Unfortunately, the workmanship and materials were severely lacking in our new home. We had multiple issues that could have been avoided if the proper time was taken. I feel as though the priority in this new community is quantity of homes built versus the quality of those homes. However, I will say that the responsiveness to the issues that were brought to their attention was, for the most part quick.

They don’t follow their own craftsmanship guidelines and instead do patch jobs that make things look worse. Spent time with the rep taping quality issues in the house just to have someone else come in and rip the tape off without ever fixing. At the final walk through I mentioned how nothing was even fixed and the guy didn’t care. They know that their contract forces you to close on an unfinished house. Lennar has gone downhill from what they used to be.

Overall the home buying experience has been good. As a new homeowner settling in though, the hurdles to obtain answers to issues that have arisen has been frustrating at times, with many issues having to be gone over multiple times until the correct company is determined.

I was amazed at how quickly the process took in buying my new home. There were a lot of moving parts and if I got confused or had questions I was always directed to the right person to call. I love my new home!

Quick and on time .

We love our new home! The process was flawless and communication was great throughout the purchasing process. We chose to use Lennar mortgage and their recommended home insurance provider which made for a smooth flow of all the documentation for approvals. The quality of the home is as close to a custom build as you can get. When you consider there were likely 200+ hands that took part in the build. The only issue we had was with appliances and the response time repair. I realize now it was not Lennar but the service for appliances and Ring doorbell. We also have a gutter that is noticeably bent and mentioned during walk through, but the Quality walk through representative did not include it on the repair sheet. So I will take the blame of not paying closer detail to the document. I will need to pay for the cost to replace the gutter. The Q rep stated clearly once signed no further repairs would be made. With that said ensure the requests you have during your walk through are documented. All things considered I definitely would recommend Lennar homes to anyone wanting a new build. I began my journey with Lennar through the sales process with a telephone conversation with David Scardo. He was very helpful & followed up with emails with e-brochures, etc. We scheduled a personal visit to the property in early April 2025. The tour was very professional & low pressure. We were offered several choices which met our needs. The decision was easy. The closing date was set & the process was simple. Lennar Mortgage was extremely helpful during the process. The new home was ready for move on the promised date. We’re very happy homebuyers.

Lennar knows what they are doing. They’ve thought out every serial of the process and I feel great about my purchase and everyone I dealt with.

Josh (onsite project coordinator) was helpful. Finance team had way too many people and handoffs. We had to submit the same documents multiple times. Also, our closing date was mixed up due to all of the different players. The house was significantly cheaper than other builders in the neighborhood. However, you get what you pay for. It's like we purchased a brand new Fixer-Upper with all of the modifications and upgrades we are having to make.

I guess the biggest thing is the only objective is to get the money from your buyer. Afterwards, it’s you are On your own. But, with all the HOA’s, water, gas, electric, etc. buyers could greatly use the benefit of a helping hand. Also, warranties, what we need to do who to call, connectivity issues in the house, all this can be overwhelming!!!

Where do I start? From being misled by the realtor to the poor workmanship in my home, the experience with Lennar has been nothing short of disappointing. The issues didn’t stop at closing—getting warranty work addressed has been a constant battle, with delays, lack of communication, and unresolved problems. I expected better from a national builder, but I’ve learned the hard way. I will never buy another home from Lennar, and I’d strongly caution others to think twice before doing so.

Construction, walk through, finance… terrible experience. The amount of times I have had to reach out to the warranty dept is embarrassing. Although this warranty team is great- why are they repairing things on a new home? Finance team, construction team manager…. Need to do better.

Everyone was great. My realtor, my loan team, even the construction manager that stayed in the area to make sure everyone got their questions answered and concerns addressed. Absolutely wonderful to work with

Process was smooth from start to finish. Overall a good process. All the Lennar reps were pleasant and very responsive. Our agent Laura was fantastic.

