We bought our second home from Lennar and we love it. Very nice floor plan and design, great location and overall good experience. My only complaint is the kitchen countertop. It has some big stains form installation that we didn’t notice on the final walkthrough and looks like are not covered by their warranty. So make sure you check everything it’s covered and address all issues before buying.

Joe from Lennar Mortgage, Connie from Lennar Sales and Rob from Warranty are about the only positive thing I can say. They do their job, they care and they work hard. Otherwise,.. We were promised and told even through we were closing 7 weeks early we would have driveways and grass finished, we closed on 4/18 and its June and still not done. The assistant construction manager is rude and belittling and says the actual manager will call and does not call back. I have 3 young kids and a dog and they are unable to play outside and I have to walk my dog on dangerous conditions of rock with screws beer bottles/cans and caps left everywhere from the workers. We redid our island to find beer cans and chips INSIDE! I enjoyed the buying experience from start to finish. I didn’t even think I could purchase a new home, but Lennar process.

I haven’t had an issue with a single one of their employees. But Scott has been the best. He has been there whenever I’ve had any issue sometimes within hours of my problem. Several other places I went we’re not willing to help us out when Lennar was able to jump through hoops to make sure we could get what we needed.

What an incredible experience buying a home from Lennar has been. From start to finish, everyone we met and worked with was top notch-professional, caring and really good at what they do. We love our new home. Quality and workmanship is excellent. Very happy with Lennar!

Everyone was great process was great

Everyone I met, starting from the sales to lenders to construction managers to final turnover coordinators, was personable and professional. I almost felt no pressure in making the decision and experienced no pain in all the transactions and procedures. It was a dream. I am a LENNAR believer now.

I was only in town for three days looking at homes and was in a hurry to make a purchase, as I was moving to Utah within two months. In hindsight, I blame myself for not taking more time to inspect the home more closely. If I had the chance to do it over again, I would not have purchased this home. Lennar doesn’t put much thought into their home designs. The cabinets are cheaply made,two drawers fell apart within the first week. The shower glass in the master bedroom is too short, causing water to splash over the top onto the walls and floors. The closet rods weren’t installed properly, and my clothes fell to the floor the first night I hung them. Additionally, I’ve now lived in this home for two months and still don’t have landscaping. Lennar claims there is no water supply for landscape use in the neighborhood, yet they failed to mention this until after closing. Some homeowners in the area have been waiting over a year for their lawns, which is absolutely ridiculous. I could go on, but these are the worst issues. When you buy a brand-new home for $400,000, you shouldn’t feel the need to replace cabinets, shower glass, or fix closet rods within days of moving in. While some aspects were done right, the house simply isn’t worth what I paid. At this point, it is what it is, but my advice is to take the time to thoroughly inspect what you’re purchasing. Lennar uses low-quality materials, and their subcontractors clearly lack expertise. The craftsmanship is subpar, and I would know,I’ve been in construction for 35 years. The entire process was flawless! Everything went so smooth everybody was great to work with And we are super happy with our new home! Thank you everybody for everything you’ve done at Lennar!

We closed on our home in April. We fell into it essentially. It was someone else's to buy but their contract fell through last minute. We snatched it up. Within the last month we have had a couple of issues. From day one the shut off access points for the water near the curb set up very high and lean to the side. The water main blew out the other night at one of these access points. Pipe broke off. I guess one too many times bumping it with the lawnmower or trash cans. The air conditioning was a little wonky at first. The upstairs would stay cooler than the downstairs. We noticed that the downstairs thermostat was not able to accurately control the air-conditioning system. Those things being said, when we reported them to the customer care they were very prompt with their response and took care of the problems immediately. Kim especially with customer care was extremely helpful in taking care of our issues. My overall experience with Lennar has been exceptionally good. I know and expect that there are some corners cut to keep the cost down. I am OK with that. I'm not looking for a 100% Custom home. I was looking for a beautiful home for my family that I can afford, we found that with Lennar. ... More

I had the pleasure of working with Dustin during my homebuying journey, and he was absolutely amazing! There were a few bumps along the way, but Dustin was right there guiding me through each step. We are pleased with the construction and attention to detail in this twin home. However, the home buying experience with Lennar Mortgage was horrendous, and immediately after closing they sold the mortgage to Freedom Mortgage, which like Lennar Mortgage has incredibly bad reviews online. The home is nice, but if you buy a Lennar home, and you want a smooth, stress-free process, do not choose Lennar Mortgage.

The team that took care of me included Kambria, Calvin, Brandon, Dave and later Dan. Everyone single one of them was great to work with and educated me through the process, answered all my questions, followed up and they all gave me great customer service. However, I did have a really bad experience with Kimberly. She was supposed to be the concierge designated to help me. I had such a bad experience with her I requested for her to be removed from my project. I have more information to give and show you. I request to discuss them further with someone in Lennar. Kimberly should not be in a position of customer service, maybe a more behind the scenes would be better for her. ... More

Relatively easy process to purchase townhome. Nice layout and floor plan.

The doors and windows are a joke. Lennar is no longer focusing on quality, they focus strictly on profit. The repair people even say, the large sliders, are defective and poor quality. It takes 2 hands to operate and a lot of muscle. The sales team is great. I don't think I'd ever buy another home from a track builder. The plumbing is the cheapest of the cheap. Push fittings for turn offs. I mean they cut everywhere they can. My friend worked for lennar 20 years ago when they were worried about quality and profits equaly. I know they have to make money, but my god be reasonable.

Beware buying a new Lennar Home and closing before you get the results of an independent home inspection as there is pressure to approve all conditions within a short period of time and barely obvious minor problems may be hidden.

This has been a great experience purchasing a home from Lennar. The final walkthrough explained everything about the home. However, the thing that I was most impressed with was the way they handle any issues after your close. We noticed 2 weeks after we closed that it was a crack in a window. We opened a case and someone reach out to resolve the issue within 24 hours. They provided regular updates and the was friendly.

Some of the paint on a few of the doors started to chip in less than a week of moving in without anything touching or irritating paint. Owner is responsible for fixing that as builder will not fix. Small entry holes throughout the home especially back door for an abundance of ants and other similar creatures to come in despite alleged pest control treatment completed prior to moving in. Pay attention to irrigation system and water meters as first utility bill EXTREMELY high despite not having ANY leaks in home

Entire purchase experience was miserable.

Lennar made our dream of becoming homeowners a reality and it was such a seamless process. Will was patient and kind through all my ups and downs of the emotional rollercoaster I was on. He helped keep my eye on the prize and didn’t let me give up hope when I thought it was too good to be true. Our house is amazing and everything was built with care and quality. I’ve already recommended them to good friends and family. An exceptional experience from the moment we met Laurie who truly listened and understood our needs to closing and signing and getting our keys.

Very good attitude, attention, helpful and nice people. Thanks to Lennar’s employees we finally got our own house.

Couldn’t have asked for a better buying experience. Lennar was a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process. The loan processors were so patient and answered all of my questions every step of the way. Any issues that we have had Lennar has responded to right away! Thank you Lennar and crew!!!!
