The money at least we can have floors that can be washed meaning to be able to use water

Purchasing was smooth less with sales and closing. All personal on these two teams very responsive and helpful. Closing in relation to date to close walkthrough was subpar. We were given a date to close in purchase order and then was moved up 3 weeks. House was not in shape to close as the construction to finalize was being rushed with new move up date, end of fiscal quarter. We used our own inspector which picked up the same amount of items to be corrected and even more which lennar refused to make fixes. We were told our inspector takes the place of our walkthrough and if something isn’t noted on the inspection report they won’t fix and would go to warranty if needed after closing. Also informed it’s not on Lennar in relation to concrete once laid unless uneven. I explained I did not want to deal with warranty for items that could be corrected or noted to be correct prior to closing. We were also not informed that there is a one year plumbing warranty so if you want to change out anything in relation to plumbing you have to call the plumbers and schedule them to install otherwise your plumbing warranty for the first year will be void. Thankfully we found this out when we were having our dishwasher installed. So now moving forward I call, but the construction manager stated he didn’t even know when I called him. That is concerning they he didn’t know and it was never stated. Dealing with warranty has been a lot of back and forth. Minor items are quick and corrected. The blinds company used was amazing as the supervisor told his employee servicing the house “use replace it and make her happy.” The trade that have come has been nice and pleasant. However my biggest concern is the amount paid for the home and the final touches, quality of the small items and the fixtures. The fixtures looked as if they were purchased and did not match the price of home. Basic chrome and laundry fixtures in kitchen and other areas. My BIGGEST issue is with the installation of the tub and enclosure products. The enclosures shake so much they have a give that doesn’t seem secure. I was informed by “higher ups” that the construction was to specs, the enclosures was installed to company’s specs and there is nothing that can be done. I was also told there is caulking (subpar) and no water intrusion so not to worry. Red flag this is something I worry about and rather be agreed of that issue. Also the fact the tub and enclosure are not flush and “no caulking needed due to the way it fits”. Water that stays in the craves is a concern. Overall Lennar purchase is a 3 star. For the price paid for the cookie cutter layout, fixtures and no choice of updates. The personal has been helpful for the most part. However, beware of quality of items and the amount you will have to fight for quality of expectations when paying almost 500k for a forever home. We had to add gutter as that was cut back, no outside lights near garage doors, patio is a small slab, 18in x 36in, to step on outside the slider. Had double sinks in model- now single, had impact windows- now metal shutters. This means even more money to spend to make the home to standards. ... More

First off the buying process step by step was good. As far as the quality material of the homes wasn’t great. A lot of the items can be damaged and If carefully found during walk through it will not be covered under warranty after closing. Tree’s that was planted were not deep enough and was knocked down on a windy day also not covered warranty after closing as well. We had to dig the hole deeper and re planted ourselves. It feels like the home was built/installed in a rush.

We moved across the country to this Lennar community. Everyone we have dealt with from the realtors, to the closing agents, to the construction and warranty people have been a delight to deal with. We have only been here a couple of months, but we have no complaints.

Let’s see…a 55+ active adult (retirement) community (old people) where the house thermometer is so small you can harder read it. Makes absolutely no sense. A front door that is 8’ tall which means you must purchase a customized screen door to fit. Super large,oversized garbage and recycling cans with no where convenient to store them.

My home buying experience with Lennar has been overwhelmingly positive. The purchasing process was smooth, the financing team was fantastic to work with, and the sales staff were helpful and responsive throughout. Even after the sale, the people who have supported me with warranty issues have been excellent—professional, prompt, and thorough. However, the one major downside has been my experience with Lennar’s virtual call center. In particular, I had an extremely frustrating and disappointing interaction with a phone representative named Shannon, who abruptly hung up on me mid-conversation. This left me uncertain and concerned about whether my warranty issues would be addressed. Despite requesting to speak with her manager, I’ve still heard nothing back—only silence from that part of the organization. Thankfully, the local team handling the actual repairs has been great, but this call center experience was unacceptable and left a lasting negative impression. ... More

Lennar made it so easy and helped us through the entire process!! I am so grateful for them and that we got our dream home!!!

The process was easy. The entire team was responsive and professional every step of the way,even after closing.

Overall horrible experience from the building manager lieing to me and trying to hide things down to a bad experience with closing with Lennar.

The referred services vendors are worst: 1. Solar company did not set up solar account until today, which is around 3 months already; 2. trash services slow, not on time, expensive; 3. electricity expensive than SCE; 4. window design weird, flies coming in during nights frequently; 5. the financing process frustrated.

