I didn’t have a good experience, I think if I could go back I would choose another builder .

I had the worst experience buying my house. Didn’t get to close on time because of lack of communication with lennar and their employees.

Good communication, save on the day of closing my final home walkthrough was scheduled at 9:30a and closing was scheduled at 10:00am. The locations were 45 min apart, so I missed my final walkthrough.

Great buying experience with Gail and team. Great customer service with David.

Lennar is overall a pretty good builder and they have designed pretty well. The outlets and room structures are well placed. The inclusive wire hiding spots are impressive and the technology they included such as ring door bell and sensors for ring door opening are well done. I do wish the condo building entrance instead of a fob entrance had a video calling system as that would make it easier rather than an antiquated voice system. There were some small things here and there that did require fixing after closing but they were very responsive to correcting anything. There were some structural issues that did cause water damage but they were quick to act and fixed it in a very professional manner and got it resolved very fast. I do wish some things were inclusive such as pull out drawers for all cabinets because reaching pots and pans in the back is painful. Also their ADU compliant standing shower stall is not very good at blocking water from coming out after someone is done showering. I would have liked it if they included stronger light points in the second and third bedrooms so we can install fans if we wanted but it requires major constructions changes in order for us to achieve it. I am very happy with the windows but I do think having standard windows sizes or at least a warning to homeowners that they do not have standard size windows (to easily buy blinds) would be a nice warning to have. It would be nice if they provided the windows sizes ahead of closing so that homeowners can be prepared for the blinds and curtain purchases they need to make. The garage itself is spacious enough but the garage door that they have installed is smaller than the width of the garage making us have to be very careful about pulling into our garage (inexperienced drivers beware). ... After spending about two moths in the home, we are more and more disappointed in the quality of construction at this location. We installed a ceiling fan in the master bedroom, went to the breaker box to turn off the switch and couldn’t get the power to the switch off despite turning off every breaker in the box labeled for outlets and switches. Tried to install a storage unit in the garage that hangs from the ceiling. Seems pretty basic rafters are supposed to be 16” on center. Well these ones are 24 which must be the new code. Noticed my stud finder wasn’t picking them up at 24” so went into the attic to measure and no two rafters are equally spaced. The distances ranged from 24” to 27”. Ended up not being able to install the ceiling storage because we couldn’t get a total of 96” which should have just been 4 rafters. Already have burnt out lights in the master bathroom shower, backyard drains towards the house, as do the gutters in the courtyard. There are plenty of additional issues that have been popping up, needless to say the list of repairs needed at the one year time frame is going to be lengthy. ... More

From Deborah, Laurie, Kathy, Brooke, Larry, and Kenny everyone did an amazing job for me. I always tell people how easy and stress free the new build process is, and as a first-time homebuyer, it truly was a great experience. From the finance and business side to the builders themselves, the whole team walked me through every step. It’s honestly incredible what you all have created. I’m even trying to convince my mom to buy a new build too!

Overall experience was very good.

A great deal and a good experience

I was a little wary of buying a new home from Lennar given the mixed reviews online, but Lennar exceeded my expectations. The construction manager kept me in the know throughout the build process and answered all of my questions as a first time home buyer. Even when there was a slight delay to my close date for reasons outside their control, they were extremely transparent. Even after close they were extraordinarily responsive to my requests. They would swing by the same day to fix small problems like ill-fitting door jambs and missing appliance toe-kicks. When I had my first warranty request for the attic access door, they fixed it within a week of our virtual call and made sure it was fixed to my satisfaction. As with any new build, there are small workmanship issues here and there. But as my inspector will attest, the quality of this home excellent and the price was hard to beat. ... More

From start to finish it was a great experience! Everyone at Lennar is so nice and helpful….Stephanie, are sale lady, is wonderful and so accommodating. Not to mention a real sweetheart to work with!…..Steve went above and beyond to be so helpful and an amazing personality….perfect job for him!

Great points - processing the loan only took 4-6 weeks to complete. Sprinkler system is included. Tankless water heater. Not so great - Mortgage loan officer needs better communication with buyer so there are no surprises when it comes to paying closing costs. Sending multiple closing costs disclosures creates confusion on the buyer Not so great - House bought for $245k does not live up to par with the house I bought 3 years ago for $219k. The house is built as basic as it can be. No linen cabinets, no towel bars in bathrooms (seriously?!), no glass enclosure for shower in master bathroom, not even a doorbell. It is so basic that it feels like moving into an office building with little or no thought as to what was being built. They just built it for how much they can get out of it than building a future family home. Finishing touches around the bathroom tub and stand in shower were so sloppy. The grout or whatever it is was just slapped on the fiberglass and wasn’t smoothened out at all. The customer service person could have at least find a way to correct it instead of explaining why that doesn’t make sense. My son owns a Lennar home and I was impressed with his house. Aside from the reason of buying a home closer to my daughter, I chose Lennar Home as my forever home because of my impression with my son’s home. I was very, very disappointed, to say the least. ... The Lennar staff is easy to work with and always professional and helpful. Their patience was calming for my first time purchase by myself.

Overall a great experience as a first homeowner

Ask absolutely everything and read the contract, even if it's long. You should hire a separate inspector for the day of the inspection and acceptance of the house because you don't know what to look for except the basics, if the property comes with many defects. You should ask in advance about the exact measurements of the patio, for example, so as not to be surprised. You should ask about the appliances that are not included now, the garage door opener, which is also not included, and especially about the non-impact windows. At this point, this shouldn't be the case. The construction in general, when compared to other Lennar properties we've purchased, shows that they are increasingly using cheaper materials or contractors. Regarding the sales process, prepare for stressful days. Perhaps it's because Lennar and any construction company have many regulations and laws to comply with, but the process, unless you come with cash or with absolutely everything perfect, is stressful. Don't forget to look at other construction projects before closing a deal. The staff in general, both in sales and in the construction and delivery supervisors, are very friendly and professional, but I think Lennar's policies, processes, and regulations make buying a home one of the most stressful processes you can experience. Perhaps it's the same with all construction companies, but be sure to ask questions, inquire, and be sure of what you're buying. ... More

I’m truly very satisfied with my home buying experience. Rich, the sales agent, was always attentive, quick to respond, and made sure all my questions were answered throughout the process. During the inspection, Eric was extremely patient and explained every detail about how the house works , he’s even helped me with some concerns after moving in, which I really appreciate. David, the lender, was also incredibly helpful and attentive from the very beginning. As a Realtor myself, I’m used to navigating complicated transactions, but this one, despite a tense moment toward the end of the loan process—was handled smoothly and professionally. Their after sales support has been much better than expected. Since the closing, every request we've had has been attended too promptly and professionally. Macki and her bosses have been excellent

Lennar is everything that i wanted and more. All of the appliances are state of the art. The sod went down and looks so wonderful. I can’t say anything bad about Lennar at all.

Lennar made their integrated process with builder, title and lender both competitive, quick and easy to work with. I shopped around but ended up with Lennar as best for all three.

Used the cheapest of the cheapest. From materials, to plants, etc.

Very bad experience. Dish washer didn’t work properly, door lock didn’t work and ring either. Nothing can be solved by Lennar so I have to waste my time trying to call to the individual warranty. I moved to the community without mailbox. One month picking up the mail at usps. Now they are giving the mailbox key. But I have to drive to doral to pick it up. Everything is very inconvenient
