The homes are beautiful and the buying experience was really great. But after we moved in we found that there was a lot of attention to detail and uncompleted work. Good thing is that Lennar does react quickly to issues. I bought new instead of old home because I didn't want to deal with these types of issues.

I had a great experience after the real estate agent handed me off. Lauren gave us incorrect information about the home that would later cause issues for me. Everyone else was great. Jake especially, the construction manager, was really on top of everything. He handled all issues seamlessly. Love my home!

The Lennar team was very good in communication and understanding throughout the journey of buying a house. Highly recommend buying homes with them.

Damage to window glass and other issues. Also electrical outlets not installed properly. Requiring calling warranty to repair.

We had a very positive experience. Maria explained the process and made us feel very comfortable. It was like we were talking to a friend. She gave us a lovely tour of the community and our future home. Jodyann was our concierge. We heard from her soon after we had our meeting with Maria. She explained what our next steps were and what to expect moving forward. She was so sweet. Cyle did the walkthrough with us. It was very informative, it included the maintenance of our home and what certain things were and gave us our warranty information. Kirk our builder was with Cyle, as we did the walkthrough. He was super nice and professional. You could tell he wanted us to be happy with the home he and his construction team had built. We closed in 25 days and the process was smooth. Poor quality for price. Every home on my block looks the same

Home could have been built better, a lot of issues with the whole system.

The place was painted with half dried up paint Walls look terrible. Make me send poor quality workmanship to warranty when it should be sent to contractors. They rush the sale should have done a proper inspection before closing

From the start the buying process was terrible. It took up until closing to know if we were good to go for the loan from lennar mortgage. We were originally scheduled for a walk through the beginning of May. When we drove 4 hours for a 9am walk through, we were notified on site at the house that the walk through was moved. No one communicated this with us. The only formal documentation was sent 24 hours after our walk through. Do not trust the settlement contact to reach out to you. They will be unresponsive, and unprofessional. During our final home inspection walkthrough, there were numerous items we requested to ve fixed. Minor, but some still have not been addressed. The showers all leaked when we moved in, and has required someone to come out 4 different times. Come to find out, the showers were pulled out once already, without proper reinstallation. Ask for a copy of the house blue print as well. When trying to install blinds, we found out there's metal around the window, which made it so we are unable to properly install them. ... More

Daniel from the mortgage team made this process amazing. Gary was honest with us and really helped when it came to the inspection. I trusted Gary the whole process and he is a great guy.

They make it seem like it will be awesome and “everything is included” but as soon as you sign the contract they become less and less responsive. We’ve had numerous issues that need to be addressed. Have 3 open service requests right now. Upon closer review after move-in we’ve noticed some corners have been cut and cheaper materials used. No closing/welcome home gifts like we’ve gotten from previous realtors. Lennar mortgage sold our loan right away but all the paperwork wasn’t turned into the new mortgage company in time so we still don’t have an account number to pay our first mortgage payment that is due today ... The experience was great

The process was easy, smooth. The Loan Officer was great Michael that handled our loan was easy to talk to and contact through the whole process.

Have not yet moved in and no electricity. FPL says power to unit but nothing is working.

Great buying experience. Everything went smooth. All structural issues were resolved quickly. Any concerns were solve asap. I would definitely recommend it to others!

Lots of issues. Poor craftsmanship and design. Took us many times of requests to simply fix a door handle. Lots of things are not covered. Windows are scratched up and they won’t take responsibility. Gas was leaking the day we moved in. Dishwasher was dented. Rep said she would replace but later we found that order was never placed. We need to keep following up. They also are being cheap and always try to omit simple, essential items, even if it’s visible (imagine if things are hidden, what would happen). For example, they don’t even put on closet door cover (which is only $10 for 6 pieces on amazon). I will avoid Lennar builder at all cost in the future ... More

The builder offered its own financing, gave us a great price and it was all done in a month.

Creative parking is an issue. Blocked sidewalks, driveways, and fire hydrants.

We had a bad experience with the construction manager in charge. The house wasn't ready to move in because it had too many things to repair after three visits. They didn't follow up on what needed to be repaired. We moved in and realized that the kitchen tiles still hadn't been repaired. They told us it was too late and we had to call the warranty company, even though it was on the previous list. The warranty people told us they weren't going to repair it because we accepted the kitchen tiles as they were. They tricked us, and no one took responsibility. Very angry and frustrated, after many days of arguing, we managed to get the tiles repaired because it was as they promised us during the walk-through. Then the flooring started to fail again. We asked for it to be repaired because it was all installed incorrectly. From the first walk-through, they noted it, but they didn't replace all of it, just some. They came three times for warranty, and we still see defects in the flooring. The kitchen countertop was not properly glued, and they came to repair it under warranty, and it's still in bad shape. Everything has been bad from the start, and things still haven't been properly repaired. I wouldn't recommend Lennar to anyone. Poor service before and after buying the house. ... More

