar. Overall a poor showing.

Everyone from was very professional and friendly and knowledgeable. I had many questions and all were answered. It is a beautiful area and the homes are very beautiful too.

great value for money. builder wont cover cosmetic after closing even though home never moved into for a while after closing (and before move in). So be careful in documenting exhaustively all issues.

There are issues with the community itself that Lennar refuses to find a resolution for such as people parking in my turnaround spot as I am an end unit. The grass is being destroyed and is turning into a mud pit in my corner because of this issue that no one will fix

All folks from Lennar and Osbourne Trails were very helpful and courteous.

The teams have been responsive and helpful, although because of the size of the company getting to the right person can require persistence and asking the right questions. The workmanship is reasonable, materials are generally contractor grade, and the attention to detail is mediocre-particularly the painting.

Our realtor Tommy was amazing from start to finish. Any question we had was answered very quickly! The home we bought is beautiful. We had an inspection and the comment was this is one of the nicest new builds he had ever seen. The process for the loan was also outstanding. Plus the follow up for any issues quick and efficient. Highly recommend the Lennar team!

Do not purchase a Lennar. The loan/underwriting process was very intense. Also, make sure you know what you are NOT getting before you move into your home. They focus on what it includes, but don't tell you what you are not getting. For example: Refrigerator, back door blinds, bathroom shower racks, shower curtain rods, DOOR BELL, washer and dryer (may sure to check the connections) guest bedroom closet lights. I wouldn't do this again.....

As an architect, I can say first and foremost that the community is spectacular. What's coming to the area is very good because this community has it all. I love it.

I absolutely love my new home. The craftsmanship is amazing. The process was fairly easy. Everyone that I encountered was helpful and informative and I love the community.

Sonia, the general experience is good. But I am having troubles with the dishwasher and it seems that nobody is going to help me. I registrate already the appliances, but when I call because the dishwasher doesnot function it seems that nobody care. I am wating for a solution.???
