All Lennar associates were very professional, helpful and responsive to all questions. Minor detail that needed correcting was taken care of quickly. Closing went smoothly

Everything we were told was not actually true! They stretched the truth about all costs & bills, including insurance. Flood insurance & work that needed to be done before closing! We spent over $1,000 just to fly down for walk through which they said all work would be done before we move it & it was a waste of our time & money!!! Nothing was fixed before we moved in!!!

While the layout works for our needs, there are several issues that reflect a lack of attention to detail and some questionable material choices. One of the bedroom doors is misaligned and does not close properly. Another door swing past their stop and hit the walls, Light switches have been placed behind the door making them inconvenient to reach. We also had to arrange for pest control shortly after moving in due to an ant problem—something we didn’t expect in a newly built home. We were surprised by the builder's decision to install a hybrid water heater, which may be efficient but has mixed reviews. The drawer slides throughout the home are basic, similar to what you'd find in an entry-level apartment, and don’t match the expectations for a new single-family home. Overall, the home is okay, but the quality feels average. These kinds of issues add up and affect the overall experience. The process started out good, we were working with Ali initially. They transferred out case to Heather H. And everything fell apart. She continually called to ask fir documents that were sent 2 to 3 times already, still I was patient, until she contacted us on the day of closing asking for paystubs and w2's. Now keep in mind these documents were sent at the very beginning of this process. I asked her if this was normal to ask for these things on day of closing. In my mind everything would have been in order by then. At this point, they transferred us back to Ali G. We were told we needed 18 thousand more dollars to make this happen ( now we are day after closing). We also needed 6 thousand additional dollars for reserves. Up until this point, I had never heard the word " reserves". We were guaranteed to get that 6 thousand back after closing. I was told to get a wire transfer from a family member and that money would be returned to us about 2 weeks after closing. I borrowed money with the full intent to pay them back immediately. Well, as the days went by, I checked in on this and we were only getting back 3400 of the 6 thousand reserve dollars. Lennar did not hold true to 80% of the lies that they told us. It was a very frustrating and disapointing experience. My husband and I both missed work on 2 different occasions when we were told we were closing. I think I cried more during that time then i ever have, it was awful. After the closing date, we were told that this would not happen if we didn't come up with 24 thousand dollars. I had already bought furniture, had plans to have family down. You can understand how upsetting this would be. I don't know what Heather H. Was doing but she certainly wasn't doing her job. As a senior loan officer for Lennar, I would expect some professionalism and knowledge from her. She left out critical details, lost documents over and over again and basically steered us in the wrong direction the entire time. I really b would not recommend Lennar to anyone I know. Courtney and Justin were amazing! From the first time we met Courtney and toured the community we knew this was the place for us! Courtney was kind, patient and extremely accommodating. After finding the perfect house we then were in contact with Justin our loan officer. He made what normally could be a stressful process easy and seamless. He answered every question we had and never made us feel like a bother even after hours. Because of them we were sure this was the best choice and we highly recommend Lennar homes to everyone!

overall quality below industry standard, extremely dishonest . I couldn't ever in good conscience recommend them to anyone.

My house has many cheaply and sloppy done workmanship. Chalking is messy in many areas, clay sand under the appliances in the kitchen, countertops are not the best quality you would expect from the price I paid for the house. There are no towel racks installed in the bathrooms, which should be a standard item in every home purchased. The floor quality is not the best either, the carpet does not have proper padding underneath, a must for getting the best wear out of your carpet. The houses in Blue Ridge Village are being built too fast and good quality is missing.

We have only been in our new home for about 3 weeks but have had several problems arise. Each issue has so far been taken care of in a timely manner. At this point we are very happy with the response time to take care of homeowner issues.

