A good experience with professionals who knows what they are doing

Overall great experience. I wish Lennar did price match/price adjustments lol. The home I purchased codt more than the actual homes that’s selling now. I understand it though. It’s business.

I like my home but it has been a headache since first doing our walk through. I can’t believe that Lennar is okay with the condition of their homes when it is time to close. The house was dirty. Walls, floors, cabinets, windows all dirty. It has been 60 days and we still do not have grass. I want to plant flowers but unable to. I would not suggest Lennar home to others. My first new built home was Cambridge. They were so much better

Sarah in Sales and EJ who walked us through closing were awesome. They made this home buying experience so enjoyable.

We have recently moved into our our new Lennar home and have found issues we could not see during final walk through. Shower door leaks, feel the nail heads sticking up when walking barefoot on the carpets, unfinished flooring at the bottom of stairs, see sunlight coming through gaps in the attic walls, breaker keeps throwing off when several family members use electricity at same time, fire alarms going off randomly and lots of cracks in the front porch concrete that are not guaranteed with home warranty. The homes are beautiful but construction needs major upgrades in building these homes.

The quality of the work put into a NEW Lennar home is VERY Subpar. In my 1st 2 months in my new home I have had the Warranty department here atleast 6 times. Wishing I would have Kept house shopping when I made the "Mistake" of buying Lennar

The buying experience seemed satisfactory at the beginning and until closing. However, once we moved into our new home at the Trails community in Carmel Mountain Ranch San Diego, we observed that the USPS letters were not getting delivered to our assigned mailbox. We learned that USPS has not yet installed the mailbox carrier locks and they didn't have a timeline for completing the corresponding work order. The mails will start getting delivered only after the mailbox carrier locks are installed. We contacted Lennar and to our surprise they just apologized, but showed no willingness to help resolve this issue. They just told that it is now a USPS issue, and they can’t do anything to help with this, and we would have to contact USPS over selves. Before buying, the Lennar new home consultant had assured us that they can't close escrow without setting up the mailbox and we will be receiving all our mails in the assigned mailbox itself once we move in. However, we were shocked to find out that the mailbox carrier locks are not installed yet and mails are not getting delivered in the mailbox. If Lennar had not concealed this important fact or about the potential possibility of mails not getting delivered to the mailbox by the time we move in, we would never have bought this home. This was of utmost importance to us before buying the home and we made sure to check with the new home consultant multiple times before buying the home, but now we are stuck since whatever the new home consultant promised turned out to be false. Currently we are struggling to get our mails, and we have to make regular trips to the USPS delivery location to pick-up. Most of the time, the mails are not available for pickup at the USPS delivery location on time and some seem to have got misplaced by USPS (we haven’t received few one-month-old mails yet). At one time, we found few letters lying at out front door, potentially dropped off by a resident of some other address where these got delivered incorrectly by USPS. In spite of multiple requests to Lennar representatives (viz. new home consultant, customer care representative, HOA etc.), they have shown no inclination to coordinate with USPS to help resolve this quickly. ... I would not recommend Lennar’s financing to prospective buyers. My experience with the loan process was frustrating, with numerous issues that could have been avoided. The required Letters of Explanation (LOEs) felt intrusive and unnecessary—other lenders I was working with didn’t require similar documentation. The only reason I ended up using Lennar was because I signed a disclosure agreeing not to use another lender within 30 days of closing. However, Lennar moved my closing date up by a month without providing an addendum, which added to the frustration. My dissatisfaction continued when I was threatened by Kelsey K., the Lennar Concierge Agent. She told me that if I didn’t use Lennar as my lender, they would cancel my purchase just days before closing. This seemed entirely unreasonable and put me in a position where I felt I had no choice but to go with Lennar. I reached out via email, cc’ing several individuals (Diane B., Cameron B., and Lori T.), but I received no follow-up or assistance other than from Kelsey and she barely answered any other questions other than sending me a copy of where I signed the disclosure. It was incredibly disappointing, especially considering the lack of customer service. Regarding the loan team, I had a relatively new agent, Cole A., and there was a lack of consistency. Someone was always on vacation, which made information transfer difficult and delayed the process. Similarly, I had two loan processors, John and Chevon, during the few weeks leading up to closing. John was excellent, proactive in communicating, and always made sure I had the information I needed. However, Chevon was responsive, preferring to only communicate by email, which made it harder to resolve issues quickly. Speaking directly on would have saved a few days of back-and-forth. On a positive note, the QA and construction teams were much easier to work with compared to the administrative side. Overall, the experience with Lennar financing was unsatisfactory, and I would advise potential buyers to be cautious and seek alternatives. ... More