Lennar provided me with an amazing home purchase experience. The responsiveness from day one has been amazing. I called to schedule a tour and was able to view the house the same day. My Lennar Sales Rep was Michelle. She was personable and professional. She showed me two homes, which helped me to know which one was calling my name. I was so impressed with the style and quality of the home. The added benefits of installed blinds, dishwasher, gas range, refrigerator, microwave, washer, and dryer were really nice perks. Michelle walked me through the application and pre-approval processes. She enabled me to view the home several more times during the escrow phase. I enjoyed working with Stacy at Lennar Mortgage, and they offered the lowest interest rate. After loan approval, Lennar ensured an amazing introduction to my new home with a Celebration/New Home Orientation. James, the Lennar representative, provided the orientation, and he had a wealth of information to share. He made the experience fun and proved to be my advocate for small things that needed attention. A week later, on my escrow closing date, James rolled out the red carpet and provided my Zero-Defect Walk-Through/Final Orientation. Everything that James and I had discussed had been handled, and I was the happy owner of a brand-new Lennar home. At this stage, I was introduced to Lennar Customer Care Representative Eric, who assured me that he would be available if I had any questions or concerns in the future. He introduced me to the Lennar App and website for ease of scheduling service requests. Eric has been such a joy to work with. He is quick to respond and resolve any issues that have arisen so far. I will start off by saying that this was, and is, the best option for our new home based on the location and certain criteria we wanted. Our salesperson, Connie, was great and genuinely always responsive and we appreciate everything that she did along to make things happen. However, Lennar's website advertised a variety of customization options, but none of those were available (fireplace, sprinkler system, basement bathroom rough in etc.). The only customization options you will have on your home are the finishes, provided you agree to buy the plot early enough. We decided to move forward anyway as we had done enough looking to know this was where we wanted to be. We wanted to change some things so we requested the following items: don’t install cabinets or appliances, asked for sod in back instead of seed (or leave the seed off and we would sod) (happy to pay an upcharge), don’t install carpet in the dining room and just do LVP throughout (happy to pay an upcharge), and requested a full width three car driveway. We were just trying to not spend extra money undoing work. We were told that none of this was possible to pass occupancy, or it was just not something they offered. We didn't like the response but accepted it. Everything seemed to be on track for us to close on our home on Lennar's selected date. Ten days before closing we found out, from our lender and not Lennar, that the following items would not be completed before closing: driveway, backfill, landscaping, and sidewalks. We closed in May and work was scheduled to be completed mid-July. This also meant that our lender was requesting and additional $10k from us until the work was completed. We spoke with Connie, and she did everything she could to get it moved up, which they did, but they were still later than promised. Lennar was able to get temporary occupancy with the village until all work was done, something we would have happily discussed with them. Meanwhile, we were watching unoccupied homes around us be completed as our toddler and dog had a clay/mud pit of a yard strewn with nails and a variety of other construction garbage and litter. Gaining occupancy was now important for unoccupied homes and we, along with most of our neighbors, had to just sit and wait with no communication. We still have neighbors who are waiting to get their landscaping done. Workmanship and quality on the home are fine. There seems to be little quality control when these things are going up. They are just trying to crank them out as fast as possible. So far, we have found cracking grout, poor caulking and painting on the outside finishes, large gaps in the garage, scratches in my countertop, debris under carpet, nail/screw pops, paint drips, visible saw cuts in LVP, debris under carpet, cracked bathroom door, and various other things that should really be caught. The paint is basically just the thinnest coat of white ceiling paint all around the house and it is poorly painted. We do have our 60 days walk through coming up and we do believe these items will be resolved. Rob, our warranty manager, has been very responsive and took care of several of our items already. We did agree that some of it could wait until the 60 days so that he didn’t have to send people back and forth, and because most of these things are not vital. Not only have we had a good experience with Rob, but our neighbors have reiterated his willingness to help. The garage is also a problem for two reasons. The first is that it is simply too small. Most families in this area have at least one SUV or larger vehicle. Our Ford Explorer barely fits in the garage, let alone something larger. The steps from the house to the garage are in the middle of the two-car portion of the garage further limiting your space. As minor as our issues are, we have neighbors who are worse off with incomplete housework, foundation issues, and other issues. The last major issues are the backfill and landscaping. The backfill is supposed to be just black dirt, but it is riddled with fist sized stone (some even larger) and other chunky debris at the surface. The grading is also poor. The ground is very lumpy and uneven. I have already identified areas where there is/will be standing water. Unfortunately, we put a patio in before one year and that apparently voids any issues with grading even though the patio was put in before there was any dirt. While I am not thrilled about it, we did know that going in and chose to do it. We do have some positives. Again, Connie was a very good salesperson and very responsive. She always called/texted me back and tried to get me answers and resolutions on everything. If you have a good salesperson, they can help you along the way. They will also work with you on price. Many of the initial items that we wanted, but could not get, we received a little bit off on the price to help offset some of the work that we wanted to do. The four levels of inspection (initial walk through, final walk through, 60-day walkthrough, and 11 month) is very helpful and not typical, as far as I know. This gives the buyer a chance to notice things in the immediate and over time. We will be hiring a 3rd party inspector for the 11-month to make sure we do not miss anything. All in all, it is a fine house with so-so workmanship, materials, and finishes. We never imagined that we would ever be able to spend this much money on a home, let alone build one from scratch. We had very high expectations for this and really it turned out to be just another cookie cutter operation where the only concern is how to maximize the profit and give very little care to the customer. It is sad to see the lack of care, attention to detail, and poor/non-existent communication.