I really enjoyed buying my home from Lennar, everyone came together to make this deal close on time. However, my home is over 70 stucco and I have a crack on the bathroom window which is about 10 feet in the air. I submitted for this repair after 1 week and it was denied. Christine Connor from Lennar came into the home 2 months later to look at other repairs and stated that the stucco repair is not covered under warranty. I would need to buy matching paint, buy some stucco repair, and get my ladder 10 feet high so I can repair it myself or I can hire someone to repair the window of my brand new home. I would like you share my honest opinion here. We moved from other city and it was like 5 hours drive from there to here in Katy TX. I saw my house when I almost bought it. The1st big shock that I received by this house was the door of bathrooms that are NOT wheelchair accessible with a special need child it is so hard that no body can imagine. Kitchen pantry and closets are so small though we have plenty of rooms in the house lennar needs to find some better builders in this regard or people who make maps of the houses. If you want to buy from Lennar please check thoroughly everything.

My adjuster was a buddy of mine. He worked with lennar to get everything going. All this emails and online paperwork was to much. Lennar should give people options to get things done in person. Random people from lennar kept sending me emails. I didn’t know who to trust. I was given no option to get things signed in person. I had to read everything I was signing and had no one tell me what I was signing. Everything felt RUSHED. I disliked buying from lennar. I’m never buying from lennar again.

The process is a lot easier than I expected representative very quick and response to any questions that I’ve had after finding my forever home. I was in within within three weeks.

The outside agents I used were excellent! However my experience with Lennar wasn’t satisfactory! The day I was to move in was a nightmare! The elevator wasn’t working and my condo is on the 4th floor. In fact, the elevator wasn’t working and down for the next 3 days.. I lost money because the movers had to reschedule. If a part was missing, why was it not sent overnight courier? Nobody really seemed concerned. The management company especially didn’t seem to care whatsoever. I now have others issues which I documented. I received an email requesting a virtual tour to address the problems. This isn’t going to work for me. I regret purchasing a home built by Lennar. From the start, the quality of work has been subpar—sloppy finishes, poorly installed fixtures, and noticeable shortcuts in construction. It’s clear that attention to detail was not a priority. Trying to get repairs done has been a nightmare. I’ve contacted their team multiple times, and either get no response or I’m passed from one person to another with no resolution. The agent I dealt with during the buying process was unhelpful and dismissive once the sale was finalized. They made plenty of promises before closing, but completely disappeared afterward. If you’re considering buying a Lennar home, I strongly recommend thinking twice. You’ll be left dealing with problems they should have fixed from the start—with no one to take accountability. ... About a year ago I started looking at Lennar. The homes seemed affordable. I submitted an online request and they called me at least two months later. I went in person to look at a model and I was able to talk with someone. They were very responsive and the process moved quickly. The loan officer and loan process was also great! The craftsmanship is not quality. The floors were dirty, we had to ask for them to be cleaned again. The lady came to clean and she cleaned about 1/4 of the issues I presented and just left. You get what you pay for. We have had several warranty issues resolved and investigated very quickly which is reassuring. The materials used seem of poor quality, like drywall. Not sure what kind it is because it seems to bend and chip in various places. I don’t feel comfortable using fasteners as I feel they’ll slip right out it’s already happened. Overall, I like the house but if I could afford a better home, I wouldn’t buy from Lennar. ... More

Bathroom shower glass and shower head are low quality as are the window blinds throughout the house. Price was fair and willing to negotiate. Landscaping needs some improvements.

PRETTY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH MY NEW HOME WITH LENNAR, After fully trusting the company for the build quality, I've unfortunately encountered several issues that I believe should not be present in a brand new home. While minor issues can be expected, I have discovered significant problems, including water leaks and siding bumps. These are considerable concerns that have caused me and my family great deal of stress.

I recently purchased an apartment with Lennar and overall, the experience was positive. The process went smoothly, and I appreciate the professionalism of the team during the transaction. However, I do want to mention one concern. I referred a friend, Sherry, who also purchased a property through Lennar. While I was happy to receive the referral commission, unfortunately, it was issued under the wrong company name. Despite a few emails requesting a correction, the matter is still pending. I understand that mistakes happen, but I would appreciate a little more follow-up and support to resolve this properly.