Lenar is in it to turn over homes…it’s lost in the name. The workers who do as little as possible, the nails left after clean up, I’ll go so far as no integrity in workmanship… we paid for “luxury”. There is nothing luxurious about these homes especially the finished product. Location is wonderful…integrity is lost with these homes at closing

So, the home buying process and issues did not go so well for me. I had an employee for Lennar (Carla) show me a home I was very interested in and ready to put a deposit on and purchase. I had submitted the paperwork and everything. She had taken too long on her end to sign off and apparently somebody else submitted their offer before mine due to this. I missed out on the home. Fine. She had told me that there was another home with the same style and showed me a concept photo of it. Due to this being my first time buying a home, I thought the house would look exactly like it did on the concept photo. There were multiple that were not similar, but due to me missing out on the last home, I had decided to go forward with this home without even viewing it. I wanted to make sure that my experience did not happen again with THIS home. Everything appeared to be fine, however I still wanted to inspect the home and check out any problems that it might potentially have. I attempted to reach out to Carla multiple times however she was on vacation and I couldn’t proceed further with my request and decided to just continue with the process. When I finally closed on the home, I noticed that the grading/fence was poorly done. The fence sloped really bad facing the master bedroom side causing approximately 8 inches of lost privacy due to the fence line sloping down. This wasn’t an issue for the neighboring homes though. I submitted request on request to address the fence/grading however my requests kept getting rejected due to the builder saying that everything was build up to code. The builder even acknowledged that the fence looks way off but there was nothing they can do. I requested to speak to the supervisor about my issue but the case just got closed. It’s almost been two months and the issue is still apparent. The case continues to get closed without even the slightest solution to my concern. The lack of privacy is troublesome and apparent. I paid almost half a million dollars for my home and the one thing I’d expect is for the fence/grading to be addressed since my issues with the Lennar Rep and me losing out on the first home I wanted. I believe trust is a big part of the home buying process and want to give Lennar a good recommendation to family, friends, and peers, however this process has been anything other than that. ... More

I was very satisfied with the sales people and the closing process. Lennar has this well organized and very easy for the buyer. The home is solid and everything works well. I have owned twelve hones, including four new builds. My Lennar home has had the usual minor items that needed attention: things like trim paint on the ceiling, a minor door adjustment and some caulking that was needed. Trent and alyssa, my Lennar contacts were always plesant, responsive and cooperative in meeting my requests. My home came as a plain vanilla house. I spent the extra money to paint the interior with top quality paint instead of the builder's grade paint that came standard. 22It now looks fantastic. I also upgraded the kitchen cabinets with nicer doors and hardware and top quality appliances and I am very pleased with my new custom-look kitchen. Overall, I am satisfied with my new home and think it was a very good value for a large home on the water. I like the club house and fitness center. We love our townhome I would say if your a first time homebuyer like we were and you want to make it a special experience have a realtor because the experience it’s self didn’t feel very special and I will say every situation might be different but I would say they updated us on the progress but the whole time up until closing we didn’t even know for sure if we even got officially approved so we were more stressed than excited during the process. And we didn’t even get a key at signing we didn’t get our code until later the day we signed and the code they gave us first wasn’t even the right code so we had to wait out side of our new home until we got a hold of someone to open the door . They didn’t do any real kind of celebration for us so if you want a special kind of experience I would say use a realtor. But we didn’t even love our new home! ... More

The material is pretty cheap. I still gave blue tape from my walk through of spots that were never corrected. My neighbor closed a week after me has his grass and trees I was told “sorry” by construction mgr was then told I was scheduled for Tuesday June 24, 2025 to get my grass. That’s STILL has not happened. There’s always trash in our yards from the builders because they leave their trash everywhere blowing around foam plates, water bottles, trash bags, aluminum foil. It’s everywhere.

every warranty contractor that enters my home tells me you’re company only sells junk air should have know better but the interest rates motivated me to buy a crappy house you cut corners on everything i got what i paid for but never again will i buy a lennar house sales and the loan process was very unprofessional