As a senior who is only moderately techy, the entire process of qualifying and closing was overwhelming. I received email requests, of duplicates on at least 4 different email addresses.some came to me; some came to my wife; and often we got duplicate requests for $ information from different people. My android phone was frequently inadequate, and just as frequently the Lennar professionals could not help. The entire process needs to be pared down and made much more user friendly

I saved and put most everything into this home. I love the lay out, However, I am so mad that I closed with the understanding that I would have a driveway, grass and landscape when the weather broke. I just got my driveway 2 weeks ago, I am still waiting for grass and landscape and painting the outside and a Handle for my outside water so I can Clean the siding and windows and screens. The outside of house is filthy! the patio is also full of pop marks, but you keep building, and no one has time to complete the Closed homes only the homes ready to close.

The first walk through of the home I highlighted a lot of things that needed to be fixed. Second walk through was the same day as my closing day (very inconvenient) nothing was fixed. The home looked the same as the first walk through.

Lennar took care of me and answered my questions every step along my journey to home ownership. My realtor, Elijah Warner, promised me that Lennar were the best in the business and he was absolutely correct.

Homes are maid cheaply no quality workmanship and material. They just look pretty. Drive way, for a 4 car garage was designed poorly. Not even 2 cars can park next to each other on the drive way without getting too close to the house. Even though I paid 25k for landscaping in the backyard, I had no input how to make it just a rectangle patch of grass with no nice shape. Not all rooms have low voltage wiring which should be standard. Cheaper houses have been pre wired for cable and internet since 20 years ago. Overall, because of the mistake original salesman made in our case, it turned out to our favor and I think we got a better lot but all those issues remains. The standards Lennar has does not make sense. You guys say you don't do certain things and not customize to be on time but, let's say why can't customers have the say so in at least the color of the countertops? It's same material, same price just different color. 1.2, 1.3 million dollars is not a small amount and for that, I should have gotten a better house. Driveway is the main thing that I'd have to get rid of all those nice plants and replace them with concrete to make driveway match the house. Or using small loose rocks on the edge where it will scatter all over the siding. Who's designing all these? Bring me in and I'd do a better job. Very disappointed in Lennar but unfortunately, it's the house that family liked because of the openness and rooms that have bathrooms and walk-in closets. But, that's how I feel. You can change that by helping me at least correct the driveway at your own cost if you want a better review and recommendation from me. Also no walkway from house to street? Bad design. ... More

The whole experience except our sales person has been AWFUL. And it’s still awful, we have so many issues still not fixed. Our closing documents were lost for 5 days and almost made us homeless after closing was pushed back 5-6 times. We never got an actual move in clean and now I cannot get my floors clean and there’s residue all over that I cannot get off windows, counters, etc. we have damage to our siding from when they installed the sod which is only half the yard btw they wrecked into our house, still not repaired. Lennar is the least helpful with the most incompetent people working for them, always giving the runaround, no accountability but you had better do what THEY need asap or your deal can fall through. I had to do so much of the work myself bc if I didn’t we wouldn’t hear from anyone including our “liaison” I don’t remember what he’s called but we were supposed to be contacted weekly and that NEVER happened but when I’d reach out for updates he wasn’t very pleasant. For as much as they charge for these homes the experience is just INSANE. I 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING LENNAR.. ... More

Being a first time home buyers, we were nervous about all the logistics in the process, but with Lennar everything went by breeze and it could never get any better!

Lennar charge 2% of the sale price for not closing in time. If you live out of State, Making sure communicate directly to Title Dept that you need mobile closing. Dont trust the Sale agent. I paid $4800 for this matter. It was a trap!

The initial buying experience was great, Phil and Jennifer did a great job getting me looked after. There were several issues with the features of the house that I was nit happy at all with unknown to myself or the sales department.

Laurie was fantastic. She kept us informed throughout the whole process and made the entire experience very comfortable for us.

I didn’t receive a phone call from the sales agent when the loan funded. And the listing agent and builder will not accurately update the listing and remove it from still showing as pending or for sale and it’s been months since I closed. I’ve asked all parties repeatedly. On other notes, the house is sound and was accurately presented and is living up to what was highlighted during the initial inquiry of the property. Warranty inquires have been handled promptly. These other areas surrounding the purchase to impact the overall feeling of the customer and also it affects our interest in partnering with this builder again if these other areas are going to cause so much stress. Outstanding from the initial walk thru of the models thru the homebuying experience. Christina, Gus, and Escrow were wonderful to deal with.