I am delighted to share our experience. Quality is non-existent. Paint is so watered down it comes off on your hands and clothes. Every outlet cover is painted onto the wall. The floor tiles have never been cleaned. Electric kept popping the breakers. Response was there isn't anything wrong, you should plug your Keurig in elsewhere. In a house built for 2025? None sense. (We have had the breakers replaced and that circuit is fine, now.) After closing there has been little or no effort by Lennar. The service request system is cumbersome and almost useless. There are no drawers in either bathroom also no towel bars. Half shelves in the lower kitchen cabinets. Several tiles need to be replaced. Grout drippings are all over, door hinge screws missing, every door bottom looks like they have been dropped, scratches in the very low-quality stainless sink. Roof tiles flapping in the wind. Scratches on the "granite" counters. The list goes on. Stucco around the doorbell, the entryway door lock’s finish is coming off, caulking around the base of the entryway door has come off, window frame on the front bedroom is loose. Paint dribbles everywhere. The pantry shelves have huge blobs where paint has dripped into blobs about the size of a quarter on every shelf. Shall I go on? ... More

I’m very much happy with the responsiveness of all the problem we have in our new home. Thanks to Harold he’s very approachable and easy to talk to regarding everything his efficient too. Thank you to Lily the one from finances until now she’s been helping me she’s very seeet and friendly. I revoke my review to Kimberly Morris. Not a good quality final inspector. We are a first home buyer we don’t really know about homes she assured us everything is fine when we started moving in we found all the error especially the dryer vent if not installed and the sink is not even attached good. The Lennar warranty team was really responsive and great at communicating progress. I would recommend a professional cleaning prior to closing as their floors had several adhesive marks that took multiple cleanings to remove.

Kelly our customer care representative is extremely helpful, professional and knowledgeable. Whatever problems we had, Kelly arranged for it to taken care of right away. We cannot say enough good things about her. A great problem solver.

Not the best experience. The buying process, going through the closing was terrible. Lori and Andrea NEVER answer phones, they’re rude when you ask them questions. I’m glad that the process is over, however I don’t think I’ll ever refer anyone to build a home with Lennar.

- The initial purchasing process was a smooth one. - Several smaller issues that were discovered during the walk through & reported were not resolved as promised. Meanwhile, the Lennar team were persistent about ‘closing’ so we did it as soon as possible. The outstanding issues were never addressed. - It’s not necessarily the issues that wasn’t completed, but the promise that wasn’t kept creates a negative impression.

Great customer service! Love our new home!

Customer care guy is nice but not totally knowledgeable about house. ie: said fireplace had a blower (it does not ), said He would take care of dirty windows on outside ( did not ), yard light not working ( He said you have to wait a few minutes ( not true, there is an inside switch that a neighbor told me about, still not working)

From start to finish, other than me having to learn to Docusign process went very smoothly. All those representing Lennar were very kind and compassionate even when I had my many questions. Looking to spending time in my new forever home. My sincere thanks to All!!

They build a home, not a custom home

Good basic starter home. Would be good to have tp racks and towel racks. I encountered too many personnel changes during the closing and post closing process. I had numerous post closing issues that should have not been issues. My view is that the last portion of the build was sloppy, most likely because of changing roles of Lennar personnel. You need a full time on site person to manage the post close warranty issues. doing it remote didnt work for me and certainly dealing w numerous vendors that just show up not speaking english is not something I have time for. Poor management

Having all options for building, financing, insurance, etc. all in-house makes the buying process less stressful. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and the Lennar team in general.

Every aspect of the home purchase journey was over the top. I would recommend Lennar to all my friends and family.

The entire process was very positive from dealing with the sales office, the loan officer, the insurance broker, and closing in escrow. The home was in very good condition when we moved in, and we are very happy.

I'm providing this feedback after multiple attempts to raise concerns through the proper channels, including emails sent to the CEO, VP, Regional Managers, and Customer Care, none of which have resulted in meaningful resolution. My experience has been deeply frustrating and disappointing. Key issues: • The home was overpriced, and I feel misled and taken advantage of during the buying process. • Build quality is substandard relative to the price point. • Customer service has been slow, dismissive, or unresponsive - even at the highest levels. • I've made multiple attempts to raise concerns, but have received no fair resolution or accountability. • The ongoing costs — including HOA, Mello-Reos, and high property taxes - are excessive and not clearly communicated up front. • Traffic congestion in Mountain House has worsened significantly due to unplanned overdevelopment. • It feels like Lennar is focused solely on exploiting buyer urgency and housing demand, without considering how homeowners live, commute, or manages the long-term costs. • I would not recommend buying a home in this area.
